54, Boise, IDMy smile is one of the first things you'll notice about me. I'm a cheerful person with a positive outlook on life. I'm an eternal optimist, and I make the best of every situation. I have a good sense of humor, and I like to be a little silly and playful at times. I have a kind and compassionate heart and a very caring nature. My deep faith keeps me grounded and balanced even through the trials and tribulations of life. I spent most of my life in Wisconsin, but after a short stint in Arizona, I moved to Idaho for a new job in 2010. I'm a veterinarian, so of course I love animals, especially cats. Don't worry though-I'm not a crazy cat lady! I'm happiest when I'm outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature and all of God's creation. It sounds cliche, but I go easily from jeans and sneakers to a dress and heels. I don't mind getting dirty working in the yard or on the house or sweating at the gym, but I always wear a dress to Sunday Mass. A healthy lifestyle is important to me, and I like to stay physically active-paddleboarding and sit-on-top kayaking in the summer, and snowshoeing and Nordic skiing in the winter to name a few. I enjoy the simple things in life-a beautiful sunset, the birds singing, a starry night, a walk in the park. I'm easy to get along with and easy to please. I am a loving, supportive companion, and I will bring you peace and joy. No high maintenance or drama here!
28, Caldwell, ID"To be in love is both to intend and to promise lifelong fidelity. Love makes vows unasked; can't be deterred from making them." C.S. Lewis was a pretty smart man, seems he knew what's what. Tolkien was pretty awesome too, creating his own language and all. Books and I are great friends and that's probably why I chose a career in the field of Library Science. I love my job, and it's an integral part of a library system. If I had more money than I knew what to do with, my personal book collection would be quite a bit larger. Steampunk is brilliant, as are superheroes, zombies, vampires, werewolves and other mythological and fairytale creatures...and I enjoy playing in those worlds. I appreciate things that are well written with proper capitalization, spelling and grammar, since, in this era of 'text speak', nobody seems to use it anymore. My interests are many and quite varied. I know what I believe and what I want and I'm not willing to compromise on those, not for anyone. So in my spare time I am a writer, a dreamer, a gardener, a singer (as long as no one else is around since I can't carry a tune), an animal lover, a baker, a chef, a supporter of those that give us our freedom, a photographer, a camper, a fisher-woman, an aunt, a sister, a daughter, a niece, a cousin, a granddaughter, and a nerd/geek. I love black and white pictures because I just think that they have more character than other photos. I adore all things Celtic/Gaelic/Irish and wear a Claddagh ring. I like volleyball and swimming, Notre Dame and the Packers, fairs and rodeos, Irish pubs, and my ideal summer vacation is a roadtrip across America visiting ghost towns and historical sites and houses. I would love to live on a ranch someday...I've only wanted one since I was five years old. If you want to know more than what's on my profile page, don't be shy, and just ask. I mean, that's what we are all here for, isn't it? To communicate with others? Also, if some one views my profile, I'll generally take a peek at theirs too. Especially if I want to finish reading their introduction.Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by! :D

I moved here about a year and a half ago from southern California.I have learned in my live that I do not know what I am looking for.
