41, Auburn, CAI love to laugh and have been told I have a great smile. While I love studying and talking about Theology and Philosophy, living that which I study and talk about is really where my interest and passion is. I strive to grow closer to God on a daily basis and like most people some days I am better at this than other days. In some ways, I can be very eclectic and adventurous, yet I also like structure and order.
39, Fairfield, CAI never realized how important my faith was until I became older and wiser and after I had my son. My faith has gotten me through the toughest times in my life. I want to continue to grow in the grace of God, deepen my spiritual connection to the Lord. I am still trying to determine what my purpose in life is and why God blessed me with this life.
71, El Dorado Hills, CAI am retired but still work as a supplemental. I do software support for IBM mainframe programs and love the challenge. I love to travel and am specially fond of the ocean and the mountains. I like to cook and entertain family and friends. Love being near or on any water - lake, river, ocean. I enjoy watching sports and being outdoors. I like to read all kinds of books but am specially fond of the writing by Fr. James Martin, S.J. I like volunteering with my Church and working with the people I have met through this challenge. My favorite work is for the Global Outreach program. I like movies and theater and music.
28, Pollock Pines, CAMy name is Tiffany, I am 25 years old, and I live in the Sierra Foothills . I am a college graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education and work in Rancho Cordova as a pre-school teacher. I very much enjoy my hours working with and teaching children. I consider myself to be a kind, patient and caring person and very much enjoy learning and sharing with others in their interests and points of view. I enjoy outdoor life in camping and travel as well as cooking and family time. I am also very much into my faith as a Catholic. I enjoy volunteering my time and energy to worthy causes to help others in the thought of making this a better world. I often assist my folks in helping out where I can in the church and the Knights of Columbus of which they are a part. As a youth I was a Girl Scout and enjoyed the wonders of nature and camping. I also was a good student and was involved in helping others in my school. It is my hope in being a member of Catholic Match that I can find a good, honorable friend and soul mate to share experiences and happy times. It would be so nice and heartwarming to find someone to share my life and faith with, someone to gain knowledge from and share experiences with.
23, Davis, CAHi, my name is Julia and I am a first year veterinary student at UC Davis. I am very focused on my career but in my free time I love to be outdoors especially with my dog Kaia. I love to visit coffee shops, go to the beach, hike, and visit breweries every so often. I am the oldest of four with a younger sister and identical twin brothers. I have the most amazing parents and I value my family and my faith more than anything else in life.
44, Sacramento, CAMy work in education keeps me busy and I don't get to go out much so I thought I would try Catholic Match. I'm honest and responsible and like to treat others how I would like to be treated. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I also have a sense of humor, sarcastic at times, and like to laugh and make others laugh. I like to take trips to the ocean. I love going to Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco. I also like taking trips to Southern California and Lake Tahoe. I love the outdoors once in a while but I enjoy going to the movies or just watching a movie at home the most. I enjoy watching a game of baseball or football whether at home or live. My favorite teams are the 49'ers and Giants. I also like a concert with a good 80's band. Some of my favorite are Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Cars, Howard Jones and many others. I also like Christian music such as Chris Tomlinson and Tenth Avenue North. In the last few years I have learned more about my Catholic faith and have followed it closely. I love God and my family and friends and enjoy spending time with them. I attend mass at least twice a week; once throughout the week and once Saturday evening or Sunday and am looking to attend more. I learned to make rosaries and found my new hobby. If I could make rosaries without stopping I would. I wish I had more time.
21, Auburn, CAHi! My name is Taylor, I am 21 years old and a convert to the Catholic Faith from the year 2011. I take my faith as something of the upmost importance... God is part of every move I make in life. I am the third oldest of eight children that came from a homeschooling family, I love homeschooling and I will probably do that with my children. I love photography cooking and a good book :) I am sort of quiet until you get to know me. I am also kinda old fashioned.
62, Gold River, CAI am deeply passionate about my family, my health, my friends and my faith. I LOVE to travel and enjoy the outdoors. I have one child, a daughter, who is graduating from college. Activities that keep me busy include: working out, hiking, biking, skiing, re-upholstering furniture, spending time with my daughter, walking and playing with my dog, volunteering, and listening to music. I look forward to a glass of wine with friends or family, by the fire pit, with a good book or watching a good movie. My back yard is a labor of love; I'm constantly pruning, planting, weeding, mowing, raking. I'm very active with a dog therapy group. My Shiba Inu has been a therapy dog for over 5 years. We enjoy visits to many different facilities and venues throughout the greater Sacramento area - including the airport! After my husband's death, I started volunteering with the Funeral Reception Committee at my church. We host receptions at the church right after funerals for grieving families. Being on the receiving end of this wonderful ministry got me interested in coordinating them. Now the elephant in the room ... my husband of 25 years died in March, 2014 after gallantly battling a rare disease for 10 years. It was an honor to be his caregiver. He influenced me in a way I will forever be grateful - to face adversity with grace and dignity, to accept God's will and never, never give up. He also blessed me with a gift - to move on, meet someone and fall in love again. I've joined this site to open the possibility of finding someone with compatibility, to spend time, get to know and let God lead the rest. After graduating from UCDavis, I worked for an airline (wanted to see the world and couldn't afford it without the airline perks!), found my passion & worked in hospitality with an international 5 star hotel company which led to my meeting my husband. After our marriage, I started a home-based executive gift giving service and sold it to follow my husband's career path. We became expats and lived in Hawaii and Southeast Asia for awhile. (More travel and extraordinary experiences!) I am most impressed with people who take adversity and turn it into something positive, don't dwell on what they can't change, who leave it all on the field. I like people who make things happen, don't let them happen. This quote says it all, "It is the amount of preparation and effort you put into a task (when no one is watching) that defines who you are". DB

To find someone who is also a hopeless romantic such as myself would be a dream come true after all it is the little things in life that can put a smile on one's face that GOD has created for us or just like a note or maybe a fresh picked flower outside or a simple little flirty brush against each other. 62, Sacramento, CAI believe in the goodness of people, nature, universe and that powerful positive presence which we call God. I am the student of Catholic education from grammar school to graduate school, including two Jesuit universities. Critical thinking is part of my thought process. I am very politically liberal. Love living in California and visiting other states. Want to stay in California. Have travelled to about 40 other states and 20 countries. My life has been busy with careers in high tech, higher education and local government. Never found the right guy. Have time and effort to do so now. I am ready to share and partner with a wonderful gentleman who believes in goodness, compassion and love as I do. And who is ready for new adventures in travel, and let's figure it out together, shall we? Oh, I have a smart dog that's part of the package too. Humor, yours and mine. This profile first lacked any reference to what makes me laugh so here's a thought ot two. Wit, like "Wait, wait don't tell me" or Stephen Colbert. Silly pet videos. Family dinners when my brothers and their families gather together. What makes you laugh?
53, Sacramento, CAI'm hardworking single parent of 2 boys. I love to travel to see new places. I'm compassionate, patient and understandable. However it takes time for me to trust people. What I'm saying is TRUST must be earned!
