60, Denver, COHello! My name is Helen. I am sixty years old. My hair is graying and straight; my frame, petite at just over five feet tall. People recognize me by the intensity with which I scan the faces of those around me and by my tendency to sign with my hands and talk at the same time. I have a lifelong hearing impairment which I've adjusted to quite well, but plays hell on my interpersonal communications. Most of my days are spent in scholarly pursuits, looking for answers, searching for knowledge that will most likely lead me to more questions and more analysis of my findings. In academia I found my voice, literally. It is with respectful appreciation for higher education that I acknowledge the tremendous potential and opportunity that accompanies intellectual and spiritual growth. Relatives, neighbors, teachers, coworkers all contribute a spark of life to the metamorphosis, the ever present Spirit that allows me to be the woman that I am. How will I recognize the ONE for me? ... I don't know. I do know I am passionate about kids, dogs, cats I thrive being around people with active minds who are believers in Christ. I give thanks for each new day and each happy ending. I just joined Planet Fitness to exercise and tone up, lose some fat, gain some definition. I hope you can join me in a prayer for single adults everywhere that we all meet many great new people and find the right person to share love and life with. God bless! See you on the treadmill. :)
62, Littleton, COI hold my faith, family, and friends above everything else. I am an adventurous and outgoing person who loves to ski, hike, bike, work out and travel. I'm your typical Italian woman who loves a good meal and a good laugh. I'm searching for a companion who loves the Lord, life, and who thinks they can keep up with my fast pace :)
62, Littleton, COI love people, I am a happy person. Everything is alive and well, I live in gratitude and I am joyful. Knowing that there will be down times, I believe with adversity there are seeds of greatness. Love business and being an entrepreneur. Faith, Family, Finance, Fitness, Friends and Fun, these are my top priorities in life. At an early age I was taught to serve people, I was blessed to be raised in a home of faith. Given the gift of faith, made it easy to live that faith and pass it on to my children. Hence, I love to serve people, makes me humble for what I have. Looking forward to being with someone who loves the Lord, likes to give back, likes to dance, climbs 14ers, likes intelligent conversations, someone who enjoys the theatre, enjoys traveling, likes being around family and someone who would love my 3 amazing boys, and their families, 2 grandchildren and 1 grand dog. They are all doing well in life. I believe if everyone was nice to each other the world would be a better place.
68, Wheat Ridge, COI am passionate about travel especially road trips, passionate about family., I only have two grandchildren 14 and 17 yrs of age. Leisure time is spend in anything I desire within reason. Unfortunately most friends are either still working or unable to get away, forward to spending time in and with nature.(second nature to me) I was a member of Colo. Mountain Club. The most influential people in my life have been my parents and the experiences they offered us. I love nature ,I grew up with it, was my way of life. Among other things I enjoy spending time sharing my life with a man who has an open mind about life.
60, Englewood, COWelcome! I'm looking for a life companion-an independent, optimistic and spiritual man with a variety of interests and a zest for life. My Catholic faith is very important to me and I would love to have a partner to share that with. I'm the mother of three grown daughters and love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy my work in the telecommunications industry. Although I'll never win any medals, I like biking, skiing, sailing, racquetball, camping and golf. Reading, music (rock, jazz, blues) movies and plays are also favorite pastimes. I value a healthy lifestyle with good balance of heart, head and soul.
67, Littleton, CORecently retired, I enjoy golf, walking/hiking and yoga. I am interested in nutrition and try to live a healthy lifestyle. I love dogs and have recenly acquired a puppy. I am active in my parish where I serve as a Eucharistic minister.
60, Boulder, COHello, My love of the Great Holy Spirit and our dear Jesus Christ has run thoughout my life and the many paths that God has led me. My greatest teachers of this have been my parents and then, later in life, the many folks that I have met on my path who are sharing the same journey, be they Catholic or not. My leisure time is spent reading, involved in music, riding my horse, travel, being out in God's beautiful World.
61, Arvada, COAs for most of us who live here in Colorado, I love and take advantage of all that this beautiful state offers. But more important than a list of all I do or want, is that I try to be a better person each and everyday. I consciously try and do what is right and to be compassionate of others. I love God, life, family, and friends and am passionate about my faith. Over the past four years I have been on this incredible journey. I feel that I have been set on fire by the Holy Spirit. What I want most is to continue to develop a deeper and more loving relationship with the Trinity. I am active, enjoy traveling, and the simple life. As you can see from my photos I love animals and currently have 2 dogs. I love to travel especially internationally and it has impacted my life in so many ways. I have learned to have more compassion for others and gratefulness for what I have in my life. My favorite activities include anything that is outdoors. I ski, hike, backpack, run and cycle. I enjoy being active and don't spend much time watching TV except for movies. However, I am not a fan of violence or scary! I really enjoy meeting new people and I am always looking for someone to enjoy Colorado with.
69, Denver, COHello.........I moved from Montana to Denver 21/2 years ago, shortly after I retired, to be nearer my three kids who all settled in Colorado after their college years. I love living here in Denver and am here to stay. Being an active, on-the-go type person, I would love to meet an active guy who enjoys doing some of the same things I enjoy. My latest craze is Pickleball. Check it out if you haven't tried it. I'd like to say I golf, but actually, I'm more of a "hacker." I do like golf though, and I especially like golf course settings. At any rate, I walk, hike, or participate in some type of exercise almost daily. I love movies, theater, concerts, and musicals, and I enjoy Denver's museums and beautiful botanical gardens. Of course, I love dining out at the latest eating establishments. I rarely miss a Bronco's game (tv), and I like attending Rockies games. Love to travel too. My family and friends are very important to me. I feel certain they would tell you that I am a loving, caring, and loyal mother, family member, and friend. I am definitely a people-person. My health is good (luckily!), and I take pride in my appearance. I would like the same in a partner, but I am reasonable and realize that "age" catches up with everyone, sooner or later. I think Calvin Coolidge says this profoundly: "Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." - Calvin Coolidge I like these ideas about HOW TO LOVE: 1. Listen without interrupting 2. Speak without accusing 3. Give without sparing 4. Pray without ceasing 5. Answer without arguing 6. Share without pretending 7. Enjoy without complaint 8. Trust without wavering 9. Forgive without punishing 10. Promise without forgetting
63, Lakewood, COIt all started when my parents decided to send all 10 of us to Catholic Schools! Our lives revolved around the Catholic Church, since we lived directly across the street. The nuns tried to recruit me to join their order, which I really wanted to do......until I became interested in guys! Nevertheless, I made it through 12 years of Catholic education, despite morphing into a "hippie" during college! I'm pretty normal, funny, like to have fun; am a great listener; love to dance, hear live music, climb smallish mountains, do volunteer work and be with my grandson. I try to live my life by the words of St. Francis...."For it is in giving that we receive." Hope to meet someone who feels the same!
