    I've just moved back east after a 3 year sojourn in the Midwest. Wichita was nice, but the East Coast is home. Going to games at The Yard is the highlight of my summer. I am an avid reader and enjoy all sorts of books. My collection does contain a fair bit more romance than anything else, but it's all shelved quite happily! Aristotle sits next to Johanna Lindsey, I think they are happy together :) I enjoy reading most things though, I like to broaden my mind, and my vocabulary! I also dabble a fair amount in writing. I've written 3 complete novels, though I've not yet gotten up the nerve to try and publish them. I like all sorts of music, particularly country and Christian, though I rarely say no to some blasts from the past like Green Day or Good Charlotte. I enjoy movies, my Netflix subscription and I get along quite well! Very few scary movies though, not really into those, I tend to watch dramas, or romcoms. Really, I'm a simple girl looking for friends and, just possibly, the love of my life. I'm a romantic at heart, though its protected by a sarcastic exterior, but my friends all think I'm cool! Hope to hear from you.

    Hi, all you Catholic dudes out there! I'm Anna. I like to think of myself as a pretty down to earth person. Currently working full time. I enjoy cycling, swimming, hanging out with friends, and serving others. Live in DE, work in NJ. No rush, but I am hoping to meet someone on here who wants to grow in love and faith together. I would like to have a family someday - one, two, adopt a few?

    I am passionate about my family and friends, I look forward to spending time with some people I consider my children and grandchildren. I facilitate bible study in my parish and it's one of the most enjoyable things I do. Most influential in my life? I would have to say my parents, as even though they are long deceased, I try to do things that I enjoy and would make them proud of me. Leisure time? read, bible study, SFO, other activities at church, bingo in our community with my sister, a little gardening, TV (NCIS, NCIS LA, other 'cops and robber' shows. I really enjoy cooking if there's someone to cook for. Traveling when I can afford it, which isn't too often on social security. I truly enjoy spending time with people! Even if it's just hanging out, going for coffee, taking a walk on the beach, etc. oh, I must include playing 'hidden object' games on the computer, doing cryptogram puzzles and crossword puzzles in the paper. ???? I love life!

    I love making people laugh. I am pretty goofy but also love discussing philosophy and classical literature. I love TV and art's and crafts. I'm super obsessed with my family and think they are amazing. I am very firm in my conviction to be a good person and to strive to be a saint. I agree with all Church teachings and I love God very much. I am easy to talk to and am almost always in a good mood.
  • Sue, 59 from Newark, DE

    59, Newark, DE
    I just moved back to Delaware after having been in Texas for 18 years. I have a large family here, and am looking forward to getting to know all of my grand nieces and nephews who have been born since I moved away. Being away from where I was raised for so long has made me realize how important family is. About a year ago I came back to the church after having been away for 40 years. Now I understand what it means to be on the "fringe," as most all of the friends in my life find it hard to understand how I have decided to do something so utterly uncool as to become religious. The turnabouts in life can be pretty absurd sometimes, and it's a challenge to witness to faith in the midst of today's social climate. I'm looking forward to comparing notes with others out there who have experienced the same thing. Luckily there are plenty of Catholics in my family, so I do have that support on the family front. I love old time fiddle music, and dancing of all kinds; square dancing, swing, zydeco... and just plain old rock-n-roll. I don't mind if you don't like to dance, but if you don't, I hope you don't mind if I do so on my own sometimes, as it's one of my great joys. I don't dance nearly as much as I did in my earlier days, but I can only hope that I'll keep kickin' long into the future. I like to cook, and wish I had more time for it. I like to walk in the country, go garage sale shopping for treasures, and every great once in a while I pick up my guitar (which is quite dusty right now). To be honest, I have to say that I'm not consumed with thoughts of meeting a life partner the way I used to be. Strangely, this is more true now that I've become a practicing Catholic again. I guess I'm just more content now, and I think of a husband in terms of "icing on the cake," not a big focus. Rather, I think it would be really nice to know a catholic man that could be a good friend, and who might inspire thoughts of marriage once we become familiar. I'd like to just meet and "see what happens" as they say.

    34, Distrito de Lima, PE
    Hi, my name is Julissa. I am Peruvian and my native language is Spanish. My English level is basic, but one of my goals is to be fluent in English. What fascinates me is the career I chose. Being a professor of early childhood education and the daily contact between my students and me is a motivation. I learn with them and they transmit me joy. Every morning before we start our class we pray the Our Father and the Hail Mary and they participate with petitions too. I am a person of faith and I want to transmit that to my students. I define myself as charming and good looking woman, who is perseverant, hardworking to reach goals in my life. I come from a strong catholic roots. I thank God for everything he has given me. My mother is like an angel to me that God sent me. She taught me about Gods love, Christian values since I was very young. I like to have fun too. During my spare time I go to the gym, where I practice spinning, running. I have also participated in running 10Ks, that is part of my life. I like to cook specially Peruvian food that is considered one of the most delicious in the world.. I like to travel, dance and enjoy nature. I look for someone who is open yo find love anywhere. If i can meet around my country is satisfaying. But if is not, then has to be someone and who dares to find love abroad , far away if is the case , because I would dare .Speak spanish or a little bit is a bonus.Im studying english right now , basic but improving .Did I mention I like to dance and travel ? Hopefully my match too
  • Kathy, 53 from Wilmington, DE
    {%action_menu%}
    53, Wilmington, DE
    My name is Kathy and I would say that I am most passionate about travel. My mom and I travel once each year, and it is always internationally. The world opens up when you see and experience other cultures, other ways of life. We traveled last year to Egypt, Jordan and Israel. It was an amazing and eye opening trip, but also sad when we saw the abject poverty in Egypt due to their poor economy that took a dive after the Arab spring across the middle east and North African countries. Israel was amazing but I was saddened as it appears there will never be peace there, not in my lifetime, at least. I take a lot of photos when we travel and then I scrapbook those photos. It is always a huge project as I have to try to decide what photos get printed for the book. I enjoy movies, going out to dinner and even going for a walk in my leisure time.
