    57, Forreston, IL
I am a faithful Catholic who loves God and prays to do his Will. I do attend Mass every Sunday and on Holidays / Holy Days. I am a good and faithful servant to the Lord. I am close to my faith; caring, honest, trustworthy, loving, kind. I love animals and operate an animal sanctuary. I also have 2 horses. My profession is in the insurance industry. I like to go to movies, eat out, take walks, hike, bake and dance. All my life I just have wanted to be a loving, faithful wife and a mother. I have received my annulment and am free to marry in the Church. I believe that with God all things are possible and I hope in the future to be married to a faithful man who loves our Lord.
  • Christine, 30 from Peoria, IL
    30, Peoria, IL
I am a strong, resilient woman with a good sense of humor. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I am very loyal to my friends even if they live far away. I'm blessed to still be in touch with many old friends, and am always looking for opportunities to make new ones. I've grown a lot in the past several years and feel ready to find a wonderful, faithful man to share my life with. My Catholic faith and my relationship with God have always been important to me and remain so. I am a Latin and theology teacher. I love animals and I own two rescued greyhounds. I studied classics in undergrad and theology in grad school. I enjoy learning new things. My dream job would be to be paid to learn new things, like new languages, and re-learn things I've forgotten, like most of my high school math and science. I am definitely an introvert. I would rather have a quiet night of conversation with a few close friends than go out to a party with a lot of people I don't know very well. That doesn't mean I never go out, but it does mean that when I'm planning an event it's usually smaller and low-key. For me, the best part of getting together with someone is having a great conversation, and even in larger groups I try to find opportunities for those kinds of conversations. Some of my interests (in no particular order): psychology, neuroscience, psychiatry, ancient Greek literature and mythology, languages, crossword puzzles, theology, the Latin language, greyhounds and other dogs, orca whales, Christology

I've spent too much time thinking about retirement. The truth is, and God willing, I have several more years to work. I like my job and love the people I work with - so my new motto is to 'live in the moment' and make the most of each day, whether it be at work or outside of work. Family is very important to me and I've been blessed with a great one. I'm fairly active - like to travel, hike and take a yoga class several times a week. I also recently started playing pickleball - don't knock it until you try it - it's fun. I'm not into the bar scene, but enjoy a drink or two. I'm looking for someone who has family as a top priority, enjoys doing things outside - hiking/walking/golfing, etc - and is just as happy staying in and watching a movie as going out. One more thing - yes - I'm really 6' tall.
  • Denise, 31 from Sycamore, IL
    31, Sycamore, IL
Well hello there :) I'm more of a listener than a talker so I'd much rather be reading your profile than writing mine, but since it takes two to tango, let's dance... I'm a New Yorker living in the cornfields outside of Chicago because I believe this is where the Lord wants me for now. I love sports, but I'm just as happy to take off the jersey and put on a dress. Few things in life are better than curling up on the couch with a great book and a cup of coffee, but I enjoy traveling too. I love learning and trying new things. And I work out regularly (a shirt I used to have said it so eloquently: "I run so I can eat cake"). So if any of that sounds good to you, then say hello!
  • Morgan, 24 from Champaign, IL
    24, Champaign, IL
I'm a future nursing student and currently work in a Doctor's office. I would love to travel through Europe and see all the places I've only read about. I like to be connected with the world around me and like to keep up with world events and such. I enjoy trap and skeet shooting - something my dad and I always did together, and like to go to the shooting range whenever I get a chance. I tend to read a lot and I'm always looking for a good book - If you have one you enjoy let me know! When I have free time I enjoy spending it with friends and family, at the range, or walking my newly adopted puppy.

  • Angela, 56 from Plainfield, IL
    56, Plainfield, IL
Hi. My name is Angela. I am looking forward to starting a new phase in my life. In the next few years I will be moving into semi-retirement and cutting down my hours at work. After working full time for the last 35 years, I am really looking forward to that. In my leisure time I love to go to a play or the movies. I like trying new restaurants also.
  • Martina, 49 from Chicago, IL
    49, Chicago, IL
Irish born, Chicago Southsider closely connected to my family, faith and friends. Love sports, good music, great food and everything outdoors. Although I consider myself more of a 'sporty girl' I absolutely appreciate the fine arts. I'm open to watching a good game of college football (Notre Dame!) or watching the Blackhawks work their magic, but tickets to a ballet, opera or any local play production would be fine with me too. I'm a beach bum, lover of all things chocolate, shoe shopping and good books. Politics.........I'll participate if the discussion is intelligent. I like to laugh, have a self depricating sense of humor and try not to take life so serious. My parents are my heros.........they taught me the true meaning of love, loyalty, friendship, responsibility and kindness. I believe in thanking God every day for what I have - without my faith I am lost.

  • Candace, 26 from Belleville, IL

Hi I'm Candace! I'm a fun adventurous girl looking for someone fun, and spirited. I'm motivated, creative, and competitive so I'd like to have a partner who enjoys the same. I'm athletic, love sports, and am a dog lover. I'm a merchandiser so attention to detail is key. I'm a bit of a practical joker as well so a sense of humor is necessary. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, fishing, or just getting in my car blindly pointing at the map, and driving off into the sunset.
