I am a Native New Yorker now living in Alaska (since 1974) and loving it. Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Philippines 1965-67). Have been around the world, once. College Graduate. Attended Catholic schools through high school, taught by Amityville Dominicans. I think I have a good sense of humor, and would value the same in a match. Married once, late in life, and recently widowed. I am independent, love the outdoors--e.g., camping, fishing, rv-ing. I also love animals, and at the present time have a calico cat. Now all I need is a gingham dog. I like to garden, both vegetables and flowers. Music and books are passions of mine. I like to cook, and I do enjoy a mixed drink or wine on occasion. I am frugal but not cheap. I am more a "Mary" than a "Martha". I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. Family and close friends are very important to me. I am in relatively good health and try to live a healthy lifestyle. I am hoping to find a companion to celebrate our golden years together, but am not in a hurry to jump into a relationship.

I am an adventuous person-- love to travel, camp, hike and experience new things. I am very passionate about photography and have a great love of animals. Although I do enjoy quiet time at home, I often want to go out and do something in my free time. I just celebrated 19 years with my company and have moved all over the country with them. The west coast is like coming home so although I am onboard with relocating, I have no interest in leaving the West Coast. I recently moved back out here after being in the mid west for 24 years.

I am passionate about my children. They are funny and loving and bring me a lot of joy. Since I am not native to Alaska, my community is my adopted family who takes care of me. I couldn't do it without them. I enjoy the outdoors, in camping, hiking, fishing, skiing, gardening and reading. I am a huge music fan , so there is usually music playing somewhere in my house/car/office.

Heyyyy! My name is Caitlin. Currently, I live in Alaska but hail from the Bluegrass state. I love a good Netflix binge but also enjoy hiking and camping. I'm nerdy, love a good meme and pun jokes are best jokes. Humor is a huge part of life and love and I enjoy laughing and making others laugh :D I love to travel, because I am a cliche, but really though travel has been an important part of my life and career. I'm shy but like meeting new people---so any questions just ask :)

I enjoy the blessings that God gives us and giving back to others. Enjoy attending Mass and volunteering. Like the outdoors, landscaping and photography.

    48, Anchorage, AK
I am passionate about church, family and the outdoors. I need to be outdoors everyday, just walking the dog, bicycling, skiing or canoeing. God made a beautiful world for us and we need to get out and appreciate it. I enjoy volunteering in my community to stay connected, and in other countries also. I enjoy spending time with my parents and children. My children are almost grown and it is great to see them becoming more independent and grown up. One is in last year of high school and one in college. We have a huge extended family and it is so fun when we have reunions. I am German Catholic, with roots in a small German farming community in the midwest, although I was born and raised in Alaska. We were able to meet with 23 extended family members in Hawaii last year for my parents 50th anniversary. It was a special time to appreciate the family and blessings that we have. I am quiet sometimes, talkative sometimes I am a good listener...

My Name is Ashley Ann and I am from Alaska! I'm most passionate about Midwifery, Travel, and God. The most influential experiences I have had in my life had been while traveling away from home. Depending on the day, I enjoy writing or going out for dancing or outdoor activities, zip lining or hiking, etc.

Hi! I'm a 20-something college student living in the Last Frontier. I tend to be a bit shy at first but I'm definitely not once you get to know me. I'm a writer, not a talker so I gather my thoughts better in written form (hence this super long bio). I have an odd/nerdy sense of humour; I also enjoy using semicolons and I'm a big fan of the Oxford comma. I'm currently working towards a Bachelors in English and Anthropology (I'm nearing the end of my senior year). I've applied to a few grad schools but I haven't really figured out what I want to do/what I'm called to do with my life yet. I love martial arts and I practice Tae Kwon Do. I try to go to class at least 2 times a week. I also dabble in playing the piano. I really like Star Wars (although I wasn't a very big fan of Episode 7), the Stargate series and Harry Potter. I'm also an avid reader (see English major) and I love distopian ficiton. One of my favorites is The Raven's Gift by Don Reardon. I highly recommend it if you like zombie(ish) distopia (it's also set in an Alaskan village and written by one of my professors, but that's just an added bonus). I'm also passionate about living green, preserving the environment, and keeping trash out of landfills; as a side note, Alaska is not a great place for that! My family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them (I still live with my mom in an attempt to finish my Undergrad without any debt). I'm the oldest an I definitely have a bit (my siblings would say "a lot") of a Type A personality. I commercial fished for a few years and I LOVED it. My dream is to have a career where I can work a "real" job in the winter and fish a set-net site (probably in Bristol Bay, AK) in the summer.

My life is beautiful and full. I have a beautiful waterfront property outside of Juneau Alaska with a nice house my son's and I built. They built the shell. I've done everything else. I'm very capable and handy with tools and equipment. This place is where I grew up and my dream to retire to. I don't want a "relationship ". What I'm interested in is someone who might want to come to Alaska for the summer and help me around the place. It's a long shot but I'd rather have a good Catholic around so the prayer time and conversation can be matched.

I enjoy the outdoors and exploring new adventures. Enjoy a sense of humor, and find that if you can laugh at yourself, then things may not be so bad after all. Life is too short, have fun, live, make friends. I am looking for the gentleman that love's the outdoor adventure, from hiking, four wheeling, fishing, hunting, camping, motorcycles, swimming and just exploring! I would want a best buddy and friend to share the journey Alaska has to offer. I can also clean up real nice and enjoy the magnificent Operas we have here. I enjoy dressing up with my special someone and having a great meal and conversation. The summer nights go on forever and the winter season gets pretty cold. Not to many men can handle all that. It can be to much. My Faith is real strong and I definitely would want my buddy to be a big part of that as well. I also have a huge family so if that is something you shy away from, then we wouldn't be a good match. Family means the world to me. I thank you kindly for stopping by and visiting with this sourdough. (A term only used in Alaska) Hehehe

I am part of Saint Andrews parish in Eagle River. I was born and raised Catholic but wasn't confirmed until 2014. When I'm not cooking professionally in Anchorage in the summer I try to do a different excursion every month and hike every peak I can. But sometimes I just sit because I'm tired :) And winter I spend a lot of time cross country skiing volunteering with horses and entertaining my animals. I travel for reasons of culture and architecture and of course food. I was born and raised in Southern California but have remained in Alaska for the last six years. I'm looking for a spouse not somebody just to date otherwise I wouldn't of joined something like this. Our community is really small. Thought it would be worth a shot.

I am an out going person like to have fun but can stay home and relax. I consider myself a caring dependable trustworthy individual. I like to travel, dine out , movies, dancing, love sports but not a fanatic to the point of staying in to watch a sporting event. I consider family and family values to be very important to me I believe a strong family is the foundation into building a successful life together. I am someone who likes to have fun but also spend a relaxing night at home. One more thing I think communication is a must in a relationship without it you have nothing! I am looking for someone who enjoys life and embodies some of the qualities I have listed above! I've worked hard in my life to become the very best person I can be. I'm not perfect (yet!), but I'm not bad. I know who I am - I'm confident, happy, kind and genuine. I have a lot of energy.
