Hello! I'm a fun-loving, caring, passionate and genuine person who loves to travel. My family and friends mean the world to me and I love spending time with them. I find the most joy in helping others. If you've ever heard Brendan James' song "All I Can See" that basically sums up what I strive for every day. You can find me out and about in DC or jetting off for a new adventure. I like to stay active, whether it's going to the gym, playing tennis or going for a hike. Mostly because I love DC's excellent food scene! As much as I love staying busy, I do cherish those nights in on the couch with a glass of wine or bowl of ice cream! My large family has had a huge impact on who I am today, which includes my faith. My faith keeps me grounded, and although I often struggle in my faith as most others, it is deeply engrained in who I am. I'm looking for a partner to join me on life's adventures, someone who will challenge me to be the best possible version of myself. A guy who shares similar values and who has an adventurous, optimistic and caring personality. Overall, I'm a down to earth kind of girl with a bubbly personality, so if you are interested in getting to know me, send me a message and I look forward to talking to you!

I am passionate about living life and defending life. My faith and family are the pillars that keep me grounded and give me the reason for my joy. I believe we are all created for a purpose and that the Lord does not disappoint. I have been teaching and coaching for eleven years and I love what I do. I am energized by my "kids" and look forward to mentoring them each day. It is definitely a challenging job -- don't get me wrong -- but even during the tough days, there is always that silver lining. God gives me the strength to push forward. The kids definitely keep me young. Thankfully, I have a faithful and loving (and crazy-hilarious!) family who has led me where I am today. Besides my own parents, my grandmother is one of my heroes. She was an amazing wife and mother and I hope to emulate her one day. She truly lived the Catholic vocation of marriage and motherhood. In this day and age, marriage hardly seems like a sacrament. She and my grandfather fulfilled their vows to the fullest. My deep love for the Catholic Church stems from her and my parents' examples. Family encouragement kept me faithful to the Church's teachings, and I always loved the Lord and Our Lady, but I honestly fell in love with Christ in when I was in high school during one of the Franciscan Summer Youth Conferences (1997). That's the year I realized for the first time how much God loved me. I realized to my surprise that a real relationship existed with the Lord. In my spare time, I love playing volleyball, baseball, love to swim and absolutely love to hike in the mountains..or anywhere beautiful. I love my trips to the beach! I enjoy painting, making films (haven't done that in years), singing, and other "artsy" things. I am very social and sometimes can't make myself work on things that require some patience -- like learning my guitar. ;) It's definitely a goal! I am obsessed (in a not-so-healthy way...jk) with music. I'm the coolest geek you'll ever meet. (I teach chemistry.) Oh. And I love to laugh. :)

I like to read, write, and think. I want to become a truly loving person and learn to trust God completely. I was forever changed by living in Japan for six years and I'm still contemplating the mystery of the humility and gratitude of the Japanese.

Ok here it goes. I'm athletic and have played sports my whole life. I'm social and enjoy meeting people, but I hate being the center of attention. I like learning because there's always something new out there. Oh and once I get to know you, I can be pretty goofy, ya know act like we're 5 years old.

Currently in D.C studying what I love, Theology of Marriage and Family. JPII style. I am extroverted, so I love meeting new people, and I prize one-on-one interaction and quality time. I like to hike and be active, though my natural inclination is to chill all day, haha.

I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, and traveling whenever I have the opportunity. I taught for a number of years in the U.S. and abroad before going back to school to earn my law degree. I now practice law in Washington, DC, where I grew up. I am happy being back in the city, close to family, and I enjoy trying new restaurants and activities with friends. I also love sports -- ND football, BC hockey, the Nats, and the Caps are some of my favorites -- and I've recently picked up golf. A good 80s playlist and a nice glass of wine can easily make my night.

Well hey! Do I enjoy leisurely activities like reading, making Presidents' Day cards, crosswords and chatting with friends? You bet. Do I like running, hiking, kayaking, skipping and frolicking in all weather climates? Yes, indeed. Is it a scientific fact that I have the cutest nephews and nieces in the continental US and beyond? 9 out of 10 dentists agree that I do. Can you handle the fact that I will most likely pick flowers from all public places? If not, then we probably wouldn't even be friends.

I'm passionate about helping others experience happiness and joy, in their daily lives. At the end of each day, I ask myself if I've made a difference in someone's life & if the answer is yes, then I've done what God has called me to do. My mother has been the most influential person in my life, because she taught me never to compromise my integrity for anyone or anything. In my free time I enjoy the company of good friends, reading a good book or rocking out to my favorite music.

Hello, Thank you for taking your time to read my profile. My name is Michelle and I'm 33 years old. I was born, raised and grew up in Cameroon (Central Africa) in a strong and lovely catholic family. Landed in US almost 3 years ago, I live and work in Washington, DC and love activities and outdoors of this city. Of course, I miss my family and sisters back home but find in God peace and joy. I recall myself 3 years ago with language, integration, cultures,weather... issues and some of them still remain especially loneliness during Thanksgiving, Xmas, Easter or summer vacations. Today I really wish to settle down find someone who would be my partner (best friend husband, brother in Christ... my other me) who will continue this journey with me and build together a lovely catholic family. As woman/person, I love laugh and be happy. More than a creed, positive attitude is a mindset for me. I am very calm, focus hard working and ambitious in term of work and/or long term projects. In a relationship, I am very romantic and like/enjoy special attentions from my man... I believe in LOVE, true love:) I enjoy outdoors, arts, museums, readings, listen music, dance, hiking and take care of my body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit... but most importantly I like to be happy. My personal creed is "Never give up... I can do all things trough Christ who strengthen me".

I recently moved from San Francisco to Washington because I wanted a job that had more to do with politics. For the past six months, I've been in a rotational program at NBC News getting an up-close look at TV production during an election. I have a small group of close friends who mean the world to me. Laughter keeps me sane, and my laugh is, well, hearty. I love anything and anyone who can draw it out of me. My mom says I would attend the opening of a shoebox, by which she means I like to get out and do new things. Hiking and playing tennis are my favorite activities. And, although I have not traveled as much in the past few years, it is really important to me that you have a passion for it too. My favorite trips so far have been to Italy and to Austria.

I'm a Midwestern transplant who has been in DC for a few years. I was raised Catholic but in a fairly liberal environment and sort of put all that aside for a few years during college and my early 20s. But I am now finding my way back to the faith as I seek to find more meaning and spiritual fulfillment, as well as recommit to living a life of service as compared to the last few years of my life which have been very me-focused (applying for grad school, going through the program, getting a job, getting my own apartment, etc.).
