    I am originally from Northern California but have lived in Colorado for the last 24 years. I have a bachelors degree in accounting and work for a financial organization headquartered in Denver. I have two daughters and a family who mean a lot to me. I try to spend time with my siblings when I can but we all live in different states. When I'm not working or spending time with my family I like to watch movies, work out or play softball. I'm looking for someone who values family and his faith, who preferably attends the traditional mass. Someone who can be a strong family leader.

  • Elizabeth, 36 from Aurora, CO

    36, Aurora, CO
    I'm 36 years old and live in northern Aurora, CO. I have been a grade school teacher for 11 years. I love the students and my many nieces and nephews. I'm never the first one to suggest crazy things to do, but I'm always happy to go along for the ride. I'd love to find a great friend, firstly. He doesn't have to be perfect, in fact, it's better if he's not! but he does have to strive for God's Will. I understand this is sometimes difficult to do, but it's a marathon, right? Not a race. I love to laugh and a good sense of humor is really important to me, because at the end of the day, at the end of your life, you have to LIKE the person you are with. I was raised very conservative Catholic and I, wear skirts about 90% of the time. I believe women are strong and capable of anything, but most importantly that they should be comfortable with Mary-like femininity. I've been much more active in the last few years and have taken up the body pump class at my gym. I didn't initially think it would be something I'd like, but looking back, I'm glad that I gave it a shot. Now I'm a little hooked, and I go to the gym at least a few times a week. I do like zombie movies, and sometimes think they are really funny. I am currently wearing a Stars Wars t-shirt because somehow I missed the boat in the 80's and am trying to make up for it now. I've traveled a little bit, but am more of a popcorn and movie sort of gal, and I enjoy hanging out with my tight knit group of friends.

    I would like somebody that's not afraid to get there hands dirty. I live in the country and I like it. I want to be like my parents we always had a big garden we canned a bunch of our food. We made everything homemade like spaghetti sauce, bread, noodles, tortillas.... I like self sufficiency and want to have a cow and chickens and any other farm animals. We used to make our own butter and cheese. I like the feeling of having fresh milk and eggs and homemade meals with food from the garden. I would really like to have a country guy or someone who is not afraid of the country.

    21, Mead, CO
    I recently received my BA in Anthropology with a focus in archaeology from the University of Kansas in the spring. I am very passionate about my career and it helps to bring me closer to God. I also love learning languages and am currently learning German and American Sign Language. I play the piano and the pipe organ and I hope to learn how to play many more instruments. I also love the outdoors. My favorite thing, however, is to experiment with various hobbies! I love acquiring and learning from new experiences, so even if I can only do something once (for example, canoe in the Ozarks or white water raft) I still appreciate how much that experience can enrich my life! It is amazing to see God in so many different activities, people, and places. Also, I am a total dog person. I'm also a little bit of a hippy.

    30, Fort Collins, CO
    The most important and influential thing in my life is my faith. There is nothing I am more passionate about than God and faith. I try to do everything in service of Our Lord and Savior and try to be mindful at all times of all His Gifts. I am an avid learner and education has been a dominant part of my life, so much so that I am still in school finishing up my PhD studies. I find so much in this world fascinating, past and present, and cannot imagine a day where I am not blessed with new insight. School has probably been one of the most influential things in my life and I have loved it ever since I began kindergarten. The most important person in my life is my mom. She is my best friend and we have so much fun together. I love to laugh and not take things too seriously when I am away from my work. I enjoy going to cultural events like the theatre and ballet and one of my most favorite things to do is to go to the zoo. I love animals and believe they are one of the most precious Gifts.
  • Mary, 23 from Aspen, CO
    {%action_menu%}
    23, Aspen, CO
    I am originally from a small town in rural Ohio; corn fields and tomato patches set the scene for some of the best moments of my childhood. I moved to Aspen last November expecting to work a seasonal job for a couple months and enjoy the world class skiing while I planned my next step. Well, it has been more than a few months now and it would be fair to say the mountains have my heart. My heart is still searching, however. While it is easiest to feel close to God in the mountains, I am ready to leave them if it is His will. I am a passionate person although I am still praying for a focus or calling toward a career and lifestyle that will best fulfill God's purpose for me. I have recently felt a strong pull to become a teacher and am currently applying for the ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) program through Notre Dame. Prayers and good intentions needed towards this journey.
