67, Auburn, CAI love life, my faith and relationship with God, and want to experience it with someone that I can love and cherish forever. There is so much of life yet to experience and I am looking forward to new experiences & building a faithful and active relationship with the right man if this be God's will for me. After having taught school for 28 years, teaching children with learning disabilities, I now own a catholic book store and love sharing stories with customers and being surrounded by my faith. Some customers have become good friends and greatly influenced my faith journey. Teaching has always been my career passion and as I have retired from public school teaching, I continue to tutor children with learning disabilities and am a catechism teacher for First Holy Communion aged children. I've always cherished my musical background that began in the fourth grade playing cello in the school orchestra. I went on to receive a Bachelor of Music degree and play in the Auburn symphony for a couple of years. I especially enjoyed playing in a quartet at weddings and other special events. I work out almost everyday at my gym and love road biking, hiking along the american river, swimming in tahoe, barbequeing on my new 4-burner grill, and of course, walking along a beach on a warm summer night with that special man. Oh, and I love football! I have been to couple of 49er games, one at the new stadium. I sure hope they are better this year. I enjoy reading books related to my faith, biographies and other nonfiction books. I especially enjoy preparing lessons for catechism or tutoring. The program that I teach in my church, called "The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd," is such a fantastic way to help children develop a lifelong relationship with their "Good Shepherd." The materials were all made by us catechists and there is lots of planning involved. Its all so worth it.
56, Sacramento, CAI am a very devout Catholic woman, and consider myself a "traditionalist".I love the beauty and the reverence of the Traditional Latin Rite and have been attending it for close to thirteen years now.I am active in my parish and take my faith very seriously and hope to some day find a companion who has similar interests.Traits that I consider important are integrity and a love of animals, a good work ethic and Catholic family values, attending mass regularly and an active interest in ones salvation is a must.I am fun and funny and kind of a dork.Health and fitness are important to me.
56, Lancaster, CAI am mother of three beautiful children, all grown. Work full time, when not working gardening and working on things around home. Ride my bike and walk couple times a week. 32, Lincoln, CAMy name is Vanesa. I was raised in a very traditional Catholic home and my family and my faith are very important to me. As a cradle Catholic i have found that its easy for us to take advantage of the blessing we have available in the sacraments of the Church. It is through being a sponsor for RCIA and meeting many evangelist who have become close family friend that i have come to a deeper appreciation for the Catholic church. In my spare time i also enjoy watching tv. I love shows like NCIS and Scorpion. I am a big movie buff. I love everything from My Fair Lady and The Notebook to Ironman and Independence Day and everything in between. I also love to read books, mainly romance and the classics.
23, Monterey, CAMy nickname is Vikki or Viks. I'm passionately Catholic and I love pretty much everything in the spectrum of traditional to charismatic Catholicism. I love to defend and discuss the faith and issues of life and morals. I'm a problem solver and an easygoing person. I'm not a fan of competing but I do enjoy being challenged. I'm the kind of person who doesn't have favorites; I either like something or I don't. I've traveled a few times in my life and I'm quite the adventurer/explorer when it comes to new places. I'm a lover of board games and card games. One of the things I like to do most is laugh until I cry.
43, Rancho Santa Margarita, CAMy faith is what I live by. I am very spiritual and seek God in everything I do. I am blessed to work at a Catholic School and live and work in my faith every day. I have two beautiful daughters 6 and 9, who share my passion in life. I enjoy walking around the lake, singing at mass, dancing around the living room with my kids, reading spiritual books, exercising, cooking and living in the present moment. I have learned that the three most important things in life are Faith, Hope and Love.
32, Watsonville, CAI am passionate about my faith, music(playing the piano and singing in the church choir) and helping others. I am looking forward to the most in meeting a man with the same faith of being a Catholic and who would have a big heart. I would say that my parents and grandparents have been the most influential people in my life, having grown up Catholic and being the daughter and granddaughter of farmers/ranchers in Watsonville. In my leisure time I enjoy bowling, reading, watching popular new movies, spending time with family and friends, walking the beach, and taking salsa and ballroom dance lessons.
53, Twin Peaks, CAI am a cradle Catholic, but I had a real conversion to the faith when I was 33 and someone asked me a question about church teachings that I could not answer. I proceeded to educate myself about the Catholic Faith and fell in love with our Church. I taught RCIA and Confirmation for quite a few years and have found that I have a gift for explaining our faith to others. God's impact on my life is truly a blessing and while my life has not been an easy one, I have stayed faithful to my Church and hopeful in my future. About me I would say that I am a devoted person. I am devoted to God, Family and Country, in that order. I like to read - pretty much anything. I stay up on world events and politics. I enjoy the ocean, riding bikes, roller skating, swimming, walking and talking (at the same time). I exercise regularly and eat well - I'm not a vegetarian or glucose intolerant - I bake my own bread and the worlds best pizza according to my daughter in law. I love thanksgiving and Christmas and my Christmas Trees are so beautiful they take a week to decorate and I leave them up until Epiphany because they make me happy to look at. (Yes, my kids laugh at me, but I can't help it). I want to travel to every state in this wonderful country and I would love to do it as a family. I get along with my ex-husband and we are friends. Since he is the father to my children, he remains a part of my family. My kids are awesome and I have five of them and three grandchildren. I believe happiness comes from being who God wants me to be. My morals guide all of the choices that I make in life and that usually means doing the hard things.
45, Los Altos, CAI am passionate about history and humanities especially through the classical arts, dance, music, literature. I enjoy performance arts, sight-seeing, traveling etc. As a busy mother of 2 boys, I am thankful if I have any time for myself. So I would like to meet like minded activity partners who enjoy the same things, when they have time from their busy lives.
53, Los Angeles, CAI'm here because I'm most passionate about Christ and His Church. I'm passionate about my values and morality which are very traditional. I plan to take every move from Archbishop Fulton Sheen's "Three to Get Married." I enjoy eating healthy and staying fit in fun, creative, simple and low-pressure ways. My favorite place to visit is the beach / ocean. I loved the Year of Mercy that has just closed and am doing my best now to dive into Advent. People tell me that I'm very sweet, that I always take the positive outlook, and that they can sense my warmth and like my smile. A very recent personality test indicated ENFJ. Please also take a moment to view my temperament here on Catholic Match. It's been a while since I took the test and the results are still very accurate. You will learn a lot about me from it. Another fun quiz I took recently is the Gallup Strengthsfinder. My 5 themes are Belief, Positivity, Restorative, Input and Ideation. I found this very accurate at minimum to my work life/style and also would tell you a lot about me. I don't smoke, don't drink, and I am anti-drug to the max.
42, Clovis, CAI used to be an introvert, however, I have been able to break out of the shell and excel in any situation that may be thrown my way and still keep my sense of humor. I have great intuition and can carry a conversation on any topic with anyone at any time. I am a classy lady that has a retro vintage fashion sense fused of with a contemporary life style. I have learned to love and respect myself in order to be able to love, respect and have compassion for others. I live my life by example in order to teach my daughters our Catholic faith and to be better human beings and make a difference in this world too. My entire drive is fueled by the love I have for them and the person I aspire to become for God. Therefore, for the first time I am really investing myself in learning as much as I can about my Catholic Faith and putting God in the first place. I am an avid supporter of education and higher learning. The brain was made to learn and constantly reshape our process of thinking. It does not necessary means a college degree, some of the smartest people in the planet did not possess one and still changed the world. I am an intellectual with thirst for knowledge and can take on a challenge, as long as the challenge is meant produce a positive outcome. This is one of my favorite quotes: Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn. Benjamin Franklin I want to inspire, mentor, and change this world one act of kindness at the time, pay it forward. I had a wonderful mentor that taught what it is to be loved unconditionally and expect absolutely nothing in return, his love changed me. I have a story that will eventually be told and by doing so I know it will change and inspired others too. I have a dream that I may be able to motivate others to do the same in a no so distant future. And so I have discovered myself with the power and responsibilities of being me. Life is a roller-coaster but as long as I let God be in the driver seat I know my life is as it is meant to be.
