I hold two things close to my heart...my relationship with God and my family. I practice old fashion values. I guess you could call me Eve looking for Adam, looking for a gentleman who finds being part of a Christian community important. Someone who is slow to anger, honest and doesn't play games. Let their yes be yes and their no be no. I enjoy spending time with family and extended family, going out to dinner, fishing, road trips, flea markets. I enjoy BBC films, theater, gardening and working with children. I find it rewarding reaching out and doing street ministry to individuals who have lost all hope. I make it point to use words that build up and not tear down. So Adam if you're out there....would love to hear from you.

After watching a full episode of King of Queens and staring at this screen this is all I got for you: I graduated from Franciscan University in 2014 and lived in Steubenville OH for a year and a half where I worked as a Child Welfare social worker. I recently decided to move back home to be closer to my family. I figured I'd give CatholicMatch a shot because why not? Also Tinder wasn't working for me. Jesus is my main man. I'd rather wear a flannel and snap back than make up and heels. I wish it was summer all year long so I could live at the beach. I got hooked on longboarding in college. I like watching Netflix because it satisfies my introvert side. I have five brothers so don't even think about messing with me. I have a pet hedgehog named Archie.

I am a happy lady. I believe in karma and that you should always treat others how you would like to be treated. If you're looking for somebody to share your life, compliment it, enjoy the good and work through the bad. Looking for mutual respect, honesty, integrity. Enjoy holding hands walking on the beach or even just in the car going any place. You want somebody who knows that our flaws are what make us the person we are and should be embraced. Not looking to change each other but appreciate who we are.

I am a Portuguese teacher who loves to learn new things and explore the world. I was born in Curitiba, Southern Brazil, only child of a traditional Catholic family. Helping people is what makes me feel my faith the most, that's why I decided to move to Africa and work as a volunteer for six months. Now I'm living in the USA for two years as part of an internship.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. -1John 4:7,8 When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, "I am in the heart of God." And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. -The Prophet These are two of my favorite quotes and they are my core approach to living my faith and my life. I believe that generating an atmosphere of love is the first and foremost approach to all situations. Regardless of belief, action, behavior, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious association, etc. every person on this planet is human and a child of God and therefore deserves to be shown love. By loving, we can foster relationships that help us to understand each other better. When we better understand, we can better provide aid and spread faith. All that being said, some more generic information about me: I am an extrovert. I prefer to be around people rather than be alone. I love the arts. My career is in theater and some of my hobbies include reading, knitting, cooking and painting/drawing (occasionally). My taste in music is very broad, I love it when someone shares a song or artist with me of whom I've never heard. Science fascinates me. I enjoy learning about new discoveries or about how things I take for granted are anything but ordinary. Other than hockey, I don't follow any sports teams. I have fun going to games with friends, but I don't watch them on tv. I like to travel; I've been lucky enough to see much of the US and some of Europe. I am definitely a dog person. Cats have grown on me over the years, but I have no control over my adoration of dogs. I'm totally one of those people that smiles at a dog on the street and forgets to acknowledge it's owner. I would consider myself a nerd. I like action and sci-fi related movies and tv shows. I love playing board games and enjoy an RPG now and then. Overall I have a fairly relaxed personality. I get along with most everyone. I can be sarcastic, but am more often just goofy. I am willing to try almost anything, be it a new food or a scary looking rollercoaster. It really doesn't matter what I'm doing to have a good time, as long as everyone is happy, I'm happy. I guess that sums it up. If you are interested in knowing more, don't hesitate to ask!
