66, Fairmount, INI am single and live by myself. My children are grown with chrildren of their own. Two are grand parents which make me a young great grand mother. This past winter seemed like it was never going to end. Now that it has, I am looking forward to getting my garden planted.
34, Brownsburg, INAbout me: I find humor in life itself, because God has a great sense of humor. But I have a serious side too, as I recognize this isn't heaven yet. In my spare time, I love to read. Among my favorite authors are G.K. Chesterton, Jane Austen, Tolkien, Dickens (in moderation) and of course good St. Thomas More and St. Augustine. Mysteries are particularly thrilling, especially Agatha Christie. I'm also active and enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, canoeing, sailing, and rock climbing. After going skiing for the first time, I would love to do that again! I take care of the yard work and garden for my folks on the weekends, preferring fresh fruits and vegetables from the backyard to anything found at the local supermarkets. I attend Traditional Latin and Novus Ordo Masses, and I also love going to Byzantine Rite Masses when the opportunity arises. I believe that the choice to be (and remain) Catholic requires fully embracing all of the teaching of the Church. I am very pro-life and particularly active in that regard. While I recognize that I have much to improve, I strive to always remember the inherent dignity of each human person made in the image and likeness of God and treat each person accordingly.
23, Indianapolis, INHello! I'm Carson! I'm 23, I currently work in collegiate athletics but I'm in the process of applying to BSN programs to fulfill my dream to be a nurse. My top choice would be Indiana University's program in Indianapolis, IN. I have a passion for helping people, my family, my faith and my friends. I love to be outside, read, watch movies and enjoy the company of my friends.
72, Fowler, INI have been divorced many years, but, by choice, dated very little. But now I feel a need to have someone to share life with. I am very sincere and honest and very particular in what ever I do. Honesty and loyalty are important to me, as I do not think a good lasting relationship can form without them. I would like to find a christian man to talk to often, to spend time with doing a variety of things and to be my someone special who really cares about me. I like simple things in life - walking by creeks, sight-seeing, visiting parks, caring for my big country yard and especially, just sitting on my back porch talking. I love music, dancing and volleyball. I would really like to meet a nice man to share life with, to help me through good times and bad, and consider me his "someone special".
27, Zionsville, INDon't let the widow status scare you, I promise I'm normal! My greatest passion is my faith followed closely by family. I see the Catholic faith as a love affair, one that I am absolutely besotted with. I like to be organized but rarely am. I love to travel and explore new places or try new things. I have a variety of hobbies and interests including cooking, sewing, soccer, flying kites, building snowmen, dancing (without rhythm), strength training, and painting among other things. I'm a bit of a closet nerd. I always received high marks in school and am definitely into Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and science fiction in general. I play make believe with my daughter and love impromptu dance parties. Pop-up nerf gun wars also are a common occurrence at our house. One day I hope to build a legitimate teepee in our backyard to play in :) I'm afraid of spiders, storms, dentists, and heights. (ok only 3 of those are actually true!) I get sick on roller coasters so you won't find me at an amusement park. I'm surprisingly good at public speaking. Writing is my outlet when life feels too hard. I love being outside but prefer glamping to camping. Blood and other gore doesn't bother me in real life (I'm in the medical profession) but I despise scary movies. I'd much rather laugh with joy than scream in terror. Chocolate is my biggest addiction. Being a wife and mother are two of the greatest gifts God could bless me with and I hope to one day have the amazing opportunity to be doubly blessed all over again. Dating me is going to be different than any other relationship you or I have seen. I still have a great love and in turn grief for my husband. And that will always be there. However the Lord has given our hearts infinite capacity to love and I know I will love my future spouse just as much, if not more than my late husband. I long to have more children and to have a whole family. My life has not gone the way I might have planned, but I believe that God in his goodness will show me an even more beautiful path than the one I had laid out.
20, Lafayette, INI do believe my faith is one of the most important aspects of my life. I look forward to finding someone who will share my faith with me. My most influential person in my life is God and myself. Because in the end, only those two can push me to be a better person. I love to spend my time outdoors, garden, and look at night skies filled with stars. I enjoy baking and some cooking. I love watching movies and studying film history. But, my single passion lies with acting. I'm a Theatre Arts/ Acting Major at a university in Indiana. It is one of the things that keeps me going and one that I enjoy doing very much.
24, Warsaw, INI go to the Latin Mass. I'm the oldest of seven. My favorite things include traveling, hiking, antiquing, reading, and sports. I'm close to my family and nothing beats spending an afternoon with them at the lake! Kayaking anyone?!!! I am also an avid photographer. I love animals and have two dogs and two cats.
68, Valparaiso, INHi everyone, I am Peggy 🌹 and am a new member. I have tried other sites but they weren't what I expected. I don't give up that easily. I am from Chicago where I was born and raised. I came out here with my sister so we could be closer to family and adopted family. I found this town to be quaint and charming. It's a wonderful Duneland community that is close enough to the city to be considered a part of Chicagoland. It's about 45 miles and one train ride away. From here we can travel to Michigan for a day trip. I like to go for walks, fine dining, animals and shopping. I love animals and have 3 of my own cats. My house is in a park like setting, with a beautiful wooded area nearby with wild life. And summers are great on the 3 season porch. In nice weather we have a European market which is always very nice. Starts May 1 til the end of October.
28, Hammond, INI love Nature. Like to spend time outside. My family is very important for me. I like animals. Someday I would like to go back to school finish my career and spend time with my family.
60, Indianapolis, INPassionate about my faith (growing in it) and my family (praying them into Heaven); all else takes second place. Annulment pending. Greatest influences; My parents, quite strict but built us to be strong, to love God, to be fair to others. Neither finished high school, which was fairly common during the War. It was impossible to fool my wise father on anything.... never kid a kidder, he would say! But he taught me many valuable lessons. I especially recall his kindness early one morning after a young man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into our parked new station wagon....this young man had no insurance so refused a trip to the hospital, my dad brought him in, cleaned his head wounds and took great care of him. When I asked him why he wasn't upset about the car, he firmly chastised me that cars can always be replaced but people cannot be replaced. That always made a huge impression on me. He wasn't a brick and mortar type of Catholic, but he lived his faith by example in the way he treated others and his indifference towards materialism. At his funeral, I was stunned by the many people, strangers many, divulging numerous stories of his aiding so many in need, always while rather impoverished himself. My mother was more of a devotional Catholic and more recently I have developed a fuller appreciation and understanding of how her prayers have benefitted me (and still do) and it humbles me in gratitude. So they are my greatest influences and I hope they are smiling down on me. Leisure time? I spend way too much time on the computer and have cut that way back, except that I really enjoy writing and hope to publish someday. I love my dog, had two until recently. I read a lot, lovelovelove music and in my imagination I am an amazing dancer but reality is more like Elaine on Seinfeld. I try to go swimming at the YMCA several times a week to get in better shape and I really enjoy that, eat pretty healthy. Pilates 2 times a week. Love wave running and jumping waves whenever I get the chance. Politics is one of my many passions, so a bit distracted these days! I love old movies which is a passion I inherited from my mother. I'm especially fond of World War 2 movies based on hearing my father's experience in the army. Or any movie that I find edifying or based on a true story I always enjoy. Enjoy remodeling and decorating. I would like to study photography, I am drawn to snapping away at sunsets and autumn scenes or nature in general.
60, Terre Haute, INI'm passionate about my kids. I enjoy cooking, movies, antiques, fashion. Since my disability which is perifreuel neuropathy, I can't cook as many things without the assistance of someone else.
