55, Indianapolis, INI am very blessed to be the mother of 3 who are the joy and light of my life. I live a very simple, ordinary life which consists of work, family and church. Although sometimes the line between family and church can seem to get blurred! Over the years, I have served as Room Mother, VBS Teacher, Chauffer, Chaperone, Pro-Life Activities Coordinator and CCD Teacher. Now that my kids are all in high school, they are the ones "teaching" VBS and CCD. We also continue our committment to Pro-Life work. When their schedules permit, they often join me in peaceful prayerful protest at a local abortion clinic. We have volunteered with Beggars for the Poor, Birthline and Gabriels Project. I have enjoyed and been blessed by volunteering with various needs in my local parish. Both my friends and my co-workers have described me as quiet and reserved, but easy-going, fun-loving and spontaneous. I'm told I'm kind, thoughtful and caring. Although I'm not anyone's idea of a "party" girl, My friends say I'm always on the list for "girlfriend" time or interaction with our families. I've also been told that when they are struggling or experiencing a crisis, I'm the one they call. They know I'm there for them 24/7. With my kids becoming more independent, I am rediscovering a variety of interests. I've been told I'm easy to please. I am as comfortable in a pair of heels for Mass or a special occasion as I am in grubbies doing volunteer work. And, just about anything in between. I guess that's why the results of a personality assessment I took for fun as part of a youth challenge read "I am the best of both worlds".
37, Fort Wayne, INI love to travel and try new things. My favorite place is the library. I love playing cards and board games - my favorite are the ones that take all afternoon to play. I like to learn about Catholicism and hope to be an apologist in some way. I'm also a serious geek for math and science. But most of all, I'm just hoping to be a good Catholic wife and mother someday. I definitely shine more in person than I do in writing. Need a technical research paper done - I'm your girl. Ask me to talk about myself on paper, you get me overthinking and over-analyzing every question and response. For me that's the hardest part of online dating. But in person, I'm just normal. A little sarcastic (ok - a lot sarcastic) and just looking to meet someone to connect with.
62, Indianapolis, INI am genuine and friendly-rarely meet a stranger. Love to smile and laugh with friends and family. In general I like people and especially kids. I enjoy the outdoors and attending summer concerts and baseball games. Walking outdoors and appreciating the beautiful world The Lord created for us is a favorite activity. Traveling is a high priority and I have been privileged to "get away and explore" many locations. Love the mountains and the beach. I'm retired after 34 years. I spent 27 years as a junior high math teacher and 7 years at the high school level in online Ed. I have 2 sons, 2 lovely daughter-in-laws, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter and a new granddaughter arriving soon. Focusing on healthy eating and staying active is of upmost importance to enjoy life. One dream trip I hope to make would be to Austria and Switzerland(love 'The Sound of Music'). Also, the Holy Land, Italy, France, and England. I'm enjoying being involved in the shawl knitting ministry at my parish. I've been involved in helping with our annual summer festival/ fundraiser for many years. I was fortunate to have a loving marriage of over 35 years. My faith has been so important in coping with being widowed.
58, Indianapolis, INI am a very passionate person in many different ways. I am very blessed in many ways also. I have loved being a mom to my four sons. They are my miracles everyday. I have enjoyed every step and milestone of their lives and look forward to their lives changing with graduations, marriage and children.I love being a nurse. I am very blessed where I work. Never a doubt that God puts us where we need to be. Everyday I hope to make a difference in someones life as others have done for me. My parents and siblings have been my rock through difficult times. I am blessed to have my parents alive and look to them for their wisdom in truth and life. My parents came from nothing and have been so successful in many areas of life. Very strong faithful people. I enjoy many things in my leisure time. Gardening, exercising, reading, longs walks at Eagle Creek with my dog, watching good movies, spending time with friends. All the beautiful things God gives to us such a sunset, snow, all the seasons and people. At this time in my life I am searching for new friendships for all the reasons and believe God will connect me with that special person.
34, Hammond, INI've been on this site for a year or so, so I'm making a few updates. "Creative" is the top word people use to describe me; I like the word "unique." I love dance and music, I'm quite artsy-crafty, and I am a nerd. Too-smart for my own good, always did good in school, I read (mostly audiobooks lately) for fun...but I try to be as well-rounded as possible. Key things about me: "My name is Soraya, and I am a chocoholic..." - I prefer a chocolate stout beer (or ANY craft beer) over a glass of wine - If you don't like to dance, you'll be spending time watching me dance or listening to me harass you about how you need to learn (Latin, ballroom, country, whatever ---- just dance!) - Sad truth: I haven't gone dancing since summer 2015, unless you count Zumba, and if it counts I'm horribly out of shape! - My patronus would be a swan (if you don't understand this you need to go read Harry Potter...now) - I'm mad that I've never done a Comic-Con or cosplay at one, and at this point all I have is nakedness and a bell ringer shouting "shame" - Halloween is my favorite holiday because only in America can you dress up like someone or something, knock on strangers houses AND get free candy. FREE CANDY PEOPLE! - I don't self-identify as a millennial, and prefer being a part of GenY or how about just no label...then I realize how milennial that sounds and conclude, f-it it's like that Eminem song "I am whatever you say I am" I can go on and on, but will stop here. It's more fun to get to know people in real life, in person or at least through open communication channels. :0)
50, Connersville, INI am a good hearted woman I love my kids I am looking for someone to spend time have fun and hopefully fall in love again I love watching and going to football games and concerts. I also love watching movies cuddling. I just love to have fun especially with people I love and care about.
22, Fort Wayne, INHello! My name is Mary. I'm a cradle Catholic, and was homeschooled through High School. I really am drawn to all things lovely. I like being out in nature, hiking, cooking and baking, fashion, and makeup. I have an obsession with all things Disney, and have a dream of traveling to many different places. The Franciscan Brothers Minor from Fort Wayne, IN have been a wonderful source of grace throughout my high school years, and I still enjoy visiting them from time to time. I can't wait to meet new Catholic young people who are on fire for their faith.
45, Hamilton, INA simple, honest, hardworking and private woman looking forward to meeting the right man, not a perfect one, who shares the same faith, values and interests as I have. I prefer to know the person more as a friend first to get to know each other better. I stay active and take care of my daughter for the most part of my free time.
61, Indianapolis, INMy faith is very important to me. I enjoy my family, friends, animals and music. I enjoy being outside and traveling. It would be great to have someone to be a good friend and companion which may grow into a deeper relationship but slowly.
41, Fort Wayne, INAn educator at heart, I am also the consummate student. I love to learn and focus less on the accomplishments of my past and more on the potential I have yet to fulfill. I come from a family of educators, so it is in my blood, but it is also in my heart. The very art of teaching is supported by the openness to learn from others. Meeting new people of all cultures is my preferred educational venue. I appreciate learning about various cultures and historical elements. I am fascinated by diversity but also by how much we are alike in so many ways. As one who values learning and education, I consider myself an intellectual with a capacity for silliness...a great combination! The perfect guy for me would have a quick wit and curious intelligence that would allow for dialogues of depth and meaning, yet his fun and quirky sense of humor would always be close at hand. I can talk about European history in one moment and then discuss the finer points of handling an ATV in the mud in the next moment. Another form of diversity exists in being well-versed in any number of topics. Never a dull moment! As a partner, my areas of expertise include, but are far from limited, to honesty, loyalty, and compassion. I am also very passionate and demonstrative. You will never have to guess how much I care for you. You will simply feel it. I am one who will support you through the challenging times and champion you in the best of them. Of course, I am not immune to the loving reciprocation of such affections, either. What I admire in a man is one who is confident and self-assured, fully aware of his path and passions in life. However, he refuses to entertain ego and arrogance. He is one for whom kindness and compassion are instincts and his sincere respect for those around him can be heard in his voice and seen in his actions. I appreciate a man who lives with an open mind, a spirit of tolerance, a generous heart, and a loving soul. He is driven and ambitious, yet not immune to indulging that child-like sense of wonder that keeps us grounded and in the moment. He must have a great sense of humor; a sense of self; a sense of purpose; and a sense of adventure. As for a sense of direction, well, that'd be great....as I have none...but, then again...that's what a GPS is for! Besides, half the fun in getting somewhere rests in the journey along the way!
36, Indianapolis, INI am a caring person that enjoys family. I love being outside, many of the summer months you will find me either at state park walking trails or playing with the kids in my parents pool. I love to laugh and can be pretty funny and sarcastic. I like my job most of the time. I am generally a happy person! I'm just looking for a best friend to share my life with.
22, Bloomington, INI am a grad student, linguist, wannabe programmer, bookworm, podcast aficionado, amateur chef, and probably a lot of other things. I study computational linguistics, and work at a linguistic research institute. I am passionate about linguistics and especially the development of tools for endangered and under-resourced languages. I have studied a lot of languages, but currently my primary focus is Yiddish. In my free time I really enjoy reading and watching science fiction. Currently I'm working my way through Star Trek: The Original Series, and I want to eventually watch the entire canon. Before this I was really into Daredevil (and Jessica Jones and Luke Cage) and The X-Files. I also have a soft spot for underappreciated/indie romantic comedies. My favorite movie of all time is probably Stranger Than Fiction.
