66, Darien, CTI'm a widow with a young son in the 8th grade. My husband died of Cancer in 2004. I'm 60 years old. I work 20 hours/week as assistant to the Chair of Pediatrics at a local hospital. I love children so much and had always hoped to have a large family, but God made my life path somewhat different. Having gone back to work after 7 years home as a full time mom has meant giving up most of any "free" time I might have. My "free" time since then has been devoted to keeping his world as stable as possible since he was only in first grade when his dad died. Personally, I like to be outside as much as possible (as long as the weather is decent!). I have a good sense of humor, am artistic and kind. I have a master's degree and would someday like to complete a doctoral program. I love learning, lived overseas and speak German. I like a variety of music and reading. I like the simple things in life basically. Trust means a great deal to me and loyalty, faithfullness and hope are critical. I have a firm Irish Catholic faith which is more on the charasmatic side of things I suppose.

35, East Hartford, CTHi, Thank you for viewing my profile. I'm grateful to God for the life, faith and love, which it has brought me joy and fortress. First, my faith is very important to me, it is the center of my life. Always, I pray the Lord let me see through his eyes others and can help them a least with a good word or a smile :). On this perspective I would to say I'm easy going, loyal, thoughtful, open mind to listen or understand others or situation, I like help others as well. Also, I enjoy walking, sport practicing like volleyball and specially basketball, watch soccer, outdoor activities, volunteering, love to dance, cook, I seek to grow as person and learn new things. For other side, I'm pro-family I tend to read about family topics, couples relationships and kids behavior, that it had helped me advice others.
26, Danbury, CTI think I've rewritten this about a million times. I guess even with online dating the nerves still kick in. What can I say? I'm a simple woman. I'm loving, very outgoing and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I can laugh at corny jokes for probably longer than anyone should, but I really do get a kick out of them. I love to go out and explore the world- try new things- but nothing makes me happier than being at home, inviting a couple friends/family over and cooking dinner and just enjoying each other's presence. I'm actually pretty into football- everyone is always so shocked, lol. But nothing is better than some chicken wings and football after Sunday mass!
67, East Granby, CTI hold two things close to my heart...my relationship with God and my family. I practice old fashion values. I guess you could call me Eve looking for Adam, looking for a gentleman who finds being part of a Christian community important. Someone who is slow to anger, honest and doesn't play games. Let their yes be yes and their no be no. I enjoy spending time with family and extended family, going out to dinner, fishing, road trips, flea markets. I enjoy BBC films, theater, gardening and working with children. I find it rewarding reaching out and doing street ministry to individuals who have lost all hope. I make it point to use words that build up and not tear down. So Adam if you're out there....would love to hear from you.
