My faith, being what's most important in my life, has made me more committed and has moved me to be more involved with the church. Now I am currently going to school and volunteering in different church ministries. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, watching a good movie, or even just going out to grab a coffee. Traveling is a passion and try to do as much of it.

I am passionate about serving the community as a pre-licensed therapist, and clinic program manager, and raising my sons. I have been divorced for twelve years. I am also free to marry in the Church. I look forward to the possibility of continuing to love and learn with my future partner who desires the same out of life. I am a very adaptable personality, and I like to laugh! (so I really like a man with a good sense of humor, who remembers life is short, and does not sweat the small stuff). I am empathetic, kind (my friends say so:), and would not ask anything of a mate, family, or staff, that I would not ask of myself. In terms of role models, my late grandmother was the most influential for me. She worked hard all her life in various capacities, was strong, intelligent, always positive, generous, was a lady, a community leader, loving wife and mother. And she liked to laugh! In my leisure time I enjoy long walks (esp. at the beach no kidding), Zumba, reading, dancing (Fox trot or Salsa anyone?), attending outdoor classic rock and jazz concerts, street fairs or cultural events, sometimes the driving range, Angels and Bruin games. I believe in the power of daily prayer and meditation to keep me in balance.

Hi, I'm a fun person to be around. Pretty open to do anything fun or try anything at least one. You only live once, why not make the best of it. Life isn't measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments in life that take ur breath away...

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I retired from teaching elementary school 2 years ago. I have been in the field of education for about 31 years... first as a teachers aide, then as a Head Start teacher while I was finishing my teaching credential, and finally as an elementary school teacher. I was a very dedicated teacher and there was always something that needed to be done and not enough time to do it all. I think it took me about 6 months to really begin to relax from teaching! I have joined several service organizations since I retired. I enjoy doing community work. I am a member of two Women's Clubs (the one in my area and in another city where my aunt and her daughter attend). We do good works for people in our community. I am also a member of Cal-RTA, the Retired Teacher's Association. It is fulfilling work to help others and we have fun, too. I am on the Scholarship Committee of these service clubs because education has always been very important to me. It is a way up and out of poverty. We raise money for students in need who have the intelligence to go to college/university but lack the funds. It was great to talk to these kids, so bright and talented and thrilled to get the scholarships. Many were the first to attend college in their family. . I enjoy going out with/ visiting my relatives and friends. I am also interested in making "crafts" and sewing. I try to exercise 3-4 times a week...water aerobics, swimming, and yoga are among my favorite ways to exercise at 24Hr. Fitness. I watch PBS and Daystar Television Network mostly on TV. Daystar TV is a Christian religious network featuring many different pastors, preachers, religious leaders. The ones I really like to listen to are Bible- Based. I've learned a lot of scripture listening to them preach. Sometimes the bible is not easy to understand, and I get greater insight into the bible by listening carefully and taking notes. I go to my local Catholic church regularly and also go to the Salvation Army Church that my aunt goes to. I have been very impressed with their church and organization. I am enjoying retirement greatly.
