This is going to be random, like I am. I'm passionate about many things including Russian literature, foreign language, and the NFL. I like being active by going on long bike rides or hikes and playing sports, but I really don't enjoy working out for the sake of working out. Being around children makes me light up instantly. My large crazy family is very important to me.

Been on this site for awhile, just seeing where things go.... I'm still trying to sort out life and figure it out. What I look forward to the most is a happy life with someone that I can undoubtedly trust. I look forward to weekends, vacations, and days off from work. The people that have been the most influential in my life has been my family. They are always there, through the good and bad, right or wrong, they are always there. I don't have an influential experience, but I have some experiences that I won't soon forget. They are mainly trips that I have gone on. One recent experience would be my trip to the Disney studios, and touring the Disney lot. With my leisure time, I usually either, Go for a run, take a nap, read, or I get out my camera and play with it, take random pictures, or work with them in photography software. I'm not exactly sure what I am passionate about. I know there are things that I like, some things that I like a lot, for example photography. I like it, I'm pretty good at it, but I wouldn't necessarily say passionate.

The outdoors is my leisure. Being over protected as a child has made me into a person who seeks fun adventures. Traveling, camping, site seeing, etc. Don't worry. . . I only have time to do this on weekends or the National Holidays. I'm not a material girl, and I don't judge a book by it's cover. Very independent and loves to laugh and learn. I'm an educator who enjoys educating and helping people with special needs. We all have gifts and talents that need to be used in the world. This is why I tell my students, "Build what talents exist in you, and never give up!" I'm an immigrant from Panama (Central America) but raised in California my entire life, therefore Respect is number one in my book. I have a lot of morals and am really family oriented. Enjoy sports and exercise. My favorite sports to watch are NFL Football, Hockey, and Basketball. I may look small, but I like to be active, so I hope you do too.

I enjoy a perfectly crafted poem but also a dumb joke. I'm somewhat on the introverted side and not an attention-seeker, but I speak my mind and I'm generally pretty straightforward if I have something to say. Food is my love language. My family is Italian so having everyone together to eat large amounts of home cooked food is an important part of my life. I show up when I say I'm going to and I know how to merge in heavy traffic without batting an eyelash. I spent a few years living out of state and abroad and I realized that whatever exciting thing you do, life just isn't the same if your family is not around. I'm happy to be back in California....right back where I started from. (Couldn't resist.) I'm creative, a decent judge of character and have a yen for 60s fashion. (My grandma knew what was what.) I think talking on the phone is a lost art, and meeting for a coffee shouldn't be a big deal between "grown ups," as long as everyone minds their manners.

I enjoy the simple things, such as laughing uncontrollably, watching sports, enjoying the outdoors, good music, and rain! I am blessed to have a career that allows me to serve and help others in their time of need.

After moving away from Berkeley to begin a PhD in Dallas, Texas, I'm thrilled to be back in the Bay for the summer. You really do have the best food, climate, and landscape in the country! I love enjoying all of those things -- good food, wine, music, hiking -- especially when with others who enjoy them, too. When I'm not writing philosophy papers (my full-time gig), developing curricula, or coordinating events (self-employment/part-time work), I love just to explore fun neighborhoods and discover hidden gems in town. Let's see, what else could be helpful. . . . Despite the fact that I am more or less a full-time academic, I was pretty much raised outdoors (and still prefer to be there). My dad had four daughters, so he raised us under cars, in the garden, renovating houses. . . . I still enjoy it all (except mechanics -- that I would most gladly hand over). Since graduating from college, I've mainly contracted as a writer/researcher of various sorts. My first job was based in NYC with a non-governmental organization at the UN. Then I moved to Rome and worked as a ghostwriter for an international news correspondent. In 2007, I relocated to Oxford for a Master's degree in English, and during that time (the recession...ouch) I started working for a Consultant on Middle Eastern Affairs. While continuing that work, in 2011, I moved to Berkeley for Masters degrees in Philosophy and Theology. Last August, I moved to Dallas to (finally!) start the PhD. Much of that, though, is window-dressing. The strands really uniting my life have included a search for wisdom, a compulsive "no-baloney" meter, and being smitten by beauty. I think it's safe to say that these three strands have led me around each unexpected corner, from living in an Irish hermitage to an Islamic culture.

Mexican, actually I live in Alameda, CA. I was I was an international volunteer, in World Youth Day, Rio de Janiero, 2013. I like to go to the movie theater, I love to walk to downtown in my city and I like the museums too, I like to read books that make you reflect on your life, I like cooking and make desserts, and the most I like is to travel when I have time and money to do it and know different cultures, people and meals. I don't play any instrument but in a future I love to learn play piano or violin. I love to sing. I love to listening music. I was in church choir for five years. My favorite music is pop, but I love to sing mariachi, and for to dance I like cumbia and Salsa. Actually I just practice the walk and run daily, I love the swimming, and I like the bicycle in the countryside. Some years ago I practiced swimming in competitions but for lack of time I abandoned it. I love to travel and go against the current (Be different). As Pope Francis said in Brazil, WYD 2013 My words Faith, Patience and Love.
