My family, my faith, both mean the world to me. I look forward to spending as much time I can with my family whenever I can. My girls are growing up to fast. Now that my girls are grown and on there own it would be nice to have someone in my life to home to and enjoy the rest of my life with. Being a single parent of 2 grown girls plus a beautiful granddaughter. I enjoy working with kids and the elderly I learn so much from them. My mother has been the most influential person in my life. There's times I don't have any free leisure time because I'm either taking care of the elderly, meetings with the Columbiettes that I be long to or teaching kids which I love doing. I teach CCD.

I am passionate about my family. I have my children(6), their spouses, my grandchildren (12), niece and nephew and their children for dinner as often as possible. I love keeping in contact with them, but not to the point of interfering in their lives. My sister has dinner once a month for the rest of the family so we remain in contact with each other. Also, there have been priests in my past that have helped me with a divorce, annulment and marriage. Couldn't have done this without them. In my leisure time, I try to read, watch some TV and sometime go to movies. I have friends with whom I go to lunch once a month. We try to go someplace interesting before or after and then we take turns hosting coffee to round off the day. I have friends from high school that I see during the course of the year. I also go to school -- Ocher Life Long Learning thru the University of Delaware in Dover. Love learning just for the sake of learning!

I am passionate about my family and friends, I look forward to spending time with some people I consider my children and grandchildren. I facilitate bible study in my parish and it's one of the most enjoyable things I do. Most influential in my life? I would have to say my parents, as even though they are long deceased, I try to do things that I enjoy and would make them proud of me. Leisure time? read, bible study, SFO, other activities at church, bingo in our community with my sister, a little gardening, TV (NCIS, NCIS LA, other 'cops and robber' shows. I really enjoy cooking if there's someone to cook for. Traveling when I can afford it, which isn't too often on social security. I truly enjoy spending time with people! Even if it's just hanging out, going for coffee, taking a walk on the beach, etc. oh, I must include playing 'hidden object' games on the computer, doing cryptogram puzzles and crossword puzzles in the paper. ???? I love life!

How would I describe myself? The first thing that comes to mind is that I am exceptionally genuine and honest. I am compassionate toward others, yet not personally sensitive. I enjoy being around people, but not being the center of attention. I am a good listener, a loyal friend, have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. And oh, while I'm typing this, it just hit me that I am a terrible speller...thank goodness for spellcheck! I enjoy going to sporting events, especially Philadelphia Flyers games, amusement parks with roller coasters, concerts, road trips to anywhere, pretty much anything that involves an activity, and spending time with family and friends. The beach is my favorite place to be. I love everything about it...the surf, the sand, brisk walks along the shoreline, sunsets and the thrill of riding on a jetski. People say that I'm a good cook. I suppose I am...relatively speaking...I'll let you be the judge of that! I am happy with who I am, proud of my accomplishments, yet humbled by life's challenges. My Christian faith is an integral part of my life. It gives me strength and encouragement, and is the source of my optimism and desire to be a person of goodness. If my thoughts resonate with you, please take a minute to send me a quick message. Thanks for reading my profile! I wish you the best of luck in your search for someone to share the unwritten chapters of your life.

I was married for a VERY long time (shortly after high school). I have two beautiful daughters and five grandchildren who are a blessing. I like movies, live theater, playing cards, and dancing (especially to the oldies). I am outgoing and like to be on the go. However, I enjoy my time at home also.. watching tv or being with friends and family. Being single has it's challenges. I attend St. John the Beloved Church every Sunday, usually at the 11:30 am Mass. People tell me I am attractive and a fun person. So why am I alone?
