I love to take long walks in the snow with my dog and I try to stay fit and healthy. I have a great job that I enjoy everyday. I love to read and travel and do active, fun things. It would be so much more exciting if I had a best friend and partner to share them with.

Explaining self in 2500 words! Woh!! That's a task, even after staying in Marketing field for a decade :) Well, it is important though, after-all I'm finally setting out to get my 'soulmate' (Yes, I still believe in it!). So, let me give a try to share who I'm in the next few lines. I'm a girl believe in living the life without entering the 'boring' zone by keeping a very upbeat attitude. I like the trek in Himalayas and the wine and popcorn at my couch. Reading and Dancing is something I cannot live without. I love my job as a Digital marketing manager, my work took me to different parts of the world. It helped me create a very interesting and positive outlook in life. I'm not very religious, but close to Jesus :) Will not miss my Sunday mass and looking forward for someone who can sit next to me. Well, if you are still reading then I think you should click on that emoticon and send me a Hi. Good luck with your search!

Describing myself is something am not very good at, I think am a fun loving person and someone that believes that there is something very unique about every individual God has created for that reason I did not write off any body. I look forward to so many dreams and aspiration, am grateful to God as I accomplish each one. I believe so much in the loving grace of God and the strength I have in moving forward each day of my life, am a goal getter. I never give up on myself and above all on God, I try to get whatever I aspire even when I fail I never give up. Reading and traveling is something I love doing during my leisure time, I also watch TV

Hi, my name is Anna! I am recent Teachers College graduate and I am currently looking for a full-time teaching position. I am passionate about education in all its forms. I am passionate about my friends and family and my teaching career. I am a very artsy and creative person and I love all the arts, especially music, drawing and painting, photography, movies, reading, poetry, theatre. I am a spiritual person and have a deep faith. I am idealistic but I am grounded. I always try to do the right thing. I have travelled extensively and have lived for extended periods of time in England, Texas, Arizona, Vernon, Salmon Arm and Haida Gwaii but I grew up in Vancouver. I love life for the great miraculous adventure that it is! I'm passionate about spirituality, adventures, learning, art (especially theatre), wellness and living an inspired life. My greatest joy in life is my visceral experience of God/The Great Mystery/Divine Love in my daily life. I am blessed with the most amazing family and a close knit group of kindhearted, fun and sincere friends. I also love gardening, volunteering, and outdoor activities especially camping & hiking through the rainforest here on Vancouver Island. In what seems like another lifetime my career was as a live performing arts producer in theatre and dance. After an intense health crisis (totally fine now!! Thank God!!) I was inspired to pursue my spiritual life more intentionally and actively. I'm currently working on a masters degree in theology with a special interest in Christian Mysticism and the lives of the saints. I find myself fascinated by the writings of mystics like Teresa of Avila, John of The Cross and the Early Church Fathers. I'm actively involved in charitable work, especially managing and building infrastructure for projects aimed at alleviating and supporting homeless people and refugee resettlement. I feel passionate about social justice and often attend conferences, listen to podcasts and attend community activities on humanist issues. There is nothing more fulfilling than the continuous process of self-emptying so I might become a clear channel for grace to move through me in service according to the will of The Divine.

  • Susan, 68 from Windsor, CA
    68, Windsor, CA
The first love of my life is nature and wilderness--- canoing, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling and hiking there. I also love many sports, including golf, pickleball, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and back-packing. My principal hobby is music. I play piano, both classical and modern styles, and am learning to play the oboe. I consider it important to give back to society, and so I volunteer in my community, assisting the elderly.
  • Deirdre, 69 from Montreal, CA
    69, Montreal, CA
I love the winter when we have snow. I've met several spiritual leaders (Catholic and not) and they have been the most influential in my life. I don't have a lot of leisure time but when I do I like reading, talking with friends, trying new restaurants. I'm actually "pescatarian", not a strict vegetarian. And I will have a bit of poultry if that's what is served. I like to keep up with my four sisters by phone and email. Being out in nature when it's possible is something I love. Music gives me a lot of pleasure, but I can't say I find time to seriously listen to it. However, the organ music at Mass gives me a thrill. (We have a great organist.) To be very upfront about my status, my husband and I divorced but remained "family" to each other. We didn't have children though we really wanted them. (I come from a large family.) He lived close by my place for many years. I did what I could to help him through his last months. So I feel like a widow even though technically I was divorced.
