I strive to live a virtuous life and my faith guides my every decision, whether big or small. I am a practicing Catholic who loves the Church, her teachings, and learning more about the Faith. My family and friends are important to me, so I spend a lot of time with them. Most people who know me, know that I do not curse or drink. I'm easygoing and love to have good, clean fun. I take serious matters (ie.- moral and faith issues) seriously; but I do still have a sense of humor (sarcastic/witty) and love to laugh, as well as make others laugh. I can be rather shy, once I'm more comfortable though I tend to joke around a lot. I enjoy helping people and am always interested in learning new things, such as an instrument or foreign language. I'm very passionate about the pro-life cause and like to volunteer when I can. The summer before my senior year in college, I went on a 1300 mile pro-life walk (along the NE coast) that had a profound impact on my life. Along with the unborn, I also have a great love for animals. I also really enjoy DIY & home improvement projects. Over the years, my dad and I have completed many projects together (finishing a basement, building a deck, tile backsplash, etc).

I strive everyday to keep Christ at the center of my life. My Catholic faith is very important to me and influences my decisions and way of thinking. I taught middle school Spanish for three years, and now I teach Spanish at a Catholic high school. I'm in grad school to get a masters in Educational Administration. I studied abroad in the Dominican Republic and in the UK. My faith was deepened during college and it has changed the way that I live my life. I am close with my family. I like to read, work out, watch tv, travel, dance, take pictures, and try new things. I am compassionate, friendly, and upbeat. I love to be silly and to make people laugh. I loved going on a pilgrimage to Rome (and would love to go back) and I would like to travel to many new places. I did a mission in El Salvador and attended World Youth Day in Madrid. I have also traveled to Mexico, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Ecuador, and Nicaragua. I have completed two mini triathlons. I like to be spontaneous and I'm very flexible. I seize the day and I like to spend time with others who like to do the same!

I am a small town newspaper editor. I don't have a lot of free time, but I do make it a point to volunteer at a pregnancy resource center called Birthright because it's important to me. I would like to meet someone with similar values, an old-fashioned gentleman.

I would describe myself as intelligent, trustworthy, fun loving and full of integrity. I'm the cheerleader in the group. I always try to find the silver lining in the cloud and I look at the glass half full in life situations. As we go through life we all have challenges, but it is how you deal with them that determines your character and your destiny. My passions include my faith and my family. I think it's important to have a good sense of humor and an interest in people to cultivate lasting friendships. I'm a very active person, exercising 5 to 6 times a week. I love to bike, take long walks with my dog, dance, kayak, and enjoy life. I have 3 great kids who are off leading their own interesting and independent lives. I've spent 30 plus years working as a nurse in a major medical center and now I have the opportunity to pursue different, new and personal interests and goals that I'm excited about. I have done some traveling, but would love to do more in the future.

After a short stint in teaching (which I loved but didn't like the politics) I am now very happy working in a national chain hotel. It allows me to show off our community's wealth of locally owned restaurants and shops along with some of our eclectic shopping venues. I am a HUGE advocate of the fine arts so I like to showcase that and I attend as many theatre, music and arts events as possible. I love trying new things and taking in new adventures. I have been skydiving and really enjoyed it. Would like to try ziplining and parasailing some day. I am enjoying the ability to travel and see sights that haven't I seen. There are lots of places to go in the world to explore.

Hi! Happy Day! The most important thing that you should probably know about me is that I want to be a saint. I want to one day by in a holy marriage that draws other people closer to the Heart of Jesus. This might sound intense, and I guess it is, but it's real. And I might as well get it all out on the table from the get go. My family and friends mean the world to me and being with them brings me a lot of joy. Laughing with them is my #1 favorite activity. In my free time, I enjoy painting, cooking, drinking beer and learning random tidbits about anything. I'm a classic extrovert so all of these activities are most enjoyable when I have people surrounding me. I want to be outdoorsy, but I need a push in the right direction. I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Special Education. Message me if you'd like to know more. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

I look forward to the simple things in life and taking the time to enjoy them. Enjoying nature's beauty is something I am passionate about. My day feels incomplete if I don't get a chance to spend time outside. Sunsets and sunrises, seeing how the sun's rays filter through the cloud formations, the sound of leaves rustling on the trees, seeing the sunlight create glittery lights on the surface of the Mississippi River, listening to the call of the birds or the chirp of a cricket are just a few of the simple things I enjoy. I am hoping to find someone to share the beauty of an ordinary day with. I am also passionate about reading. I enjoy fiction and non-fiction, magazines, books, and especially picture books. Browsing in a bookstore or library is one of my favorite indulgences. I visit the library at least once a week, oftentimes more. It would be delightful to find someone who is also a reader to share thoughts with of what we are both reading. I also love seeing how people use their creativity to re-purpose something that was formerly considered junk. I find great satisfaction in transforming something old into something new and functional. I have taken several things placed on the curb as trash and up-cycled them into something useful; and had loads of fun and satisfaction with the process of transforming and creating. As far as leisure time goes...I appreciate unscheduled days. I do enjoy getting out and doing things (especially outdoors), but I also value downtime because my job has no downtime whatsoever in it. I'm okay with being alone, or even with one or two others in a small group. I'm not really a big group kind of person, if given a choice. But I can hold my own in most social situations, aside from the bar scene. It's just not for me.
