23, Mishawaka, INThis may come out sounding like a college application essay. But really, who's actually good at writing about themself? Recently graduated with my BSN from SMC. I just took my licensing exam and started as a registered nurse on a progressive care unit. I hope to eventually become a midwife. My family and my faith have had a big influence on my life. Discussions about the Faith, led by my brilliant Dad, are common-place in my house. Growing up, we always said a family rosary together at night. I am ashamed to say that as I've gotten older, this is a habit that I've neglected, but I try. I'm a Traditionalist and have been going to the Latin Mass for most of my life. I am the eighth of nine kids. My older siblings are all married and I have 25 living nieces and nephews. I am a very shy person when I first meet someone. I open up a lot when I get to know them and if I start talking about certain things I don't shut up. My friends and family can attest to me being a little crazy, but in a good way (I hope...). My sense of humor can be a little weird. I'm a dog person ( I particularly love big dogs, and I have a soft spot for black labs). My favorite shows are BBC shows: Doctor Who, Sherlock and Downton Abbey; but my favorite show of all time has to be I Love Lucy. I like to read when I have some free time.
28, South Bend, INI am most passionate about my faith. My faith is the only non-negotiable in my life. I am a cradle Catholic, and attend the Traditional Latin Mass. I was blessed to grow up in a close-knit family of faith-filled people. I am the oldest of four siblings, and I love my siblings dearly. I currently teach at a public middle school, and enjoy my work. It is imperative that all students with have every opportunity to achieve their potential. I am most passionate about teaching students with disabilities, and enjoy teaching language arts. My family is very important to me. Though we are in a few different cities now, we still keep in regular contact, and take every opportunity to spend time together. Our faith makes us strong, and we hope to welcome new members through the sacrament of Holy Matrimony. God bless you!
26, Fort Wayne, INHi! I'm a DRE at a church within the Diocese, though I'll be starting my PhD in the fall. I love my job! Teaching kids about the faith is awesome. I also love reading, cooking, running, and Bob's Burgers.
23, South Bend, INWhen I'm not taking care of my rabbits I'm reenacting medieval history. I play in music groups and am constantly wanting to learn new things. I started school to be a vet tech but had to drop out because of family. I have a cat and a dog besides my rabbits I raise. Ideally I would love to have a farm of my own and live off the land.
24, Fort Wayne, INI'm very passionate about creating things- I love to paint, knit, crochet, and I will try almost any craft at least once! (Unless it involves glitter. I refuse to clean up any glitter!) Summers for me are spent selling the things I make at various markets around Fort Wayne. I also spend a lot of time with my family. My mom, dad, and brothers have really influenced me and shaped me into the person I am today. Any leisure time I get is spent crafting and working on stock to sell during summers at farmers markets and antique markets. I also love reading, spending time with friends, helping my family, and, oddly enough, I really enjoy writing letters to people! I may have been born in the wrong century because I would much rather write a letter than talk on the phone!
