26, Kaktovik, AKI'm a preschool teacher on a small island in northern Alaska. Due to my location I am a long distance Catholic, the nearest church is more than 100 miles away! I try to maintain a strong faith knowing that someday I'll be able to resume regular Masses, until then I try to view it as chance to grow in my personal faith much as the religious hermits of old... I really enjoy writing and painting but also love the amazing outdoors! I tend to lean towards more disorganized but have been paring down on the amount of 'stuff' that I own. I am a cat person but have had pet dogs as well. My favorite author is C.S. Lewis. I prefer family films to most other movies but will go for the occasional action/ adventure film. Background: When I first started college I was going for a degree in theology. That period of my life was my darkest spiritually speaking. All of a sudden faith wasn't in my heart, it was in my head. I even stopped attending Sunday mass. After changing majors I worried about what I had done until a FOCUS conference where my heart was touched in a very profound and painful manner during Adoration. After Confession I felt a lightness I had not had since childhood. I am a more soft-spoken individual at first, but once I know someone I'll open up, I feel that listening is one of my strong suits. I love traveling, I've done long road trips since childhood and think nothing of an eight hour car trip! There is so much of the world to see and so many wonderful peoples and cultures to meet that I can never stay put for long! This past summer I spent seven weeks in Europe going from Portugal to Poland in order to attend World Youth Day. I travelled solo for the first five weeks and had an absolutely amazing time visiting Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Vatican City, Austria, Slovakia, and Poland. I had a rough idea of places to see but also made up a lot of it as I went. There were misadventures to be sure - but now I miss the spontaneity of never being exactly sure what was going to happen next.
33, Nome, AKI am blessed to be a Catholic convert; my Christmation was May 1st, 2011 (Divine Mercy Sunday) converting from the United Methodist Church into a Maronite rite parish. Practicing my faith is a part of my life daily, I attend Mass at least once a week and pray daily. My values are very traditional and I'm looking for a man with similar faith. I'm a quiet, sensitive, girl who enjoys my faith, my family, my profession, and my friends. When comfortable I can be silly, etc. but it takes a while to get there. Cooking, sewing, reading, and home arts are some of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy hiking, swimming, enjoy both the beach and the mountains. When with friends, I like watching sports, movies, art, etc. Each day I marvel at the glorious world Our Father created and at the sacrifice Jesus made to save us from the sin we destroy it with.
35, Homer, AKI grew up in Southern California and moved to Homer Alaska about six years ago. The mountains and the outdoors are breathtaking. I never get tired of them. I enjoy hiking and getting outside whenever I can. I am a good cook as well as a bookworm. I love geeking out over a good story or tempting people to try dishes that they have never had before. I am absolutely a nerd . I enjoy anime, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who and all the rest. You may catch me strutting around town in jeans and my favorite Justice League t-shirt. (Yes, I'm afraid it's really THAT bad lol ) My faith is the focal point of my life. I love my Savior and our Blessed Mother Mary very much. I am involved in the local parish (St John the Baptist). I have been enjoying being one of the faith formation teachers and recently finished preparing several students for Confirmation. God has been SO very good to me
25, Sitka, AKHeyyyy! My name is Caitlin. I'm a solid Ravenclaw, which probably tells you more than you want to know...Currently, I'm living the island life in Southeast Alaska, but was raised in the Bluegrass State. I'm a bibliophile and all-around nerd -- I didn't choose the nerd life, but I do enjoy discussing Doctor Who to anyone who will listen. I may (or may not) have a small Netflix addiction, but not to worry, I love the outdoors and hiking, which is good because I live in a rainforest. I enjoy the finer things in life like a well-aged bourbon, reading, and the smell of fresh cut grass. Humor is a huge part of life and love and I enjoy laughing and making others laugh :D I love to travel, because I am a cliche, but really travel has been an important part of my life and career. I'm shy but like meeting new people---so any questions just ask :)
25, Anchorage, AKGreetings from Alaska! My name is Kathy. I consider myself 100% Alaskan, even though I haven't been born here. In the thirteen years of my time here, I've learned to embrace the cold winters and enjoy the warm summers. I like to go fishing, swimming, and snow machining. I've always enjoyed drawing. It is one of my favorite hobbies. I particularly enjoy sketching portraits. I like good movies and music, especially classic rock. I also like to make costumes for fun events, parties and conventions. It always makes me feel creative watching my costumes come to life.
19, Juneau, AKI am a young lady who loves God, and I find that I love to praise God through song; and Art, as well as through the conventional methods like prayer and mass. I'm a huge fan of musical theater and choral music, and I love DIY projects! You can usually catch me reading a book, drawing, or painting. I've been working as a choreographer for a community theater, but currently am working as a nanny, which is great because I love kids! My greatest wish in life is to be a loving wife and mother, and to have a large family, because as I said before, I love children very much! I'm thinking of training to be a Doula or a Midwife, but I haven't quite decided yet. I know that I'm young, but I've always been told that I have an old soul. I live in a relatively small town, with a relatively small church community, so meeting new people and getting to talk about my faith isn't something that I get to do a lot, which may be one of the reasons I'm on this sight! if you want to talk, or ask any questions, feel free to send me a message!
32, Fairbanks, AKHello! Here's a bit about me. If you'd like to know more, or to tell me about yourself, please feel free to send a message. Men really need prayers nowadays, so you have mine!

24, Wasilla, AKI was born and raised in Wasilla and have a sincere love and passion for Alaska as well as the great outdoors. My family and friends are extremely important to me and continue to play a fundamental role in my life on a daily basis. I grew up competing a multitude of different sports by which gymnastics and diving were the highlights of my young athletic career. I have a passion for learning and taking advantage of new opportunities that come my way. I am very goal-driven and work hard to accomplish my own personal ambitions. I would love to one day find a truly committed life partner with whom I could raise a family with and tackle life adventures. I enjoy running, working out, and wandering around in the wilderness. I like to dance and love to sing along to country music. In my spare time, I like to relax, bake, smile, laugh, and find new things to do.
18, Fairbanks, AKI am an Alaskan girl who loves the outdoors. I grew up in a log cabin and a partial subsistence lifestyle with 10 siblings. I am very petite but I am still very active. I am looking forward to my life, hoping to be a mother and have my own family. I grew up in a big family and loved it, I want many children of my own. I love to hike and camp and shoot guns. Anything that takes me outdoors I love.
25, Kenai, AKI am 25 and looking for someone to have a friendship/relationship with. I am a little shy but once I get going I can talk your head off. I love reading, traveling and almost every kind of music. I have never been a rugged outdoors person but I do enjoy nature. My family has always been an important part of my life, and I hope the person I find has just as good of a relationship with their family. I have a strong love for my faith and I again hope to share that with someone. I work in the medical field, which means I can sometimes work long hours some days. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I play the violin, read and occasionally come up with some art project to complete. I have done some traveling abroad, which I absolutely loved. Although traveling out of the country is awesome, I also enjoy a road trip to the Homer beach just as well. Overall, I would describe myself as laid back and easy going. I have never been a huge partier but I enjoy an evening out now and again.
