67, Auburn, CAI love life, my faith and relationship with God, and want to experience it with someone that I can love and cherish forever. There is so much of life yet to experience and I am looking forward to new experiences & building a faithful and active relationship with the right man if this be God's will for me. After having taught school for 28 years, teaching children with learning disabilities, I now own a catholic book store and love sharing stories with customers and being surrounded by my faith. Some customers have become good friends and greatly influenced my faith journey. Teaching has always been my career passion and as I have retired from public school teaching, I continue to tutor children with learning disabilities and am a catechism teacher for First Holy Communion aged children. I've always cherished my musical background that began in the fourth grade playing cello in the school orchestra. I went on to receive a Bachelor of Music degree and play in the Auburn symphony for a couple of years. I especially enjoyed playing in a quartet at weddings and other special events. I work out almost everyday at my gym and love road biking, hiking along the american river, swimming in tahoe, barbequeing on my new 4-burner grill, and of course, walking along a beach on a warm summer night with that special man. Oh, and I love football! I have been to couple of 49er games, one at the new stadium. I sure hope they are better this year. I enjoy reading books related to my faith, biographies and other nonfiction books. I especially enjoy preparing lessons for catechism or tutoring. The program that I teach in my church, called "The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd," is such a fantastic way to help children develop a lifelong relationship with their "Good Shepherd." The materials were all made by us catechists and there is lots of planning involved. Its all so worth it.
56, Sacramento, CAI am a very devout Catholic woman, and consider myself a "traditionalist".I love the beauty and the reverence of the Traditional Latin Rite and have been attending it for close to thirteen years now.I am active in my parish and take my faith very seriously and hope to some day find a companion who has similar interests.Traits that I consider important are integrity and a love of animals, a good work ethic and Catholic family values, attending mass regularly and an active interest in ones salvation is a must.I am fun and funny and kind of a dork.Health and fitness are important to me.
58, Elk Grove, CAThank you for taking the time to find out a little bit more about me. I was born & raised a catholic, my faith, believe and love for the Lord is what guides me in everything that I do. Sharing a life with another Catholic means equally yoked in the relationship. I want to share my faith with someone who feels as strongly as I do about our Lord. I am fun, exciting and adventurous. I love the outdoors. I enjoy making new friends. I am a positive, happy and fun-loving person. Would love to hear from you.
38, Roseville, CAI'm a lifetime member of the Couple to Couple League, yet I struggle with some of the Church's teachings. You're the guy who would love to talk about it over dinner at the Tower Cafe. I love escaping on road trips to see the redwoods on the north coast. I also embrace what's close to home. I'm known for my hospitality. I thoughtfully plan menus for dinner parties that bring friends from different areas of my life together. I'm a legal assistant who takes pride in meticulously organizing details for lawyers before they "go to the mattresses". You're the one who appreciates my responsible nature and quirkiness as much as my spiritual side.
59, Elk Grove, CAI came to USA when I was a new mother. Now I have three beautiful grown daughters; all three graduated college and only one is married. They are my sources of love, encouragement, and fun. I am a healthy, positive, and trustworthy person. I and thankful to God because He gives me excellent health, mental strength to overcome adversity, and now a great job- a job that I feel fit. I enjoy sunny days with outdoor activities and with a wide brim hat and sunglasses. I have involved in my church and am a treasurer for one church group. I go to gym regularly; swimming is the most enjoyable workout for me. And I like to cook! Family and faith are important to me. I miss those days when I was a busy mother with small children, but I am looking forward to seeing those busy activities at my children's home. I have been blessed plenty of God's grace even though there were many months and days I seemed so distant from Him. I trust in God as a child trusts in her father. I believe that no matter what happened to me they are the best plans He has for me. Therefore, Our Father is my favorite prayer and Saint Therese of Lisieux is my favorite saint. Traveling is still my big dream. I want to see Seven Wonders of the World, holy lands, and many more places...To fulfill this dream, I have tried to keep my health in a good shape. If it's God's will, I hope to find a man who is healthy, positive, and trustworthy. I could start to communicate with you with small talks. Then if you and I get along and chemistry sparks, life could go on to the next chapter. I am looking for someone special, around my age, who is stable mentally, emotionally, and financially. That special man for me is a God-fearing person and it's a plus if you sing in a choir and involve in church activities. Tell me your passions. At this age, I have learned to respect and support someone's passions. I pray to God to grant me a nice man with whom I could hold hands wherever I go for the rest of my life.
37, Davis, CAI'm 35 years old, I live in Davis, I'm extra sassy and I work as a lawyer practicing Health Law and Policy for the last 5 yrs. I love my job but worked as a medical social worker before becoming a lawyer, which I miss quite often. Shortly after graduating high school and just after starting college in SLO, I was injured in a roll over car accident. I use a wheelchair, and I've adapted to my new life. I wouldn't classify my life and its challenges as "easy," but it's been a very adventurous and rich life post injury. I've had 3 major relationships post injury. I find that many things are the same or may be logistically different- and yes, there is still a high level of physical intimacy amongst those with disabilities such as myself, if you know what I mean. :) My family is the most important aspect in my life. I taught Sunday school to 6th graders (ironically, less painful than it sounds) and remain active in my church. I find that others don't treat me as if I'm amazing or that they pity me. I'm just me living my life and doing what I would have done had I not been injured. I think I am fun, interesting, and slightly cynical. Slightly. I love the bay area and spend a lot of time there. It's just I work in Sacramento so I don't see myself leaving my job soon. I also just bought my first home two years ago and it's been an interesting experience. :)
47, Folsom, CAI am a fun loving, honest, romantic, and driven woman. The world is my adventureland; you can find me taking on a cross country trek, a local race (biking, mud run, or running), any sporting event, and enjoying a concert of any genre. I am excited to learn so many things such as horseback riding, scuba diving, kayaking, and sailing the great blue sea. My faith, children, family, and friends mean the world to me.
44, Sacramento, CAMy work in education keeps me busy and I don't get to go out much so I thought I would try Catholic Match. I'm honest and responsible and like to treat others how I would like to be treated. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I also have a sense of humor, sarcastic at times, and like to laugh and make others laugh. I like to take trips to the ocean. I love going to Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco. I also like taking trips to Southern California and Lake Tahoe. I love the outdoors once in a while but I enjoy going to the movies or just watching a movie at home the most. I enjoy watching a game of baseball or football whether at home or live. My favorite teams are the 49'ers and Giants. I also like a concert with a good 80's band. Some of my favorite are Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Cars, Howard Jones and many others. I also like Christian music such as Chris Tomlinson and Tenth Avenue North. In the last few years I have learned about my Catholic faith and have followed it closely. I love God and my family and friends and enjoy spending time with them. I attend mass at least twice a week; once throughout the week and once Saturday evening or Sunday and am looking to attend more. I learned to make rosaries and found my new hobby. If I could make rosaries without stopping I would. I wish I had more time.
