69, Mobile, ALI love life as God has given me and I try to be the person he wants me to be each day I wake and begin anew. He took the love of my life after 30 years of marriage and I cherish our children and now grandchildren. They are what make me keep going at this point in my life. I have been retired for the last two years and while loving the freedom, I am thinking of a part time job just to get me working on something worthwhile and also get me out of the house.
41, Madison, ALI'm passionate about my faith, my church and learning more about both. My friends are my family because my family lives 800 miles away. I like learning why and how things work. I enjoy my work and doing the best job I can. I really like to design and make jewelry. Unfortunately, there isn't always time for making jewelry. I like tackling home projects and the satisfaction that comes from completing one. I'm very curious about the world around me and enjoy learning new things. I like to cook and entertain. I tend to go with the flow, but I'm also a planner. I try to see the good in everything and everyone around me. I seek to know God and his Son more fully and intimately. I try to live His will in my life, even though I don't always see the "map" or understand where I'm going. I can be very reserved before I get to know someone. I guess I get that from my dad. I love animals, especially dogs. I have a 90 lb lap dog and am "in love" with her. She has a way to make the bad days melt away and has taught me about unconditional love.
32, Montgomery, ALI'm not really sure what to say! I have to fulfill the minimum word requirement. I am fairly new to Montgomery and Alabama! I will say that I hope you're okay with awkwardness, because as a general rule there's at least 30% awkwardness when I'm around. But I LOVE laughing and so many other things. I'm almost finished with my Master's Degree and getting ready to start traveling the world, I hope. Really to describe myself, is quite impossible. You just have to get to know me. So I hope you do!
59, Rutledge, ALJesus came teaching and healing. Because He is our Example, we are to do the same. As a young girl, I became interested in identifying wildflowers. Later, I learned that wildflowers, herbs, are what people used for medicine for centuries. The Greeks and Romans, particularly, were great herbalists. Christians from the time of Christ used and greatly increased this knowledge of anatomy and healing. The Creator gave us the "leaves of the tree for the curing of the Gentiles." Apocalypse 22:2. The medicinal properties of the herb can be gotten by simply eating the herb, or in teas, tinctures, poultices and salves. Each person needs to have a thorough knowledge of the body, because the body is Our Lord's Temple. We all need to know where the organs are positioned and what their function is. Although, we are not made the same as animals, it is good for one to butcher different animals, to learn about the texture, color, shape and placement of the internal organs. Other things important to restore and maintain health are rest, sunshine, fasting, fruit and vegetable juices and the use of hot and cold water, internally and externally. There is no way nor need for everyone to know the use of every herb, but it is important for all to know some basic herbs. If we learn to tend our health the way the Creator intended, we will become free of such evil institutions as the American Medical Association, etc. In the early to mid 1900's Morris Fishbein was head of the AMA. One of his main goals was to persecute Dr. Harry Hoxsey and close down his cancer clinics. Dr. Hoxsey was a selfless man who cured thousands of the dread disease, cancer. In his madness Fishbein had Dr. Hoxsey arrested and jailed more than 100 times in a 10 year period. The AMA was murderous then, it is far worse now! Also, it is the AMA who executes the mass genital mutilation, "circumcision", of our holy infant boys. This "circumcision" is not hygienic, not Mosaic, not Biblical, not a curb for masturbation, not a fix for cervical cancer, nor a prevention for AIDS. This "circumcision" IS rape, IS anti-Christ, IS destructive of souls, IS excruciatingly painful and IS used for subjugation of a man to our Lord's enemies. So let us prayerfully learn to Cleanse and Nourish our bodies and at the same to Cleanse and Nourish our souls. There is nothing more healing than the love we have one for another. Let us put away selfishness and give of ourselves to the good of Jesus' little Flock.
28, Mobile, ALI am passionate about helping others. I have a heart of gold. Once I am your friend, I will do anything to help them. I look forward to getting a master's in the near future. I enjoy sports and play kickball. I love to watch football (pro and college). I just want someone who is ready to settle down and done playing games. I want someone who likes to have fun and will put as much time into a relationship as I will. I don't have any kids but I have a bunch of nieces and nephews. I love children and even work with children. I work for a non profit and love my job!
27, Georgiana, ALI am honest, straight forward and caring person. I am calm and patient and would not be suited to an excitable man and will also like to have a honest and caring man as my partner
66, Birmingham, ALI draw strength from my faith, family, and friends. I enjoy and love children and adolescents and was blessed by my work as a school counselor. I have also been the owner of a small business, which presented unique challenges! Currently, I volunteer with Hand in Paw, a non-profit organization that provides animal-assisted therapy to school students, hospital patients, nursing home residents, etc. I also serve as a tour guide for Children's of Alabama Hospital -- lots of interesting facts and figures to share with tour guests that I'm still learning. Am on the Service Team of the Mary, Woman of Faith Chapter of Magnificat in Birmingham. (Magnificat is dedicated to the Blessed Mother and is an international ministry to Catholic women.) The Service Team plans a meal four times each year for the ladies of the diocese. A Catholic speaker shares her inspirational testimony during the meal, and it's also a time of fellowship and praise and worship for the meal guests. Planning and providing a Magnificat Meal four times per year is like throwing a quarterly wedding -- lots of hard work and time and bunches of details -- but so worth it to bring honor and glory to Our Lady. I always have a book on hand and am either reading or listening to at least one book most days. Many but not all of my favorite reads are fictional and pretty lightweight. Read the heavyweights in college. Most cherished books in my library were written by Pat Conroy. Collect signed first editions -- working on reading all of them lightweight or not.
34, Hanceville, ALA mommy to 3 who is currently pursuing my degree in community health and human services. Pretty simple girl who loves Jesus, my kiddos, and life. My Catholic faith is important to me and I am working on completing the annulment process.
36, Mobile, ALShy-ish, bookish, know-it-all in search of conversational sparring partner possessed of wit, charm, a swoon-worthy smile, and solid Catholic faith. It's probably worth knowing that I am neurotic and highly strung; I am a maximizer who dearly longs to become a satisficer; and my taste in wine is like my humor -- very dry. I am still a fairly recent convert, and I still have a lot to learn about the rhythms of a Catholic life. I am moving to South Carolina for my work (college professor) this summer, so I won't be in Mobile much longer. My cat is more beautiful than most all other cats. I think the word "armpit" is gross. While I enjoy cooking, I firmly believe popcorn is a perfectly decent dinner. Jokes about either theology or Shakespeare are the funniest. Whatever song or movie you were about to reference, sorry, I probably don't know it. But I probably *have* watched more murder mysteries than you have. My goals for the next year include these: (1) to grow a thing and keep it alive; (2) to read for pleasure every week; (3) to get an article published and a book proposal drafted; (4) to build a thing that won't fall apart; (5) to dare myself to become more open to meeting new people and building community.
47, Mobile, ALMy name is Lee and I live in Mobile, AL. I am a Catholic convert who came into the church in 2011. I fell in love with the Catholic faith through a series of unexpected events and I have a great conversion story to share. I'm excited to continue growing in my Catholic faith through Mass and Adoration, and in meeting others who wish to do the same. Whether it's friendship or something more which blossoms here, it's a win-win endeavor.

31, Birmingham, ALI am a fun-loving person with a great sense of humor. I am an introvert and I may come off as shy and quiet at first but that's before you get to know me. I love learning about new things (new cultures, new places, meeting new people). I am pretty adventurous but I have not had may opportunities to be adventurous yet since I have been so focused on school. Currently, I am looking forward to graduating with my PhD and of course, developing a friendship with someone who I will eventually get married to and meeting new people. My mom and two of my aunts have been the most influential people in my life; they have always encouraged me to keep striving to achieve my educational goals. One of my aunts is the first person I go to if I have any issues outside of school. She imparts wisdom on every single topic in life. Prayer has always been extremely important because it was stressed on in my family. No matter what the situation is, we pray and we keep praying. I enjoy watching shows on Netflix, going to the movies, traveling (I try to travel to at least one new place each year), shopping, going to festivals, sight seeing, working out, hanging out one on one or with small groups of friends.
