27, Storrs Mansfield, CTI'm fabulous. Ask anyone. I'm a down-to-earth, smart-mouthed, twenty seven year old with a dog and a burgeoning plan for traveling and drinking wine. I love going dancing - swing is my jam - and I'm a concert junkie. There's nothing like feeling the music in your ribs. I like taking my dog for walks and runs (I like the running BEFORE I find myself shouting, "THIS IS HOW WE DIE!") and I've found that I actually, really enjoy yardwork. Never would have guessed that one. I sing a LOT. And then I drink some tea or coffee. Usually while reading one of the ten books I have going - oh, words! I love puppies and babies, art, music, movies...the usuals. I bake a mean apple pie. I think that there's something funny to be found in most situations. I write, a lot. I love editing. I'm getting to be fairly not horrible at painting... Golly, if there's more you want to know, shoot me a line, cause I'm coming up short on this. Cheers!
31, Mystic, CTI have a classic INTJ personality type (according to Myers-Briggs). I'm always thinking in terms of what's most logical and carefully planning before I act, and I have a dry, witty sense of humor. I've been told I'm very difficult to read, but I really am quite warm-hearted and well-meaning in what I do and say, and I can be quite bluntly honest, cheerful, or silly depending on the circumstances. I'm not very demanding -- I like people best when they're themselves, and I think they should not be forced to change themsleves to fit my own expectations. I love all things deeply intellectual and any and all ideas. I love reading, watching movies, woodcarving, painting, doing research, singing, and learning languages (French, Arabic, ancient Egyptian, Latin, etc), history and culture (particularly ancient through early medieval times from the Middle East, Europe, India, and Africa), computers, and the practical sciences (like astrolabes); and traveling. I've always wanted "house" rabbits, but I wouldn't mind having any other sort of pet, especially of the furry variety (but definitely not bugs -- so entomologists are out). I'm great with children and animals and usually get along well with everyone. I'm very close to my family, especially my brother who's my best friend and my feline "nephews" Connor and Murphy. I've lived in both my home "village" and downtown DC and like both atmospheres. I've worked as a librarian, computer tech, web designer, office assistant, and now as a Kindergarten paraprofessional (teacher's aide). I have been in a church choir, and have volunteered as a cantor. I am a devout Catholic who, as regularly as possible, prays the Liturgy of the Hours and goes to Sunday Mass, and is deeply interested in Carmelite spirituality. And I definitely want to start a family. I'm a most private person and can be hard to get to know until I feel comfortable with someone, but I do make a positive effort to interact socially with others. I loathe cooking, but I'm a terrific and more-than-willing dish-washer.
29, Stamford, CTI don't want to write too much about myself, so here are the top ten things you should know about me: 1. I love my family. They are the most important part of my life. 2. Friends are the second most important. 3. I was born Catholic and I love my faith. It is very important to me and I hope it is for you as well. 4. My dream came true when I graduated from Notre Dame with my MBA last year-GO IRISH! 5. I LOVE my job and take a lot of pride in the work I do. 6. Nothing makes me happier than a spur of the moment dance party, anytime, anywhere. 7. My favorite things to do on a sunny day: play tennis, walk Green lake, and drink a Slurpee. 8. My favorite things to do on a rainy day: watch a college football or basketball game, read a good book by a fire & hang with friends. 9. I'm a pretty simple girl, but love the finer things in life. 10. I love laughing until I cry, singing at the top of my lungs, deep conversations, cups of coffee, traveling the world, working out, being silly and having fun. Life's too short to not enjoy it.
28, New London, CTI've realized because of my job it's hard to meet new people. I'm new to the area still getting set up. I'm looking to meet new people, make new friends. For a relationship I'm hoping to find someone fun and outgoing, has their priorities in line, a good job and motivated to get somewhere in life, is reliable, honest, good sense of humor, and supportive. I'm really looking for that best friend in life that kind of we are in this together person. I'm definitely old fashioned. I'm a pretty laid back person it's easy for me to have fun and I'm a kid at heart. I love going out trying new things, restaurants, the beach, working out, sometimes staying in and renting a movie is great too.
31, Norwich, CTI like to think I am a good woman, looking for a good man to be my adventure partner. I love to laugh and need a guy with a good sense of humor that can appreciate and share in my silly quirkiness. I like to hike and camp and go on road trips. I loving watching movies, especially in the theater. Being economically stable is very important to me but I am not materialistic. I am looking for a man with these same interests. He could be you! I challenge all men to look past the "body type" section and get to know a woman deeper than her skin. The love of your life might be carrying around a little extra. Don't let her go just because of that.
32, Waterford, CTHi, I'm Jen. I am a special education teacher at an elementary school and I am a youth ministry volunteer at a Catholic retreat center. I enjoy walks at the beach with my dog, making music in either a handbell choir or community band, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering at a retreat center. I am a Eucharistic Minister and help coordinate mass each Sunday (ensure the readers are present, all the lights are on, the candles are lit, etc.). I feel that my faith is that of a moderate Catholic. I don't think I fit into either the liberal or conservative definitions. I do though have close friends at both ends of the spectrum of liberals and conservatives. I also have close friends who are Christians but not Catholic and believe that we have more in-common in our faiths than we do differences. I am also a very dedicated teacher. I am a leader both at my school and in the district special education department. I sometimes feel split between my secular identity as a teacher at a public school and my Catholic faith, but I feel that special education is my vocation and what God wants me to do right now. I also remember often the words of St. Francis, "preach the Gospel at all times, when necessary use words." I can "preach the Gospel" through love, compassion, and patience for my students, their families, and my coworkers.
25, Chaplin, CTHello. My name is Hannah. I could best be described as a quiet, empathetic, kind, loving person. I am very passionate about working with young children and making a positive difference in their lives. In college I got an associates degree in liberal arts and sciences. Then I went on to get my child development associate and recently received my head teacher certification. I currently work at a Christian daycare. I love that my job involves faith and I truly enjoy teaching the children about it. I have always taken my education very seriously. I was always very conscientious and got very good grades. In high school I was a member of the National Honor Society. I also graduated fourth in my class and graduated with scholarships that paid my way through college. In college I was on the Dean's list every semester, was a member of the honor society, and received more scholarships. However, getting through school was much harder for me than it was for the average person. My health has been very influential in my life as I am a brain cancer survivor and have had to overcome many obstacles. During these times of need, the people who have been most influential in my life are my family, close friends, and God. I am extremely thankful for all of the support and guidance they have given me in my life. I don't think I would be where I am today without them. During my leisure time I enjoy kayaking, scrap booking, doing arts and crafts, spending time with children, and going shopping.
28, Middletown, CTHello and thanks for visiting my profile! I'll start by saying that I have lived in CT most of my life. I have three siblings and like to spend time with them whenever I can. My faith and family are important to me. I'm also strongly pro-life and hope to get more involved with this in the future. I went to the March for Life a few years ago and it was so encouraging to see so many people there! I'm also very quiet and shy when I first meet someone new but I become more open and talkative as I get to know the person. I'm a shy introvert that is trying to be more outgoing :) I asked some of my friends how they would describe me and here are some of the things they said: Compassionate, sweet, loyal, down to earth, genuine, and honest. Some things that I like/enjoy/interest me: Poland (most of my family lives there and I love visiting them!), history (especially WWII Polish history), reading, TV shows and movies (I recently got Netflix and have to admit that I have been doing some binge watching of shows), long drives/road trips, visiting museums and historical sites, NYC, music, Easter (it's my favorite holiday) One thing that I don't like is filling out profiles like this :)
26, Colchester, CTHey everyone! I run a family advocacy group working to improve services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to use my experience in legislative advocacy to help those in need, and I'm really looking forward to this new chapter in my life! In my spare time I like to go running, meet friends for lunch or coffee and enjoy good conversation. I'm always open to try new things and love spontaneous adventure! Ultimately I am looking for my best friend who I can love God with. I imagine him being kind, patient, and not one to take himself too seriously :) In the process I hope to meet new people and learn more about myself and others. Thanks for stopping by my profile!
27, Stamford, CTHi, my name is Lory. I'm a NJ resident living in CT. I would describe myself as an inquisitive and active person. I love to travel for the cultural immersion and solitude. I'm a social creature but also enjoy time alone. Feel free to message me if I peak your interest.
