I am an attractive, intelligent, warm and loving person. I am a generally happy person who looks on the positive side of things. Some of the things I enjoy are gardening, reading, hiking, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Most of my children are on their own and they range in age from 32 to 16. One of the things I enjoy doing the most is to travel . I love experiencing new places, people and cultures. Last year , I was lucky enough to visit Ireland, where I was able to find the place where my ancestors lived. One of my hobbies is genealogy. . I enjoy music and concerts and like most genres(except rap and heavy metal). I like to go to the movies or taking a ride to anywhere on a beautiful day. Even staying home with someone special to watch TV and have a glass of wine together. I enjoy learning about the world around me and try to keep current on what's happening in the world. I love nature and the beauty of God's creation and love to take a walk in the woods or along a beach. I would love to be able to share my life with someone and do some of these things together.

I'm passionate about my children, my grandchildren, my faith and music (all kinds). I love to make music, go to live concerts and listen to quality recordings. The experience of growing up on a farm in Nebraska, with the strong family heritage accompanying that legacy is the strongest influence in making me who I am. In addition to music, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, entertaining and fine wine I'm also on the boards of several non-profit organizations.

I am a "young" 59 year-old female who has practiced my Catholic faith all my life. I have been very fortunate to have had a number of mentors along the way, including from my parochial school days (grammar school and graduate school, e.g. laymen, priests and deacons) and in my successful professional career. I grew up in a household with strong religious and moral values supported by a great belief system. My father, in particular, played a major role in my life -- teaching me the importance of teamwork and respect via the key channels of athletics. I have carried those teachings and sportsmindedness with me throughout my life. One of my major accomplishments in this area was being part of a female high school softball team who won the CT State Championship in 1975. I have volunteered on many committees and try to give back by my service to others who may be less fortunate than myself. I have a wonderful son, Liam, who is an resident assistant in his junior year (Dean's list) at Fairfield University, a private Jesuit college in Fairfield, CT. He is the light of my life. In my leisure time, I enjoy many athletic pursuits: working out, swimming, walking, hiking, golf, tennis, and travel. I am also an avid reader of different book types -- fiction, non-fiction and historic. Relationships are very important to me. Friends, family and romantic partners are part of this arena. I look forward to sharing and spending my time with someone who is successful, has an inquisitive mind, and follows the same value and moral system I do while having fun in the process.

I love my Church. It is small but mighty. I love my handicapped sister and I spend a lot of time taking care of her. If you can not deal with that, you can not deal with me. I ride a motorcycle. A trike because my balance is off a bit because of a past motorcycle accident injury. My late husband was a truck/bus mechanic. Old school/old values. Fourth degree Knight. There was no shade of gray with his nor my beliefs. Old school/Old values.
