53, Indianapolis, INI have lived on the East coast, north and south, throughout the years and would love to move back to be by the beach. Nothing soothes the soul more than the sound of the waves, breathing in the salt air and observing the beautiful wildlife that resides by the sea. Reading, long walks in the sand and water, watching storms off shore, kayaking and surfing (though still learning) are just a few of the reasons to be by the water, not to mention the glorious sunrises and sunsets that God paints in the sky! I love to travel and experience new cultures and food. I have always had animals by my side, mostly cats but also dogs, birds, fish, rabbits, and all the little rodents that you can keep in an aquarium. I just have a couple rescue cats right now. Being a good stewart of the environment is very important to me.
30, Fort Wayne, INI'm originally from the East Coast. I have been living in Fort Wayne Indiana for 3 years, and the change has been good. Some of my favorite things to do is exercise, listen to music, art, and literature. I try to keep a positive perspective and sense of humor on some of the general things in life. Hey if you can't laugh, the days are just too long-haha!I studied business and designing at a Vocational Trade School in Boston MA. I currently work as a sales Rep for retail gift shop in town. I would love to find someone to share our lives together and raise a family! Any thing else you want to know just ask me.
23, Indianapolis, INHey! My Name is Katie. I honestly don't know what to say here so I'm just gonna type whatever comes to mind: My family moved to Indianapolis the summer before I would enter first grade and have been here since. I grew up in a Catholic household and we attended church every Sunday and prayed together. My siblings and I attended Catholic schools our whole lives (except for my younger sisters who have and are attending public school). I have had a number of hobbies throughout my life, some that have stuck with me include singing at all times of the day, reading nonsense news articles about things that simply don't matter, listening to music until I get bored of it (read: always listening to music and will never stop), catching up with my friends based on their social media presence (This makes me very sad to think about), and just finding interesting adventures to fill my time with. The final thing I want to say here is that I am an open book so ask me anything! I feel like it's hard to properly express myself here so let's grab coffee and talk :)
69, Salem, INI am passionate about the welfare of children and pets. I love to travel and enjoy new experiences; being with friends and family; my religion is important and a source of pride and comfort to me......but am tolerant of others. I am seeking an honest, caring man to have fun with and enjoy life.
29, Indianapolis, INI value my faith in God above all else. I am passionate about serving others, spending time with friends and family, mentoring college-aged women, and living life joyfully. In my free time I enjoy taking a walk, reading a book, soaking in outdoor beauty, and having quality conversations with others.
71, Dyer, INI love to go to the beach, or I would love to go boating. I like to laugh, be spontaneous, and just enjoy life and have fun. I also like to play Pinochle. I'm a people person and an outdoor person. I like to go to the show once in awhile. I would like someone who is genuine and honest and loves God and who wants to laugh and have a great time. Also, I would like them to be able to converse and carry on an interesting conversation. I would also like for them to be Roman Catholic so that we would be able to attend church together. The most influential person in my life was my father, who was a wonderful man.
72, Greenwood, INI enjoy family time, I enjoy being with my friends.. I like horse racing, and I enjoy going to the casino once and awhile. I'm a devoted catholic. I also enjoy traveling as much as I can, and I'm a huge ocean fan.
60, Indianapolis, INPassionate about my faith (growing in it) and my family (praying them into Heaven); all else takes second place. Annulment pending. Greatest influences; My parents, quite strict but built us to be strong, to love God, to be fair to others. Neither finished high school, which was fairly common during the War. It was impossible to fool my wise father on anything.... never kid a kidder, he would say! But he taught me many valuable lessons. I especially recall his kindness early one morning after a young man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into our parked new station wagon....this young man had no insurance so refused a trip to the hospital, my dad brought him in, cleaned his head wounds and took great care of him. When I asked him why he wasn't upset about the car, he firmly chastised me that cars can always be replaced but people cannot be replaced. That always made a huge impression on me. He wasn't a brick and mortar type of Catholic, but he lived his faith by example in the way he treated others and his indifference towards materialism. At his funeral, I was stunned by the many people, strangers many, divulging numerous stories of his aiding so many in need, always while rather impoverished himself. My mother was more of a devotional Catholic and more recently I have developed a fuller appreciation and understanding of how her prayers have benefitted me (and still do) and it humbles me in gratitude. . So they are my greatest influences and I hope they are smiling down on me. Leisure time? I spend way too much time on the computer and have cut that way back, except that I really enjoy writing and hope to publish someday. I love my dog, had two until recently. I read a lot, lovelovelove music and in my imagination I am an amazing dancer but reality is more like Elaine on Seinfeld. I try to go swimming at the YMCA several times a week to get in better shape and I really enjoy that, eat pretty healthy. Pilates 2 times a week. Love wave running and jumping waves whenever I get the chance. Politics is one of my many passions, so a bit distracted these days! I love old movies which is a passion I inherited from my mother. I'm especially fond of World War 2 movies based on hearing my father's experience in the army. Or any movie that I find edifying or based on a true story I always enjoy. Enjoy remodeling and decorating. I would like to study photography, I am drawn to snapping away at sunsets and autumn scenes or nature in general.
33, South Bend, INI currently teach liberal arts/humanities courses to college undergrads. Hopefully I'll be able to make a career out of what I take to be my vocation (research and teaching). Aside from spending time with friends (few, but firm), I enjoy long leisurely walks (especially on the beach), horseback riding (though only do that rarely), cooking, reading (literature, philosophy, theology), and good conversation.
55, Westfield, INI a honest loving and faithful Lady with opend characters patient and tolerent. Will love to meet someone loving and caring to spend rest of my live with.
64, Jeffersonville, INHi, My name is Janie. I have been a widow of almost two years. My husband died of pancreatic cancer. Its been very hard adjusting. I am a people person and enjoy the many friends I have. I love quiet time with someone, holding hands, football, golf (I'm not good at anymore) and entertaining. I have traveled a lot over the last 33 years. I'm very affectionate, loving and would love to meet someone that is also affectionate. I want a long term relationship with a person I see as a gentleman. If this sounds like you I'm waiting.
41, Fort Wayne, INAn educator at heart, I am also the consummate student. I love to learn and focus less on the accomplishments of my past and more on the potential I have yet to fulfill. I come from a family of educators, so it is in my blood, but it is also in my heart. The very art of teaching is supported by the openness to learn from others. Meeting new people of all cultures is my preferred educational venue. I appreciate learning about various cultures and historical elements. I am fascinated by diversity but also by how much we are alike in so many ways. As one who values learning and education, I consider myself an intellectual with a capacity for silliness...a great combination! The perfect guy for me would have a quick wit and curious intelligence that would allow for dialogues of depth and meaning, yet his fun and quirky sense of humor would always be close at hand. I can talk about European history in one moment and then discuss the finer points of handling an ATV in the mud in the next moment. Another form of diversity exists in being well-versed in any number of topics. Never a dull moment! As a partner, my areas of expertise include, but are far from limited, to honesty, loyalty, and compassion. I am also very passionate and demonstrative. You will never have to guess how much I care for you. You will simply feel it. I am one who will support you through the challenging times and champion you in the best of them. Of course, I am not immune to the loving reciprocation of such affections, either. What I admire in a man is one who is confident and self-assured, fully aware of his path and passions in life. However, he refuses to entertain ego and arrogance. He is one for whom kindness and compassion are instincts and his sincere respect for those around him can be heard in his voice and seen in his actions. I appreciate a man who lives with an open mind, a spirit of tolerance, a generous heart, and a loving soul. He is driven and ambitious, yet not immune to indulging that child-like sense of wonder that keeps us grounded and in the moment. He must have a great sense of humor; a sense of self; a sense of purpose; and a sense of adventure. As for a sense of direction, well, that'd be great....as I have none...but, then again...that's what a GPS is for! Besides, half the fun in getting somewhere rests in the journey along the way!
