75, Little Rock, ARRetired from work recently and am enjoying getting to do those things that I have always thought would be fun to experience. I live in a patio home and have a pet cat named Bella. Enjoy playing tennis, traveling, playing the piano and learning new things. I am very strong in my faith and independence.

70, Little Rock, ARThe most difficult part: describing yourself to a computer screen. I am an ex-flight attendant for American Airlines whose real calling was Art Director for several ad agencies, then Creative Director for a Time Warner publishing company for 19 years. I am a soft-spoken, gentle, tenderhearted lady. I am quite fragile on the inside and work hard at not letting it show on the outside. I am a super organized, clean-freak perfectionist and am also working hard at loosening up a bit. I love painting, am a voracious reader, and love beautiful music that reaches the soul. I enjoy movies, books, cooking (with someone), staying in shape and time outdoors with the sun on my face and wind in my hair. I love to laugh and think most things are amusing. Physically speaking, I am 5' 3", 120 lbs., reddish blonde hair, green eyes, and intend to keep all of those. Of course there is more, but this is enough to begin to paint a picture of myself.
73, Fort Smith, ARLooking forward to retiring soon and having more time to travel the world and the US. I have traveled, but there is so much more to see and explore. I am family oriented and enjoy spending time with my family.
64, Ratcliff, ARI have six children...all 21+, and a small school. Having been divorced, I have held myself to the belief that there are two parts to the Scripture about divorce...that is, if one must divorce, ok, but then you can't remarry. I am not sure now. Trying to listen to what God wants of me, constantly. It seemed I was nudged yesterday, over and over, to check into this site. Loving another person deeply and letting oneself be loved by another would be a wonderful thing and I see that, perhaps, it is one aspect of life that God would like for me to have. I don't know...I probably said that all wrong. I took that silly temperament test. I don't agree with it ...much. One of the first things it said in the analysis was that I was usually quick to say no. Good grief! I get myself in over my head because I can't say no! So I don't think the temperament test is a good analysis for anything. Plus, who is to say that people who take the test are honest? Anyway, there is my argumentative opinion. :)
75, Eureka Springs, ARI enjoy reading. I read from 3 to 6 books a week, both religious works, history, mysteries & science fiction. I spend from 1 - 3 hours each day on a Catholic Forum website sharing faith and beliefs, seeking more knowledge and chatting with online Catholic friends from around the world. I attend Mass only 1 - 2 times a week lately, partly due to winter weather, and partly due to aging. I am a Eucharistic Minister (Extraordinary Minister) and sometimes Usher or Server. I also schedule the Mass Ministers to assist at Mass at the Parish Center Masses at my Parish. I enjoy going out to dinner after Saturday Vigil Masses, and like to also go to lunch once or twice a week with friends. I like to travel. I love flowers, but the deer ate all those in my yard. I would be willing to sell my home and move elsewhere, but like a stable environment. I have a small 10 lb. dog, who is 4 years old and very friendly and loving. I have had dogs most of my life. I also like cats and birds, but am mildly allergic to cat hair. Kept one cat for 15 years. I have a good sense of humor, enjoy good jokes. I enjoy talking to people, and am not shy, although often nervous when with new people. I do not like arguments at all, and believe that disagreements can be settled without arguments. I do enjoy a good conversation, a little food and a glass of wine. Attending weekly Mass is important to me, also Holy Days. I like people who are honest, friendly and have a good sense of humor. I also look for people who are trustworthy and dependable. I believe in keeping promises. I like to help others, & feel everyone should try to do so. I respect the privacy of others, and expect them to respect mine. I sometimes need time to myself, & feel others should have there own quiet times or their activities without feeling they must include me. I do not like lies, but will respect those who do not wish to discuss private things in their lives, & expect the same. I enjoy sharing activities, meals, humor, drives and good conversations. I like to cook, but like to share that activity, as well as the clean up! I enjoy going out to eat & trying new places and foods.
61, Bryant, ARThings I look forward to: Summer, after Christmas sales, postcards, losing those last 10 pounds, making that last car payment, Easter season, and dessert. Influential people and moments: A 30 day trip I took, by myself, when I was 27 to Great Britain. Travelled around by train all over England, South Wales and Scotland. Blessed to see my grandfather for only a 3rd time in my life and to meet relatives I'd only heard of. Travelling alone (included a short trip to Paris) I learned a lot about being resourceful, independent, importance of planning and being punctual. In my 20's, I worked for a railroad and transferred to a small town where I met a wonderful Catholic family, inquired, joined RCIA and converted. When I later married and had children, that couple became my children's godparents. Leisure time usually finds me doing various projects: hitting thrift shops to find things I can repurpose, stripping/painting old furniture, sewing, jewelry making, lot of craft making, photography and reading non-fiction.
70, Little Rock, ARHello..... I'm a teacher by trade, and in doing trhat, carry around a lot of hats. A teacher must be many things to her students, there's a hat for each occaision....nurse, friend, teacher, confidant, etc. In my leisure time, I like to explore new places, dabble in the arts, go to plays and movies. Photography and nature are items in life I enjoy. I often take pictures of God's creations and then change them by using apps on my phone. I have taken up watercolor. Josh Groban, music by the masters, art by the artists... All fit into my lifestyle. Not fond of hot spicy foods, but enjoy Mediterranean cuisine. Love those noodles and spaghetti too! Chinese food along with Italian and seafood are my top choices. My parents are by far the most influential people in my life, but teachers through the years and the Good Lord and His teachings are knitted and woven into my life as well. I want to be open to what God has in store for me and I wish to do His will to the best of my ability with whatever time I have left. If He wishes for me friendship or marriage I pray I am able to do my best with His plan. I wish to want and accept willingly whatever He asks of me during my lifetime.. He knows best. I pray He will continue to bless me with the gifts He intends me to have and experience and embrace with an open heart any and everything He sends my way and accept all He asks of me with a joyful heart.

If you don't have a smile, I'll give you one. I don't smoke. I am financially okay. I love flowers. I would rather have flowers than anything. Even if they are picked out of the yard.
