70, Centuria, WIThis part is usually hard for me. I consider myself to be an honest and loyal person. I have been divorced 24 years now, which is longer than what I was married. I have four grown children and 17 grandchildren. I am currently working full time with hopes that in a few years I will be able to retire. I enjoy going to the shopping malls and walk around, not necessarily to buy anything. I enjoy my reading times. I like to watch movies, usually at home, I like to go to concerts or plays. My music could be anything from the 50s and 60s to country, clissical, or most types. There are certain types of music that I just can't stand to listen to.

64, Cumberland, WII am looking forward a quiet, rewarding life that leads me directly home to heaven. As I entire my first few years of retirement, time has come put put behind me a lifetime of professional work as an actuary in the health field, a rewarding one that has taken me to the top of my profession, mostly in large private insurance companies, but also national and private consulting practices and in federal regulation. My career has taken me to live in a few large cities in the country from Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, St. Louis, Kansas City and Washington D.C.. Now I look forward to coming back home to Wisconsin, living in a quiet, peaceful country setting on a lake in northern Wisconsin. I love the four seasons and thats where I want to be. I enjoy aviation, having a pilot's license, actively flying recently, and have owned three single engine personal airplanes over the last ten years, albeit not now. Since transitioning into retirement the last few years, I obtained a full two year associates degree in aircraft electronics, looking now how I can contribute in the field, either with a full time job or perhaps even starting up a hobby of building an airplane. Today a typical day starts with Mass, a hard 15 mile bike ride (or elliptical equivalent on cold or rainy days), a rosary and some weight work, before breakfast. I don't need YMCA or fitness clubs to spend money that should be going to charities. I have a soft spot for children of limited means, so like to live as though I was still one of those children that "made it." In other words I try never to live at means greater than I need to for a comfortable life, contributing the financial value of what others might spend on vacations, fitness club, dining, etc. . My children are well established in their careers & personal life, two with two grand children each in the Minneapolis area and one daughter in California. We love each other dearly, connect occasionally for no special reason and connect on all major life events and holidays, but they are independent and I respect that. I am healthy, physically active without restrictions, mentally acute and spiritually healthy. Keeping this way is very important to me. These are all gifts from God and I want to honor Him by maintaining these gifts to highest degree. For that means daily prayer, daily exercise and daily challenging work, be it through employment or through my favorite home activities of home improvement and gardening.
69, Baldwin, WII am passionate about my family an friends.I enjoy watching my grandkids play sports. I enjoy coffee,a drink, conversation with friends. I have flower beds, enjoy quilting, road triping, shopping, etc
60, Thorp, WII'm a very simple person who has found through life that the important things in life aren't things. Sharing your life with someone is the most rewarding thing that can happen in your life. I would like to spend time with a companion who has the same interests and ideals that I do,
64, River Falls, WII have been on this site for almost a year now, so have decided to update my profile. What I have observed in this past year is that people online are perhaps more cautious in starting a conversation than they would be if you were to meet by chance elsewhere. That is understandable, but regrettable. Life is short - let us take a chance! As to who I am, I spent the majority of my life enjoying a successful career in accounting and financial analysis. I really loved the many challenges in my work, and it is in my nature to become immersed in what I love. I did not pay enough attention to maintaining a more balanced life in the passing years, letting the joy of the challenge of my work sweep me along. Even so, I had fallen in love and was committed to that relationship for some years until it ended sadly. I then doubled down on my dedication to my work, and it wasnt until I stepped away from that job that I fully realized there was no substitute for human companionship. I often think that life would be richer if I could share the beauty (and the challenges) of it with someone else. I joined this site in the hopes there was a potential friend out there that wasnt intimidated by my independent life so far, or dismissive of me for having reached this stage in my life without having married. I am just a normal person that was not blessed with that path in life, although I was blessed in many other ways. I moved back to the midwest several years ago to be closer to my family, and because I enjoyed more open spaces and changing seasons. I have an uncomplicated life and enjoy a variety of things, such as plants, gardening, fishing, reading, games, a bit of woodworking and home repair. My strengths are a fairly good range of life and professional experiences, a reasonably quick and rational mind, a good listener, and a commitment to exercising and good health. I greatly value honesty. I tend to be very logical, am fairly well read, interested in a wide variety of subjects (particularly science and history), have strong ties to my family, appreciation of my faith, inquisitive, and open to new adventures. I have a good sense of humor that some people bring out in me more than others. I am fairly skilled at Scrabble and other word games, as I love mental challenges. I was quite shy when I was younger, but have mostly overcome that. From my dad, I picked up a can-do attitude that makes me attempt things that just need to be done or are interesting.

62, Superior, WIHi I am discerning my path in life and enjoy a woman's company very much. And my dream is to receive the sacrament of matrimony with the woman God picks for me and to be a husband who follows Chhrsts example as best he can always acting in his wife's best interest. my hope is to meet a woman to marry if we are both in love and love Jesus too but keep her happy all the while.
76, Chetek, WII love the north woods (as in northern Wisconsin) where I was born into abject poverty with a loving and caring mother. I took leave of it and spent 30 years in the U. S. Navy and another 20 years as a Department of Defense contractor. After 58 years I have returned to my roots. The passing of an only child, a daughter, and my wife of 49 years has drawn me closer to my religion. I am a well traveled Viet Nam and cold war veteran. I like to fish and hunt but have not done much of either for many years. I particularly like fine dining and shopping.
