60, Denver, COHello! My name is Helen. I am sixty years old. My hair is graying and straight; my frame, petite at just over five feet tall. People recognize me by the intensity with which I scan the faces of those around me and by my tendency to sign with my hands and talk at the same time. I have a lifelong hearing impairment which I've adjusted to quite well, but plays hell on my interpersonal communications. Most of my days are spent in scholarly pursuits, looking for answers, searching for knowledge that will most likely lead me to more questions and more analysis of my findings. In academia I found my voice, literally. It is with respectful appreciation for higher education that I acknowledge the tremendous potential and opportunity that accompanies intellectual and spiritual growth. Relatives, neighbors, teachers, coworkers all contribute a spark of life to the metamorphosis, the ever present Spirit that allows me to be the woman that I am. How will I recognize the ONE for me? ... I don't know. I do know I am passionate about kids, dogs, cats I thrive being around people with active minds who are believers in Christ. I give thanks for each new day and each happy ending. I just joined Planet Fitness to exercise and tone up, lose some fat, gain some definition. I hope you can join me in a prayer for single adults everywhere that we all meet many great new people and find the right person to share love and life with. God bless! See you on the treadmill. :)
68, Wheat Ridge, COI am passionate about travel especially road trips, passionate about family., I only have two grandchildren 14 and 17 yrs of age. Leisure time is spend in anything I desire within reason. Unfortunately most friends are either still working or unable to get away, forward to spending time in and with nature.(second nature to me) I was a member of Colo. Mountain Club. The most influential people in my life have been my parents and the experiences they offered us. I love nature ,I grew up with it, was my way of life. Among other things I enjoy spending time sharing my life with a man who has an open mind about life.
42, Parker, COSpending time with my daughters. I enjoy going to the mountains, hiking trails, walking, watching football, reading, bowling, going to the movies, and of course shopping.
48, Canon City, COHello! Life is to be treasured... smile, laugh, and love everyday! I am: independent, hardworking, kind of silly, passionate about my beliefs, and family oriented. I have been known to: spill my coffee, play in the mud, and laugh at a funny movie. I love: travel, new experiences, the theatre, sporting events, board games, and quality time outdoors. I look forward to: whatever else life has in store for me!
25, Pueblo, COIn my leisure time, I enjoy watching movies, crocheting, reading and spending time with my son. I work full time as a social caseworker, so I value the time I have with my family. I am always looking for fun activities to do in my spare time and am always up for new experiences. I come from a military family, so traveling is something I am very accustomed and interested in. I love to meet new people and hear stories about their lives, because I believe that knowing others helps you to reflect and appreciate your own life and experiences as well. In my life, I've been heavily influenced by my parents, positively of course. They are a huge part of my life and are a constant support system for me and my son. I am very outgoing and always try to be optimistic about what life holds for me!
58, Pueblo West, COI enjoy the outdoors, and weekend getaways, watching movies both at home and at the movie theater, and of course SundayMass. I'm a good cook, but do enjoy dining out often as well.
21, Colorado Springs, COI'm a fun loving, spontaneous, and have an adventurous spirit. There are days where I loved to get dolled up, and then there are days where I really want to wear sweatpants. I'm not too concerned about impressing people unless they have my up-most respect, like my parents and teachers. That being said, it's not my prerogative to be rude to anyone. I may be sassy at times, but I ultimately find myself caring a lot about other people and dogs. I absolutely love dogs! On the more descriptive side, I'm a Civil Engineering student, daughter, sister, friend, and Catholic. I enjoy travelling, trying new things, and working out (although I may be bad at a few things i.e. swimming and running). I'm currently working hard to improve my swimming time, and I'm on an intramural dodge ball team. I love movies, books, tea, hammocking, camping, sleep (engineering student), and I really want to start gardening. I'm very passionate about school, and it is my intent to save the world one day!
53, Portlaoise, IEI'm very happy person, love watching good films, listening good music, dancing, gardening ,walking ,playing chess,or different games etc.. 69, Denver, COHello.........I moved from Montana to Denver 21/2 years ago, shortly after I retired, to be nearer my three kids who all settled in Colorado after their college years. I love living here in Denver and am here to stay. Being an active, on-the-go type person, I would love to meet an active guy who enjoys doing some of the same things I enjoy. My latest craze is Pickleball. Check it out if you haven't tried it. I'd like to say I golf, but actually, I'm more of a "hacker." I do like golf though, and I especially like golf course settings. At any rate, I walk, hike, or participate in some type of exercise almost daily. I love movies, theater, concerts, and musicals, and I enjoy Denver's museums and beautiful botanical gardens. Of course, I love dining out at the latest eating establishments. I rarely miss a Bronco's game (tv), and I like attending Rockies games. Love to travel too. My family and friends are very important to me. I feel certain they would tell you that I am a loving, caring, and loyal mother, family member, and friend. I am definitely a people-person. My health is good (luckily!), and I take pride in my appearance. I would like the same in a partner, but I am reasonable and realize that "age" catches up with everyone, sooner or later. I think Calvin Coolidge says this profoundly: "Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." - Calvin Coolidge I like these ideas about HOW TO LOVE: 1. Listen without interrupting 2. Speak without accusing 3. Give without sparing 4. Pray without ceasing 5. Answer without arguing 6. Share without pretending 7. Enjoy without complaint 8. Trust without wavering 9. Forgive without punishing 10. Promise without forgetting
48, Dublin, IEHello I'm Patricia , I'm a slow starter with this type of thing ... But here goes I'm passionate about The Lord , my family , friends and a soft heart for whose who can defend themselves . Art is my first love work wise , but will turn my hand to a lot of things when needs must . I'll get better at this type of thing as I go along I'm sure and will add to this presently
60, Palisade, COMy children are the most important part of my life. My faith has carried me through the tough times and my prayer life is always a part of my daily routine. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking & watching sunsets with a nice glass of wine and friendship.
51, Abbeyleix, IESunrise and sunsets are my thing..I simple love watching the sun set.. God's own painting and it is so relaxing. Music and singing and laughing and hugging people. Yes...love that now!! Interacting with people, friends, but..if they are not around.I love reading or writing..or cooking and baking. To see friends and family enjoy the different tastes makes my heart soar! Walking in the country or just watching the ocean..if ever near the ocean. So peaceful. My father (RIP) had a great influence in my life. He was kindhearted and always saw to it that others' had. He taught me what humility was about and always said that my faith is what I had to always hold on too, no matter what. He often told me that I had to reflect on things that I am grateful and thankful for. It can be difficult when one has lost it all..but, God is good and never forgets as He does grant us our tiny miracles..in His time though! This might sound awful..but I enjoy going to Mass..to close my eyes and know that I am in His presence... Christmas time for me..we await the birth of Christ..yet there will be so many many lonely people out there.. including myself. but..God is good...and we will get our miracles..even though surrounded by friends at times, one still feels lonely. I guess I am just weird!! lol..
