Hi there! I am at the heart of it all, a fairly simple girl. I love to spend time with friends and watch sports. I hang out with my dog at the park (as long as it's not muddy). I enjoy the simple things in life, like unseasonably warm weather, the smell after a thunder storm, silly mushy stuff like that. I believe that character and integrity are our most important assets. When the day ends and the money is gone, the one thing that can't be taken from us (besides our faith) is our integrity. I define character as what you do when no one is looking. There is a lot more I could say. I'm multi-faceted and have an insanely broad range of things I enjoy...literally from baseball to the ballet. But, after April it's mostly baseball! I love good food and wine and will try just about anything twice. I have a tendency to be passionate about things I believe in, but some times it takes me a while to warm up. I love to laugh...at myself and other people (as long as they're laughing too). I love most kinds of music and activities. I'm nowhere near as active (outdoors) as I would like to be, but would love to be a jogging/hiking/camping partner.

I'm the type of women that makes a house a home. I've got a smile most say lights up the room. It makes me the life of the party at times. Other times it's a magnet for great conversation. Everything from current events to irony and humor where you can't stop laughing. I have an action packed career and volunteer commitment that keep me challenged daily. There's no such thing as a dull day. I start and end my day in prayer. I'm kind, sassy and quippy :-). I enjoy a good debate but, would love to hear what you're passionate about more. It's nice to learn something new and hear a fresh perspective. Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death - Albert Einstein Quotes and words of encouragement are my favorite. I collect them and share them with friends and family often. I'm affectionately Ms. Sunshine. It's my gift among other talents and I share it freely. Family and faith are among my top priorities. While I can be the life of the party, I prefer low key activities. Hiking on a local paths, traveling, trying a completely new receipts or putting some finishing touches on a favorite one. And my absolute favorite reading or listening to a good book. I'm looking for a friendship that evolves into a meaningful relationship. A good match for me will put God first, be similarly driven in his career, have a good sense of humor, hold meaningful conversation. I believe sound communication, a shared purpose, loyalty and chemistry are important. Send me a message if your interested.

What are you passionate about, what do you look forward to the most? My passion is to help people in general. I care for people in what they go through. It can be they are unemployed, a parent having no food or clothes for his/her children, without a place to live. It is very hard sometimes to watch people in group of prayers are very tense. They cannot sing, praise and pray because they carry too much burdens and suffering. What experiences and/or people have been the most influential in your life? My mother first of all. She fought for us making sure we get an education. My supervisor who always believes in me although I am shy and always pushes me to advance. The priest of my community and the leader of my group of prayer who are my advisers. Pope Francis who is the most humble person I have ever seen. What do enjoy doing with your leisure time? Well, I dont do too much during my leisure time. I do like reading. Some of my best books are John The Cross and St Therese dAvila. I do like sports in general. I like music classic, modern, Caribbean and African. I go once in a while to a happy hours (sometimes professional), theater, the last movie I watched was Risen and the next may be Ben-Hur. I like visiting museums, parks, science exhibitions depending of my time as I just come out from school.

The first thing to know about me is that I'm not very good at writing online profiles LOL. I love my family! I enjoy being outdoors in nature and reading. I am a fun, goofy, yet laid back kind of girl. My journey in faith is my highest priority. I moonlight as an Airman in the Air Force.

I truly enjoy my life and I'm looking for a man who also has a pleasant disposition and a positive outlook on life. I'd describe myself as having traditional values with a progressive outlook, and an easy-going nature. I'm a Midwesterner, and relocated to DC almost three years ago. My hobbies and interests vary, but I'm open to trying new experiences. Living in DC gives me wonderful opportunities to do many of the things I love, such as going to museums and galleries, concerts (preferably smaller, intimate venues), embassy tours, restaurants and lounges, sporting events (although I'll always be a fan of the Chiefs and the Royals!), shopping and spending time with distant family members with whom I've become acquainted since I relocated. It would be great to find someone to share these things with, and who would share his life with me. Equally important is someone who has the time to cultivate a relationship. Everybody's busy nowadays, me included, but I've always believed that we make time for the things we really want to do.

It would be wonderful to meet fellow Catholics from the area to share in fun activities and encourage each other in our spiritual walks. I'm originally from Kenya but have been in the US for 14 years.
