46, Morgantown, WVLet's start with the obvious .... as you can see from my photos, I use a wheelchair.....but when you meet me, you'll see that it doesn't slow me down one bit. In fact I'm known in the CM forums as "Zoom" because of how fast I can move. I've been Catholic all my life, and I serve my parish as a lector and a member of the choir. I've been doing square and contra dancing with a local group here in Morgantown since 2006, and in 2014 I took up swing dancing. I also am a big sports fan, especially of baseball and hockey, and a movie buff. I also have traveled independently all over the country and even into Canada and Mexico. Like I said....I have challenges, but by the grace of God I have overcome them, and hope to continue overcoming them.
64, Wheeling, WVI'm a divorced father of six and grandfather of five. I've been married twice and have been on my own for quite a few years. I was a Roman Catholic seminarian in my high school years and have always treasured the staunch Jesuit education I received. Now, at 64 (soon), i find myself back in the seminary (Holy Apostles in CT) pursing another (my 4th) Masters in Theology. I teach Basic and Intermediate Greek at Holy Apostles and tutor several high school students in various subjects. My full time position with the VA ended with my stroke. Prior to that I spent 2 years at Johns Hopkins developing a Health Info Curriculum for national dissemination. I believe in lifelong learning and have spent much of my life doing just that. I need to be very honest here- and I'm VERY sorry if I scare you off...I suffered a major stroke 13 years ago and a stroke and heart attack four years ago, and have little feeling on my left. I walk well with a cane. I sound like I'm describing a pet here - don't I? Well I do play well with others and am reasonably well behaved. Oh - and I'm up-to-date with my shots! Seriously, I'm forever on the mend and hoping to find a woman who can forsake dancing (at least with me) and extreme sports. I'm more in the way of gentle walking and gardening. By the way, I love gardening - had (20+ raised beds and a small greenhouse till the styroke), baking bread, canning, and sharing life and love with you... My dog (and best friend) Rasheed died of cancer on June 15 7 years ago, leaving a real void in my life. I rented a cottage on 1 1/2 acres in Middletown, MD. and now live in a beautiful apartment in Wheeling WV near my daughters., As I said, I'm an avid gardener, a voracious reader, and a faithful partner for an intelligent, loving, and faithful woman. Despite my health issues - like the Energizer bunny, just keep on going...I am committed to truth, sincerity, and personal authenticity and am seeking a friend and, hopefully, life mate who feels the same. I would love to have a friend to talk to and share life with...
64, Beckley, WVI haven't dated in a while, and I am hoping to meet someone close to my age and see where things go. I am not into the bar scene, not looking for a one night stand. I am looking for a meaningful relationship, with someone who is honest, faithful, and communicative. Life is just way too short for games. I am a Navy vet. My job requires extensive travel, which I hope to reduce later this year.

36, Morgantown, WVO Raphael, lead us towards those we are waiting for, those who are waiting for us! Raphael, Angel of Happy Meetings, lead us by the hand towards those we are looking for! May all our movements, all their movements, be guided by your Light and transfigured by your Joy. Angel Guide of Tobias, lay the request we now address to you at the feet of Him on whose unveiled Face you are privileged to gaze. Lonely and tired, crushed by the separations and sorrows of earth, we feel the need of calling to you and of pleading for the protection of your wings, so that we may not be as strangers in the Province of Joy, all ignorant of the concerns of our country. Remember the weak, you who are strong - you whose home lies beyond the region of thunder, in a land that is always peaceful, always serene, and bright with the resplendent glory of God. Amen.
41, Charles Town, WVBack on the site, after taking a break for some time. Bear with me as I update my information. In summary though, I have a positive attitude and love my Catholic faith! I love to laugh and try to find the joy in life... I love what I do for a living, but when the work day ends, I'm focused on my kids and our family. My parents recently retired, but live 3 hrs away, near the beach, so I try and visit with them, or vice versa, as often as we can. I love and admire them very much, and they have been married for 44 years... quite an accomplishment! And they are very much still in love! I live pretty simply, take good care of what I have, and appreciate all that I've got. :-) I am prayerful that God has prepared, or is preparing someone for me, that is equally yoked and has similar values... faith and family, and being a responsible steward of God's gifts to us.
64, Huntington, WVI am compassionate about life and enjoy simple pleasures; a sunset, flowers, blue skies and the bold colors of Fall. I work full time but find time to exercise and practice my faith. I enjoy music, dance, art and cultural diversity. I am looking for someone with the same interests.
67, Fairmont, WVAs a retired teacher and principal, I am still interested in learning and Education. I like to cook. I also enjoy the beach, camping and am always reading something. My favorite place to visit is Williamsburg, VA.
54, Friendly, WVI am a very devout Catholic who joyfully adheres to the Magisterial teachings of the Catholic Church. I was widowed on August 30, 2012. I was married to the gentlest, kindest, sweetest man who showed me what love is all about. I was not open to dating for a while, but the fact that I am posting this profile is an indication that my heart is opening and that the cold pain of loss is melting. I hold a master's degree in counseling from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. I am passionately pro-life, having served on the board of directors of the National Association of Pro-Life Nurses from 2006-2013. I have also been involved in First Amendment activities such as placing nativity scenes in public places, praying at abortion facilities, attending the annual March for Life in Washington, DC, etc. I am not currently working, but I have worked as a psychiatric nurse in the past. I cannot relocate at this time, as I am caring for two houses. I have a house in Steubenville, Ohio that I need to sell. I must also care for it--with the help of my brothers--so I cannot simply "pick up and take off," at least not at this time. So if you are looking at my profile at this time, how about sending up a prayer to St. Joseph on my behalf? Thank you!! Every morning, I spend time quietly invoking the Holy Spirit. I also like to say the Rosary. I am not a "needy" woman. I am secure in my identity. My late husband Mike and I had a happy relationship that was based on trust. I'd like to have that again, God willing.
62, Martinsburg, WVI am recently retired and caregiver for my sister who has Down's Syndrome and Alzheimer's. I enjoy movies, eating out and sports. I was taught by loving parents respect for all people and to keep an open mind.
27, Elkins, WVI'm most passionate about teaching, writing, and singing and look forward most to sharing my passions with another. My family has greatly influenced my life and I am looking for someone who is also family-centered. In my free time I live to read, travel, and explore new places.
61, New Cumberland, WVI'm my brother's best friend, and I would do anything to help him as a Christian. Life's experiences brought me to a place where I developed a personal daily commitment to God. I enjoy keeping up on my work, running, reading, baking, bible study, and new opportunities. If you are over 50 and never married do not message me. If you've divorce because you weren't in love don't contact me either.
