A recent transplant to Bloomington, I am thrilled to living in a college town again! I am enjoying both of my local parishes and am impressed by the inter-parish faith formation and social justice opportunities. The oldest of two, I am fortunate to have a bevy of cousins, and travel back to Nebraska is a regular part of my vacation time. When I'm not on the go, I am often knitting, writing, or exploring a new recipe in the kitchen.

I love being outdoors - especially near water and the beach. Love going for walks, bike rides...and working in the yard. I love sailing and the beach. Just to be on/near the water. My family and I go camping together every fall. I'm not great at tennis, golf or basketball, but love playing them anyway. I'm a big Notre Dame fan. Since I was a kid, my dad and I have watched ND football games together every Saturday. He and I tease my mom when she runs errands when the game's on. I'm a healthy eater and love to cook. I'm focused on clean eating, free of GMO's, pesticides, etc. And selecting meats from local farmers. Latest kitchen experiments are with wild rice, bacon and mushrooms. Love a great steak. My favorite dessert is still cake with yummy frosting! I lived in the Pacific NW nearly all my adult life, but moved here about 6 years ago. I'm really glad I moved back closer to my family. I traveled throughout the U.S. growing up and traveled to Europe & Scandinavia a couple times after college. My favorite places abroad so far have been Ireland and Norway. Two things created fundamental shifts in me that have lasted a lifetime: going to the concentration camp at Dachau; and crossing over into East Berlin before the wall came down. Hard to put into words, but it deepened my faith and my commitment to others in a profound way. A series of events led to my adopting two great boys/brothers. They're incredible kids, ages 10 and 12 now. I've had significant career opportunitinities, and-come-to-life doing big presentations. But, what's most important to me, is helping newer staff advance their skills. For many years, I was in charge of the student internship program at work. I believe that helping newer staff grow professionally is important.

Hey there! My name is Noah (yes, really--check out the book of Numbers and you'll find her story in there). I'm a bookworm, frequently devouring books on faith, history, psychology, and fictional stories. Curling up on a comfy couch, drinking hot chocolate, and reading the latest page turner I've found is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy being outside, be it hiking, camping, swimming, fishing, dirt biking, riding horses, free climbing, exploring abandoned buildings, and embarking on other adventures. I listen to music a lot, and I like going to Christian concerts. Spending time with friends is another thing I do, but even though I am a sociable introvert, I still have to retreat into the woods to get some alone/quiet time. If I'm not reading or being outdoors, I'm likely to be a church, in adoration, at mass, or volunteering.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a "young" senior looking for a man to share good times. I am a warm, considerate, honest, loyal, compassionate lady with a great sense of humor. I'm hoping to find someone who shares the same traits. I do volunteer work at the hospital 2 days a week, a very gratifying thing to do with my spare time. I have made many good friends that I have grown to appreciate. I also belong to the Sunday choir and the funeral choir at my church. I don't sing very well, in fact, I was thrown out of the choir as a freshman in high school. But, the choir director at church is much more forgiving than the high school director. who knows, maybe she has turned off my microphone. Anyway, it is fun. And I now am a Eucharistic Minister, visiting the home bound to administer communion. My biggest passion is travel. I have been on several ocean cruises and river cruises in Europe and China. It has been a few years since I've done that and am looking forward to continue travel. My favorite place is Italy, so much history, so many places to see and experience. I've been to Pompeii, would like to go back and spend more time exploring the ruins. Have been to Normandy. breath-taking. tear jerker. Wont ever forget. I enjoy cooking, don't do much lately, cooking for one is not much fun, but one has to eat. I enjoy eating out, going to plays, the movies and festivals. Taking long walks and holding hands with that special person is something I miss and am looking forward to that again. I am not a game player nor someone who uses other people. I am so honest, would appreciate spending time with someone who feels the same. Feel free to respond if I have piqued your interest.
