Hi, I'm Stephanie! It's lovely to meet you. I think it's fair to assume that we've never met before. And it sure seems a bit forward to put oneself out there looking for someone without knowing much about the other person. So, here's a quick list of some things you should know about me: 1. I'm a goofy, quirky, sarcastic girl with a deep, unapologetic love of bad puns. 2. I love letter writing more than anything as it combines the joy of writing with the joy of secretly being much older than my actual age. Other things I enjoy: record players, typewriters, and British mystery programs. So, fair warning, I'm either an old soul or Benjamin Button. 3. I've lived in two cities that have been listed as top ten most dangerous in the United States. I'm going to assume this just a correlation and not a result of me living there. 4. I'm Italian enough to live on pasta, Irish enough to reflect the sun, and German enough to have an unpronounceable last name. I grew up on the mean streets of a 1980s Connecticut suburb with my parents and sister. I was raised in a strong Catholic family, and my faith, my family, and my friends are the most important things in my life. 5. I was an English major and have a master's degree in fiction writing. As a direct result of this, I now work in an academic library and a public library (because one library just wasn't enough). 6. If I could have my childhood aspiration, I would be an artist. When not at a library, I'm usually making crafts, baking, drawing, decorating/organizing my apartment, or writing. 7. Some of my favorite things: exploring cities, traveling by train, badminton, the sound of snow falling, people laughing, art museums, dinner parties, the smell of wood smoke in the air, and cupcakes. 8. Some of my least favorite things: wolf spiders, the smell of fresh cut grass, step aerobics, people who claim a frozen mash of bananas is "ice cream" when they know full well it will never be real ice cream, and selfie sticks. I'm shy with an empathetic heart, loyalty for days, and excitement for conversation and the small things in life. Though I may not be the most intellectual in my knowledge of the faith and though I sometimes struggle, I'm looking for someone who puts their faith first, who makes me laugh, and who is as willing to keep trying as I am. Thanks for reading!

Passionate about family and close friends, spiritual maturity, developing new skills, discovering new places and blooming wherever i'm planted. Please note: I've intentionally left my profile answers short because for now i'm in the camp that likes the idea of sharing more after a connection has been made. Also, not looking for a pen pal but feel free to reach out and ask questions ;-)

I am pretty easy going, caring, kind hearted and I love to laugh. I am looking for someone who is intelligent, honest, compassionate and romantic at times.. Someone who has a big heart and is not afraid to show his feelings. Great sense of humor is a must ;) Someone who is outgoing and likes to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, going for walks, hiking, exploring new places, towns, cities or simply sitting on the grass and enjoying nature. I like going to restaurants from time to time (love sushi lately), comedy shows or cozy cafes... At the same time, I dont mind spending time home, watch a movie, relax and enjoy each others company.

So this is a bit strange trying to condense myself into a few sentences...I am easygoing and laid back but have a great sense of humor. I love to laugh and be social, but I also have substance and depth. I am very athletic and love to be outdoors and active, but I also know how to slow down and enjoy life. So there is a little bit about me, but when you get to know me you will find that there is a lot more too. I am looking for someone who is similar, who has goals and aspirations and is not afraid to pursue them. I am looking for someone who is smart and witty and makes me think differently. I want someone who wants to experience new things and, though it is super cliche, live life to the fullest.

I am passionate in living life to the fullest and enjoying everything life offers. I am caring, respectful, grateful, live life to the fullness, don't sweat the small stuff, straight to the point and definitely not into playing games. If I have changed even one life for the better, I haven't lived in vain. Enjoy spending time with my son, family and friends. Enjoy listening to Christian rock bands, Third Day my favorite band.

I love music and I'm eclectic in my music tastes - my favorite genre depends on my mood. My bucket list of travel includes places like Belfast, Reykjavik, Copenhagen, Prague, Budapest, Flanders. I prefer British television and independent movies. Yes to football, baseball and hockey. I love the winter and snow. I always eat dessert, sometimes first. I strongly dislike cats. I always cheer for the underdog. I change my mind regularly, usually hourly. I can't help but push boundaries/limits that someone else set for me, I tend to question authority a bit too much. I shiver when people use double negatives. I get grossed out by people who chew with their mouth open. I'm somewhat old fashioned but I am a firm believer in feminism and equality for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I take my catholic faith seriously, but I never preach and I (try to) go to church every Sunday - I find it very peaceful, cathartic. Ignorance makes me mental. I never give all of my secrets away at once. I believe that mystery and leaving something to the imagination is way more exciting than having it crammed down your throat.

Hi! I'm laid back, adventurous, wear my heart on my sleeve, passionate about human rights, Native American rights, cultural studies, my family & my future. I'm very close with my family, grew up on the west coast, came back east for school and am a ft student currently. I'm a filmmaker on the side. My god-parents were incredibly influential in my life, taught me about different cultures, helped me win the school spelling bee's and science fair ;) I love mini road trips, fun day trips, I adore ny and plan to move there to put down roots, I love the Yankees, I love watching hockey, I adore dogs, my favorite hotdog is from grays papayas but I really adore Italian food and yummy wine. In my leisure I adore having adventures with my kids and friends or sometimes just relaxing with a fun movie.

I'm independent and driven, but I always make time to laugh and unwind. As a violin teacher, music is central to many moments of my life. As a Catholic, God is central to all things in my life. Following Him isn't always easy, but I'm always up for challenge and adventure!
