Bottom line, I'm on here hoping to find what everyone else is looking for. I bring a lot to the table. I hope this doesn't sound arrogant, but I am confident in who I am and what I bring. I'm Latina, educated, never married, with no children, which nowadays in the Latin culture is practically unheard of! I'm a hopeless romantic with a heart of gold. All you have to do is reach out to me and we will take it from there. Happy hunting to you all!

I am most passionate about social justice, and creating a better world for my two kids. I love my profession as a "people's lawyer" and I am at peace knowing that my job is not a means to make money; rather, it is my calling. I love to help people, I enjoy lifiting weights, hiking, traveling (especially to Latin American countries, Spain and Italy, as I speak Spanish and understand some Italian). I would love to find someone who shares my values, who has a sharp wit, and who is ready to fall in love. I am not a traditional sort of Catholic, but suffice it to say that I enjoy my parish community now more than ever.

My vision is to form a loving, growing, sacramental, grace-filled and connecting relationship that will be be forming into a marriage, bring life to each other and to the world. Dorothy Day and her life had a deep impact on me as a Catholic who love her faith and social impact. Her passion for justice, compassion, holiness and hospitality had me excited and moved. Shusaku Endo's work introduced me into a world of great storytelling and deep faith in the mist of complex dilemmas and journeys of the characters. I make time with friends and family. I attend local live music and spoken word. I love to cook food and eat it. Hiking is a great opportunity to relax, be with nature and exercise. • Traci, 34 from Carson, CA
    34, Carson, CA
I am close to my family and my faith is important to me. Also, I am passionate about life and I strongly believe that we should live this one life true to ourselves and to be able to say "I'm glad I did that", rather than "I wish I did that". I love the outdoors and I love travelling. Currently, I am backpacking in Europe. When I was in Rome, I was fortunate to be able to recieve the Pope's blessing at St. Peter's. I am looking forward to going to World Youth Day in Krakow this July. I have been travelling since March and am so glad to have made this choice in my life. When I am home, I hike often, love camping, and enjoy riding my road bike. I am looking to meet a good person who is as enthusiastic about life, someone who is intelligent and caring, and also someone who can appreciate watching tv and being lazy sometimes.

  • Mary, 44 from Thousand Oaks, CA
    44, Thousand Oaks, CA
Hi, I'm Mary and I have to say I'm new to any type of online dating and a bit apprehensive about the whole concept. But, I am willing to try and hope for a positive experience. I am a single mom of three daughters, ages 21, 12, and 8. They are the most important part of my life and I am trying so hard to be a good mom and role model to them. I was married in 2002 and my husband left us just about 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary. Needless to say it has been a difficult 4 years. That being said, I am so ready to move forward with life, which never seems to go the way we have planned it would. I guess that is where faith comes in, although I still have a hard time accepting that. Our plans and God's plan differ a lot, it seems. I do struggle to accept that fact. I was a stay-at-home mom for about 8 years, and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 2012. Getting back to work and finding a job to support us has proved difficult, but I am starting a new job and hope this will be the one that works out until it is time to retire many years from now. I'm not quite sure how to "introduce" myself. I guess with putting out in the open what I hope to do in life from here on out and what my expectations or hopes are in a relationship. I do believe that a strong friendship is first and foremost in a good relationship. I also believe that each person needs to put an effort into getting to know and respect what their partner needs and wants in their life. When children are involved it can certainly complicate a relationship, but I believe they are worth it! I also need to be with someone who loves dogs...I love and respect animals, and that is something I want in a partner as well. I have three dogs, one for each of my girls. They keep us laughing to say the least! Things I would like to do over the next few years are to travel to different states and countries...I've always wanted to do that, although it's a bit more scary these days. I guess that is an opening into political views and what is happening in our world today. I will just put out there that I have been raised as a Democrat and a liberal democrat at that. Meeting someone with the same political views would be an amazing thing as we are Catholics here.

"I am warm, intelligent and possess a rather cheeky and wicked sense of humour. I am both passionate and practical by nature." Enjoy dissecting a game of AFL or discussing any sport with which I am familiar. I actually think a sports commentator would have been the ideal job for me. I also enjoy going to art galleries or seeing a good play so I guess you could say my interests are varied.
