60, Glenwood Springs, COOk, I have to say I have been truly blessed throughout my life. Each day is a new opportunity to be grateful for everyday experiences as well as the people God has placed in our lives.
64, Golden, COI'm a proud Mom of two wonderful young men and an active, outdoors loving professional woman. I enjoy all aspects of my life including my family, my friends, and the career that recently brought me to Colorado. When I lost my husband several years ago I placed my priority on raising my two sons and making a solid home life for them. Now that they're on their own I'm ready to seek new friends, and perhaps meet that special man to share my enjoyment of the outdoors, good movies, and visiting new places. My interests include learning about different cultures; traveling to places I've never been before and meeting people who are different from me; reading about western history; visiting historical sites and museums; and outdoor activities including camping, hiking, snow skiing, snow shoeing, etc. I enjoy settling down in the evening with a glass of wine or an interesting beer, and a good book, a fun TV program, or a good movie. I have a very rewarding career that has offered me many interesting opportunities and experiences. I still enjoy it very much but am ready to gather even more enjoyment from other aspects of life, including spending more time with friends and building a meaningful relationship with the right man.
62, Denver, COHi guys............i never know what to say!........So here it goes I have learned about myself to say this to you. I am looking for a long time relationship. I have two sons, a daughter and four grandkids, well educated. and very close to GOD. more to talk about so lets give it a try. I do not lie and am factual. love to dance to music sometime and to dance in love.
60, Denver, COHello! My name is Helen. I am sixty years old. My hair is graying and straight; my frame, petite at just over five feet tall. People recognize me by the intensity with which I scan the faces of those around me and by my tendency to sign with my hands and talk at the same time. I have a lifelong hearing impairment which I've adjusted to quite well, but plays hell on my interpersonal communications. Most of my days are spent in scholarly pursuits, looking for answers, searching for knowledge that will most likely lead me to more questions and more analysis of my findings. In academia I found my voice, literally. It is with respectful appreciation for higher education that I acknowledge the tremendous potential and opportunity that accompanies intellectual and spiritual growth. Relatives, neighbors, teachers, coworkers all contribute a spark of life to the metamorphosis, the ever present Spirit that allows me to be the woman that I am. How will I recognize the ONE for me? ... I don't know. I do know I am passionate about kids, dogs, cats I thrive being around people with active minds who are believers in Christ. I give thanks for each new day and each happy ending. I just joined Planet Fitness to exercise and tone up, lose some fat, gain some definition. I hope you can join me in a prayer for single adults everywhere that we all meet many great new people and find the right person to share love and life with. God bless! See you on the treadmill. :)
69, Erie, COHi, Thanks for stopping by. I'm an honest, sincere, faith-filled, fun-loving lady who enjoys life and sharing time with others. I'm widowed & although have adapted to being single, I would like to share my life with someone special. Now that I have retired I am able to spend more time traveling and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy gardening, going on new adventures, going on cruises, dining out, traveling, playing cards, sharing time with family and friends, playing with the grandchildren, watching sports (either in person or on TV), going to the movies, going to the theatre. I attend Mass on Sunday, listen to the Catholic Channel on satellite radio and truly try to live in the ways of the Lord. That's enough about me for now. Thanks for visiting my profile and I hope to hear from you soon.
68, Colorado Springs, COWell, this will take some courage, although it's not exactly running into a burning building. My dear friends have graciously described me as trustworthy, loyal, funny, and kind. Of course, I gave them a substantial bribe to say so. Aside from that minor detail, honesty and integrity are important to me. I've been fortunate to have a profession that has allowed me to travel and experience many different countries, cultures, politics, current events, and meet lots of people along the way. It has presented many opportunities for personal growth and given me a taste for variety and adventure. More importantly, it has also allowed me to be of service to many people and extend hospitality to them. I am a hard worker who is independent and a team player. I want good things for the people around me and appreciate the accomplishments of others. I love my Catholic Faith and my country. Being Catholic these days is an adventure yet it's crucial to the way I live. Enthusiastic about design and remodeling; creative and artistic (Fine Arts degree). Love books and intelligent conversations, following politics and current events. I have many interests and love to learn, attending conferences, lectures, and happenings to further that.Good manners and decency are always appreciated and I enjoy reciprocating gestures of goodwill. I love to laugh and enjoy making even ordinary things fun. Humor: dry; prefer stirred, not shaken. Tender-hearted; low maintenance, considerate, practical (from hardy pioneer stock), imaginative, articulate, intellectual, refined, a little sassy when called for (gee, and modest too, couldya' believe it?). I well understand the difference between stuff and people. Usually active at something, and not afraid to get a bit messy when involved with a project. Most days seem too short to contain all the good things. A bit of a foodie; enjoy cooking and nice table settings simply for a quiet evening, or a party. Love beautiful surroundings, gardens, animals, extraordinary and ordinary things, & yes, people. Any Medjugorje devotees out there? It would be wonderful to find a great guy to share fun things, food, good conversations, a good sense of humor, Faith, travel, teamwork, and more. ...Whew, ...well, ...after all that! Thank you for taking the time to look at this. May God bless you abundantly.
