63, Clovis, CAI am a recently retired educator. I spent 38 years in a very successful career that I both loved and was passionate about. Going from 50-60 hors per week to being retired has been difficult, but I don't miss having to get up at 4:30 am! I'm working on new interests and passions while maintaining friendships and connections with my career colleagues. I love to travel and enjoy going to dinner, but am equally happy "settled in" for the evening. I attend mass every week and my faith is very important to me. I am a die hard SF 49er fan and also love to watch Fresno State (my alumni) play football and basketball. While I am emotionall and financially self sufficient, there is nothing better than sharing life's great experiences with someone special. Let's start a conversation.

My parents will be celebrating 56 years of wedded bliss. I enjoy spending my leisure time with friends & family, farmers market, social events, cycling, walking my dogs, stargazing, walks along the beach or a trail walk in the mountains.
63, Clovis, CAI am a recently retired educator. I spent 38 years in a career I both love an am passionate about. Going from 50-60 hours per week to being retired has been difficult, but I'm starting to settle in and am enjoying not having to get up at 4:30 am. I am ready to find new interests and passions, while still staying connected to my previous work. I love to travel, read, and dabble in home decorating. Used to a good cook, but kind of out of practice. Mostly make salads , veggies and any kind of grilled meat or fish for myself. Looking for a professional man, either still working or retired for dining, travel, or just hanging out. MUST have a sense of humor and posses the qualities of honesty, affection, and compassion. Oh yes, and be able to write and spell. LOL. I am a die hard SF 49 er fan , and love to watch my alumni (Fresno state) play football and basketball. Having cats is a deal breaker, since I am allergic to them. Let's start a conversation.
63, Clovis, CAI was married for 32 years to a very devoted Catholic and intelligent man. Since he was the "smart one" in our relationship, he challenged me daily! I am the practical one, but trying to stretch myself out of my comfort zone. I am now a widow. Both he and I came from very loving families, and have tried to share that part of us with others. I enjoy going to the beach, walking, hiking, kayaking, camping with my boys, and reading. I like to cook and get together with friends.
74, Clovis, CAMy name is Stella and I live in the Central Valley of Fresno/Clovis areas. I enjoy meeting new people who are upbeat, like good conversation, laugh and have a sense of humor. This past year I have been perfecting dancing by taking ballroom or smooth dancing lessons. So, music is part of my life and it brings me much joy. On Sundays, I sing with our little choir and help praise the Lord in song. What do I look forward to? Being with friends at socials, dinners, and theatre productions. Because of my love of music, I often attend the Fresno Philharmonic, Community Band Concerts or local musical productions. I have been known to attend the Opera, but not for awhile. My creativity can be found in my sewing of clothes and quilts. Two years ago I won 5 ribbons in the Big Fresno Fair. For outdoors activities, I have backpacked in the Sierras, Yellowstone and the Rockies. Therefore, I love the nearby mountains and lakes. Also, I like going to the beach, especially since I lived in San Diego. In another life, I helped my husband fly and navigate our Beech Debonaire. Because I am widowed, many of these outdoor passions are not part of my present life, but they could be again with the right person. The individual who most influenced my life was my former husband, who showed me I could just about do anything with proper training and time. My twelve years of Catholic education was invaluable to me and helped me achieve an excellent college education. I graduated from California State University Fresno in Recreation Admin. and in Gerontology and worked in both disciplines in Fresno and in San Diego County. Presently, I am retired, but volunteer in my church as a Eucharistic Minister and as EM at St. Agnes Hospital. I find that being bi-lingual (Spanish) has many benefits for myself and those I meet, especially when I make hospital visits. I do have grown children and grandchildren nearby and they are very important to my well-being. I live on my own and keep a neat house. Cooking is fun, so I often entertain friends and family for special dinners. These same people think I am a pretty good cook. I look forward to meeting a special someone who has similar values, attends mass and likes to go out to dinner, theatre/musicals or just sit and visit, maybe go to the mountains and picnic and enjoy life together.
42, Clovis, CAI used to be an introvert, however, I have been able to break out of the shell and excel in any situation that may be thrown my way and still keep my sense of humor. I have great intuition and can carry a conversation on any topic with anyone at any time. I am a classy lady that has a retro vintage fashion sense fused of with a contemporary life style. I have learned to love and respect myself in order to be able to love, respect and have compassion for others. I live my life by example in order to teach my daughters our Catholic faith and to be better human beings and make a difference in this world too. My entire drive is fueled by the love I have for them and the person I aspire to become for God. Therefore, for the first time I am really investing myself in learning as much as I can about my Catholic Faith and putting God in the first place. I am an avid supporter of education and higher learning. The brain was made to learn and constantly reshape our process of thinking. It does not necessary means a college degree, some of the smartest people in the planet did not possess one and still changed the world. I am an intellectual with thirst for knowledge and can take on a challenge, as long as the challenge is meant produce a positive outcome. This is one of my favorite quotes: Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn. Benjamin Franklin I want to inspire, mentor, and change this world one act of kindness at the time, pay it forward. I had a wonderful mentor that taught what it is to be loved unconditionally and expect absolutely nothing in return, his love changed me. I have a story that will eventually be told and by doing so I know it will change and inspired others too. I have a dream that I may be able to motivate others to do the same in a no so distant future. And so I have discovered myself with the power and responsibilities of being me. Life is a roller-coaster but as long as I let God be in the driver seat I know my life is as it is meant to be.
58, Clovis, CAI appreciate the gift of life and strive to enjoy living life in the present moment. I am blessed in many areas of my life and give thanks to God every day for my life and all of the blessings, as well as the lessons that give me wisdom and strength. I start and end my day with prayer. I enjoy cultural arts and saw Shen Yun last year. I like to travel and have been fortunate to have visited many places. I enjoy taking road trips and going to the coast to see the ocean and smell the salt air. I grew up in Southern California and took those beautiful beaches for granted :-) I have not explored too much of northern California yet, and want to do so. I have only lived here a few years and concentrated on my building my career. I have been to beautiful Yosemite several times, and would like to see the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. I enjoy both the finer things in life as well as the simple basic pleasures. I am at ease in blue jean occasions and in dressing up to go to a symphony or fine arts events. I am open to relocating once I retire from my career here. I worked very hard to obtain the management position I have at a very prestigious children's hospital, and I really like where I work and the people I work with. Truly the best place I have ever worked and I am happy with it!
22, Clovis, CAI am a kind and loving person. I like to help out at my churches EDGE group. In my free time I like to be with family and friends and I also like to crochet.
