Young Catholic, been in Madison just under a year. I'm really enjoying it. I love my job and hanging out with friends. I've been trying to get back in the dating arena, so I've been trying this for now. I enjoy reading a lot, I'm planning on finishing 52 books this year, and am currently two books ahead of pace. I also enjoy typical "nerd" things, like video games or board/card games. Aside from that, I am very active in my faith, with a few small groups and participation in the young adult scene here.

I really enjoy spending time outdoors. Going for a walk, riding bicycle, going for a motorcycle ride, golfing, working in the yard or just about anything that involves exercise. I enjoy romantic dinners, going to the movies, shopping for that special lady or just snuggling with her on the couch watching TV or a movie. Travel is a must. An afternoon drive in the country or a month-long vacation, it's all good. I keep busy doing projects around the house, and especially enjoy doing ones for that special lady. Not to brag but I can build, fix, repair or replace just about anything. In the winter, I spend a couple of months in Texas on South Padre Island walking and riding bicycle on the beach, lying in the sand with a cold drink in my hand and just relaxing. In the evenings, I like going out to dinner and then to a nightclub to listen to music and dance, maybe. I have three grown children and four grandchildren whom I adore. Unfortunately, my two oldest children and the grandchildren don't live close by so I don't get a chance to see them as often as I would like. I retired almost 7 years ago from a 32-year career with the State of Wisconsin. I own my own home and am financially secure. I am hardworking, honest and sincere. I'm not into playing games in a relationship. Just looking for that special lady to enjoy life with.

I'm a very honest person (probably to a fault sometimes), I hate and won't tolerate drama- control, manipulation from either party. Although I'm passionate about finding the good in each person, it's important to always remember that we all have free-will, it's ultimately our own choices to be of God or apart from Him in all we do, all those we come in contact with as well. I'm extremely devoted and once I trust another person I'd do anything for you; I'm not afraid of, but relish in that deeper love, connection, hard work- precious and hard to find. I also love and need fun, goofiness and adventure, treasure the simple things- time and good intentions, mix of deep conversations and playful banter, not taking yourself too seriously, that's the good and valuable stuff I think! I have three school aged kiddos and it helps me during those moments that I question priorities to just see the world through their eyes and souls- childlike simplicity and confidence as God sees us all, puts it all back in perspective.!:) I'm a speech therapist (speech language pathologist) and am passionate about people finding and using their "voice" being heard and valued at all stages of life. My faith is at the heart of everything I am and do. "Roll away your stone I will roll away mine Together we can see what we will find..."- Mumford & Sons

I'm most passionate about the relationships in my life. I'm close to my family and have strong friendships. The most influential experiences has been those that have involved my grandparents. I enjoy hearing the wisdom they share, and learning as much about life as I can from them. I would have to say my Grandma is probably one of my best friends! In my leisure time I enjoy reading, watching Netflix, spending time with loved ones, shooting trap, shopping, going to brewers game or watching cheesy movies. I'm also a huge Packer fan! I'm laid back and enjoy life!

I'm certainly not ordinary. What is to follow is more likely classified as random nonsense than anything useful. However, given my quirky personality, I think that might actually provide more insight than the typical cliche profile. Hopefully, you're at least moderately amused by the end. So, without further ado.... Ten Things I Like... 1) The smell of a freshly cut lawn 2) A hot summer day 3) A cool autumn afternoon 4) Seeing you smile/laugh 5) Fixing my computer 6) A fresh pot of coffee 7) Sleeping in on a weekday 8) Feeding the goats at the zoo (C/C/) 9) Discussing sports, politics and religion 10) Dill pickles Ten Things I Don't Like... 1) Mowing the lawn 2) An uncomfortably hot summer day 3) A cold autumn afternoon 4) Seeing you frown/cry 5) Fixing your computer 6) An empty pot of coffee 7) Oversleeping on a weekday 8) Feeding myself at the zoo ($$) 9) Arguing over sports, politics and religion 10) Sweet pickles I tend to find the villains more interesting. It's not that I don't like cats, it's just that they make me sneeze and I don't like sneezing. I always cry when Mufasa dies. To this day, my biggest regret in life was eating that giant plate of nachos before going on 'The Tempest' at my school's festival during the summer of '95. I'm still disappointed that a ninja cannot be a legitimate career path. Smile! It looks good on you! :)
