27, Tracy, CAHi. I suppose I can best be described as your average girl next door. I love traveling, theatre, writing, animals, and learning new things. I think I'm easy to be around and a fun person to get to know. At the end of the day, I'm just someone who would love to share her life with that one special guy. *** I haven't updated this in years. Although all of this still applies, I'm a constantly evolving person. I consider myself an old soul. I still think of myself as that sweet, goody two-shoes that I referred to above but I've found my voice in the last few years too. It's built up my confidence to be a more active participant in life and all it's adventures. For that, I am very grateful. I'm far from perfect but I strive to be a child of God every day. God has a plan for all of us and I've learned to trust His will no matter what.
30, Modesto, CAFirst of all, you may wonder, why I'm here? Well, since I'm in my second year of teaching, I don't have time to go out much; or when I do, it's difficult for me to be forward, so I'd rather start here to see if God uses someone to find me. Let's also get one more thing straight: As a high school English teacher, I know all to well how immature boys can be, so one thing you should know up front is that I speak my mind, tell it like it is, and am a strong woman of God. All this to say, I'm not looking for a physical relationship, so if that's what you're looking for-- look elsewhere. Besides being strong-minded (or strict to some) I actually like to have a good time: I love to laugh, sing, dance, exercise, shop, travel, visit museums, volunteer, be out in the nature, and be free-spirited-- as much as my conscience and love for God allow me to be. I believe that a strong friendship should be in order before a couple decides to be a couple. I also believe that just like a flower, a relationship takes time to develop, and tenderness and care to cultivate that friendship. If I haven't turned you off yet, please read the rest of my profile to see if we have enough in common to give it a try.
30, Modesto, CABorn and raised Catholic in a Hispanic home so I have traditional roots instilled in me but am very open minded to people and to the world. I do not judge anyone, rather I see each person for who they are based on where they come from. My parents were married for 28 years before they divorced. Sadly this has drifted me from the Church but I still have Faith in God and my Catholic faith. I am very outgoing and open to try new things. I like a bit of everything from being indoors to being outdoors. I spend most of my time exploring my new environment and watching sports.
29, Tracy, CAI would define myself as a family oriented, good, Catholic girl. I've grown up in a conservative, Catholic home, and I believe that to be the foundation of who I am. My parents have shown me the type of person I want to be, and that is to be faithful, generous, and independent. I could not have grown up with a better set of role models. I'm a nanny currently, so I love children very much, but I also do floral design work on the side because I love flowers, and have a real passion and gift for floral design. I think I'm a very creative person, so activities that allow me to use my creative juices are always a plus. Going to the movies, eating out, traveling, really anything to help me get to know someone is really all I can ask for. I do love sports as well. A baseball date or sitting at home watching college football will win you a pass straight to my heart. At the same time, a simple dinner or small, romantic gesture would win a ton of points as well. I seek a simple life if I'm being honest. I've asked God my whole life to bless me with a man who would love me for the woman He made me. If I were blessed with a husband who loved me that way, and God gave us children and a beautiful home, my life would be complete. For now, I'm waiting for God to put me on the path to such a life, but I believe with all my heart it will happen.
34, Ripon, CAI love my faith and I love life. I have a great sense of humor, i like going out and also relaxing things, and absolutely love raising my twin boys and spending time with my family, friends, and outdoors activities. I do everything with passion.
31, Tracy, CAThe pictures I posted in my profile are of me with my nephew and my newborn niece. I enjoy teaching children in my work as a teacher, The world is new and exciting for children. They enjoy learning new things which is why I enjoy spending time around them. I also like socializing with members in my parish. I particularly like to volunteer in parish events related to seniors. Seniors are witty, funny at times and offer plenty of wisdom. My family, my experience working as a teacher as well as interacting with senior citizens in my parish, has been influential on my outlook on life. During my leisure time, I enjoy reading, dancing, listening to music spending time with my family, going out for tea/coffee or a movie with friends.
32, Hughson, CAI'm definitely new to this online thing, and have to admit it is totally outside my nature to join a online dating site. I'm an incredibly old fashioned small town girl, and prefer getting to know people through my regular day to day life. However, I tend to stay quite busy and meeting single Catholic guys in a small town has not been easy. So, I figured should try to change a bit with the times, and figured I'd start with a Catholic site since my faith is very important to me. With that said, I feel I should let you know a little more about me, since all you get to see on her is some resume version of who I am. So here I go: I am a small town country girl, who loves being outdoors and spending time with genuinely good people. I have a very close knit family, and spend a lot of my time with them and close friends. I work in the agricultural industry, and spend a lot of my free time helping with community and church related activities. I am a hard worker, honest, and faithful, and admire people with these same qualities. I really love the outdoors!!! My favorite activities are camping, backpacking, fishing, snow skiing (if we get snow in the Sierras), going for walks, playing with my dogs, and laying out under the stars (I know that one sounds sappy, but I actually do). I also enjoy dancing, hanging out with close friends, watching movies, and playing games with my family. I like old school country music (not the new pop version playing right now), southern rock, soft rock, alternative, oldies, and most anything that is easy on the ears. I watch a little tv now an again, mostly discovery and history channel, hallmark, old tv shows (The Waltons, Andy Griffith Show, MASH, etc), and your basic local channels. Personality wise, I tend to seem fairly outgoing to most people, especially in my hometown. I tended to be the ambitious lets get things accomplished kind of person. My Mom always told me to be a leader not a follower, because you'll always know where you're going. I've also been a big believer in the saying "Be the change you wish to see in the world." However, with that said, I am really quite the introvert and tend to be the quiet reflective type, especially when it comes to my personal life. I tend to hold things in, and only share who I am and what I desire most with those closest to me. I tend to move slow in matters of the heart, so if I come off a bit shy, its probably because it takes me while to process my feelings.
25, Turlock, CAHere I am trying this again, not too good with online dating but here it goes. My name is Susana, I am passionate about healthcare, being the best mom I can be, (yes I am a single parent) as well as a successful college student. I look forward to living in a formal relationship when God has that in store for me. I love going out with my daughter. I'm pretty sure an addition to us would be a blessing. God willing, I hope to follow his path of love and faith which I hope will guide me to find a good person to spend the rest of my life with. It has to be someone who will accept my daughter and I, no exceptions. However, if God's will is not for me to marry, I have learned to accept it, for I'm really never alone in life. The people that are most influential in my life are my parents. Thanks to them I am a strong, brave, humble woman, who has ambition, shares love, respect, & a good sense of humor. Yes I'm pretty hilarious, I joke around plenty. I am a GREAT impersonator (I CAN IMMITATE ALMOST ANYONE). I love seeing people laugh & be happy, for happiness is all I have to offer. I know how to cook, & I love it! I'm a very busy woman with high hopes, I'm looking forward to getting pampered when & if I meet my special love.
22, Turlock, CAI remember in an English class I took during my first year of college the professor said the easiest thing to write about is yourself. I think that is true to an extent... I am most passionate about my faith, my greatest desire is to help others to see the truth and beauty of Catholicism. Honestly though, I wasn't always so strong in the faith, I did have a falling out for a couple years. During that time, I argued as a particularly arrogant agnostic would. I am very humbled by this, as well as other actions of my past. I thank God every time I think of how much He has helped my heart to change & I pray each day that He uses me to help others still developing in their faith. My goal is to earn a degree in theology and biblical studies. Ever since my reversion back to faith about two years ago, I've spent most of my leisure time either with friends or with my notepad, a pen, and a book outside by the pool. Most of the time, I'm reading something in the Bible, the CCC, or something put out by Scott Hahn, Catholic Answers, TAN, or Ignatius Press. I try to study everything I can with the intention of improving in apologetics & my ability to help catechize others, I don't know everything, but I sincerely wish I did. Learning our Catholic theology is definitely my passion. Honestly, I'm kind of obsessed with learning everything I can about the faith, the Bible, the Church, & its history, so I get really excited and talk a little too fast when conversing about such things. :)
28, Groveland, CAI am happily living life in one of the most beautiful places that God has created. Looking forward to seeing what's comes next in this adventure of life. I believe that God will make his plans known to us in good time. Meanwhile, I am looking to talk to people who are grateful for this life we've been given, and aren't afraid of living and loving, falling and getting back up, being disappointed and being awed. God is giving me this one life on earth, and I mean to do my very best to live it fully.
31, Livermore, CAI love travelling and coding and experience new culture and cuisine. I would like to meet someone who takes life seriously and at the same time enjoy the life
27, Stockton, CAHi! I love watching movies and reading books, however I enjoy going hiking, swimming, going dancing or to bars. I like exploring new places and finding mom and pop type joints to fine dining. I guess you can say I am both a homebody and adventurer. I love nature and animals! I genuinely believe we need to take care of our planet so much better as well as our wildlife!
