61, Chicago, ILHello out there. . . Where to begin? I am a native Ohioan but a long-time Chicago resident. I now live just outside the city. I am extremely fond of good music (particularly classical and authentic jazz), good literature, good friends. Chicago is great fun but it's good to "escape to Wisconsin," as the slogan goes. Rural places are beautiful, especially when you're in a city most days. I'm pretty low-tech; prefer the real to the virtual. Would like to live a fairly simple life--have a vegetable garden, a book-lined living room and a dog or two. Generally like old things--older architecture, old books, old towns. But these things, as well as the city, are infinitely better when shared.
41, Chicago, ILI am a passionate reading specialist and love fine dining, the arts, history, and culture. I have focused on my career in education for about 17 years. I enjoy being with my family and being the 'fun' aunt. I want to travel more.
27, Chicago, ILTo start, why am I on here? Like most people, the bar scene is getting old trying to meet someone worth your time. So here I am.... A little about me: I work downtown and live in the city I just started grad school I try not to take life very seriously Faith comes first Family and friends are a close second I love sports (Blackhawks, Cubs, Bears and Florida Gators) Soccer is my main sport (I played D1) I want to travel more A little about what I'm looking for in a guy: Ideally lives in the city, but I'm open to the burbs Has a great sense of humor Leads an active lifestyle Is fine with a night in with some GrubHub and a movie occasionally Close with his family If there is anything else you want to know, just ask!
30, Chicago, ILI was briefly married in the Catholic Church, and I have since received an annulment thru the Catholic Church. It's been a very fruitful and rewarding journey to say the least. I have greatly learned from the experience, and blessed for a new beginning. I would be happy to share the details at the appropriate time, as I believe in honestly, truth, and loyalty. I hope to meet someone who I can share my life experiences with, but also help me to grow as a person, getting me even closer to God. A little bit about me, I am the oldest of 6 children, raised in a traditional Catholic home. I am very passionate about my Catholic Faith, my work, family and close friends. I am a very outgoing person with a geniune and sincere heart. I love to laugh and smile, and enjoy the simple things in life. I enjoy traveling, listening to country music, running, watching the Chicago Blackhawks, cooking, and learning more about my Catholic Faith.

29, Chicago, ILMusic, Food, French Fries, Coffee, Environment, Clothes, Smiling, Laughing, Friendship, Shiny Things, Purple, Violin, Owls, Tea, Classic Literature, Whiskey, Wine, Beer, Classical Music I realized I just listed a bunch of things I'm passionate about, but I figured it might be easier to read than a novel of my life's adventures. In a nutshell, I love learning new things and meeting people. Life is too short to forego opportunities. My grandma is a beacon of light and source of guidance in my life. She actively encourages me to practice my violin and tells the best stories about how she met my grandfather.
53, Plainfield, ILLooking for sincerity in a long lasting relationship in which the two of us can walk together with God. Family is very important to me and am hopeful that it is the same for you!
36, Decatur, ILI am a cradle Catholic, who was baptized in the same ceremony as my father. I love baseball and, in 2016, I got to see my team win the World Series! I am a schoolteacher for my local public school district. I love teaching school and watching my students learn, grow and change. I was a history minor in college and I pick an event or time period every year to learn more about. I have just completed World War I and I am moving on to the American Civil War. I love to laugh and I love animals. One of the highlights of my life was getting to see whale sharks in person. I love to read, spend time with my nieces, hang out with my friends and travel.
51, Chicago, ILI look at life as the glass is half full and look forward to conversations that makes me smile or laugh. I value relationships with family and friends and believe my grandmother had a great influence in my life. She was an amazing cook, strong in her faith, loved her family, great listener and always inspired you to do your best and persevere...she lived to be 99! Living in a sports town, I enjoy watching the Cubs, Blackhawks, football, golf, etc. It would be much more fun to go to a Cubs game or play a round of golf. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, being along the lakefront in the summer and discovering the many things the city has to offer.
