Are you a Catholic man who truly follows God? Ruth 1:16 is where my heart leads me now without a doubt. I have and am witnessing others on this grand adventure and I am fully prepared to follow you if you set the course and lead. I've immersed myself in the single, career-oriented, friend-filled life for decades. It was a good place for some growth, but I'm ready to truly thrive and sacrifice for something much bigger and better. Are you? Let us begin.

I strive to be a positive, caring person -- in friendship, work or play. I love the adventure each new day brings & look forward to making it one - busy or not! As the eldest daughter & middle child of 4, life in my now large extended family lends charm, fun, & organized chaos -- never a dull moment! I thrive on using as many of my God-given gifts and talents as I can in what I do everyday. I have taught in both parochial and public schools. Besides teaching, sales, and some work in the computer field, I am currently full time in the corporate arena. On hiatus from teaching, I know I am called to do every/anywhere besides a classroom --hopefully as a future wife and mother one day. I am close to my family both here in central IL and NW Indiana and seek to always be so, wherever God's will leads me. I like to think I can come across as a quick-witted, joyful, energetic, song-filled entertainer, conversationalist, listener, thinker, prayer warrior, motivational speaker & friend. I value God's gift of other people in my life and look to their gifts & talents as a source of inspiration & emulation. I love to learn & am fascinated with learning & informational activities or shows. Ok, so I also adore analyzing why and how things are/work/came into existence. About 5 years ago, I took up dancing as a cheap and fun hobby - salsa, swing, ballroom to name a few! I have a "bucket list" that changes year to year, but overall, I want to keep learning and doing new things until I am unable to move, serving God the whole way. To Jesus through Mary....

Hmmm, Ok. I love my family. I love to laugh. I am a nurse on a mother baby unit and I spend too much time there. Working hard to be a good christain but my humanity gets in the way. I was an only child to loving parents. I was raised catholic, attended catholic schools. I'm shy but once you know me you wonder where the shy person went, funloving and laugh easily. I have 6 grown children and 26 grandchildren. (I bet that scared alot of you away). Was married 40yrs ( I didnt believe in divorce, still don't but....sometimes it just has to be). I enjoy cooking and antiques. Lets see...Favorite Movie Brave Heart. I enjoy books about Gods love for me and books on lifes of the saints. My favorite saying or quote "Humility is not thinking less of yourself its thinking of yourself less. St Jean Vinney and I also like the saying," Motherhood is like being pecked to death by chicken." funny huh? ... Im a pro life voter. Ive been trying to exercise more. I love Zumba, but I pinched a nerve so kind of taking it easy for a while. So I will just walk the dog.

I am a small town newspaper editor. I don't have a lot of free time, but I do make it a point to volunteer at a pregnancy resource center called Birthright because it's important to me. I would like to meet someone with similar values, an old-fashioned gentleman.

I would describe myself as intelligent, trustworthy, fun loving and full of integrity. I'm the cheerleader in the group. I always try to find the silver lining in the cloud and I look at the glass half full in life situations. As we go through life we all have challenges, but it is how you deal with them that determines your character and your destiny. My passions include my faith and my family. I think it's important to have a good sense of humor and an interest in people to cultivate lasting friendships. I'm a very active person, exercising 5 to 6 times a week. I love to bike, take long walks with my dog, dance, kayak, and enjoy life. I have 3 great kids who are off leading their own interesting and independent lives. I've spent 30 plus years working as a nurse in a major medical center and now I have the opportunity to pursue different, new and personal interests and goals that I'm excited about. I have done some traveling, but would love to do more in the future.

I believe my family and friends would describe me as being kind, honest, trustworthy, and fun-loving. I always try to think of others before myself in everything I do. I always enjoy spending time with friends whether it be hanging out on each others patio's during the summer or heading out to listen to a band.

I'm a faith-filled, family-oriented person looking for someone to share the journey of life with. Family and friends are very important, as is my Catholic faith. I'm involved in several church activities that keep me busy two to three evenings a week. Other times, I'm working on some art project or another. I just recently started a small business for my artwork, though it is still very much in the fledgling stages, and I'm trying to figure out everything that goes along with it. Maybe one day, it will be successful enough that I can make a real living from it. My biggest hobby is creating artwork, and many people have told me I need to sell it, hence the tiny new business. The style of my work is abstract, shaded shapes, often centered around a Christian theme. I have a whole set of pieces devoted to colors and their meanings. Other hobbies include music, movies, TV, reading, art, and theater, to name a few. I like a wide variety of genres, though The Beatles are my favorite band, Impressionism is my favorite era of art, and I love classic literature (Dickens, Austen, etc.) I also enjoy gardening on occasion. I love most animals, especially my cat, who is both feisty and affectionate. I draw the line at insects and arachnids, though!

As I write this, I am passionate about the possibilities of a new year. I'm a romantic soul with a penchant for coffee, movies (current and classic) and adventures-be it a get together with friends for the evening or a sojourn into the city. I enjoy conversation/witty banter and love to discuss and debate ideas. I also enjoy a good book, an art museum, and good music, be it a symphony or something more modern. I care deeply about the people in my life and value quality time with family and friends.

I'm very close to family and I am very connected to my nieces and nephews. Family is important to me. I'm looking for a relationship based on honesty, trust, friendship, laughter and common interests.
