There are few times when I am at a loss for words! Finding humor, fun, and laughter in nearly everything and everyday is so important! I enjoy dancing, going out to eat, walking with a friend, and browsing a book store. I have so many books that I will never get read, though I always have good intentions. I am pretty independent and do not mind going to places alone, such as Broadway shows or a speaker event; on the other hand, sometimes, it would be fun to know someone who might enjoy the same things. I am very involved in the Called and Gifted experience, prayer group, visiting the sick and those who are alone, and I enjoy playing for Masses at a nearby Carmelite Nursing home.

Hi, I love being a teacher. I teach 3rd grade in a small school which is part of a larger district. In addition, I teach CCD classes on Wednesday night for the 4th grade class, I am on the parish council and am Eucharistic Minister for those folks in the nursing home. I really like to travel and spend time with my grandchildren. For fun I like going to the movies and going to our local swimming pool to lounge and soak up the sun. Just went on a Mediterranean Cruise in November 2014 to Rome and Venice, Italy; as well as Dubrovnik, Croatia; Athens, Greece and a few other countries. I traveled with friends from a church in Des Moines. It was amazing!

Hi! I am a Traditional Catholic, and I very much love and try to live my faith. I have been working as a SCL (social community living) for the mentally disabled for the past 7 years. It can be very challenging but I do enjoy it. In my spare time I like to go out for a nice walk and enjoy nature or at times you may find me inside reading.

I'll start with Hi! I try to live my life with a sense of adventure, but this online world of dating is somewhat new to me! I'm hoping to meet some wonderful people and hopefully fall in love along the way! I am definitely a family oriented person and my family means the world to me. I enjoy spending time with my friends and have a lot of relationships that I cherish. My faith is important to me and I'm looking to find a partner that shares my values. I love my job as an RN and it really makes me feel like I can make a difference in someone's life every day, which is important to me! I also have a fun sense of adventure! I love to travel, whether it be a planned out, big vacation or just a quick weekend getaway. I have a fun, sarcastic sense of humor and enjoy spending time with people who I can joke around with and make me laugh. There is definitely a time and place for seriousness but there is so much to love about this life we are given! I try to keep a smile on my face and be optimistic when I can! In my free I like relaxing at home with a good book, cooking, biking, spending time with family or friends, or a good hike; I love the outdoors! I like to have new experiences and try things I've never done before. I'm a pretty big sports fan and really enjoy watching sports on tv or attending games in person...mostly football and basketball, but I can get into just about anything! I'm giving this a try to put myself out there a little bit more-hopefully exciting things happen!

Hello, I am a former farm girl from central Iowa. I have been able to take the values and experiences of small town Iowa and carry them with me. I am my father's daughter.....logical, hardworking, good sense of humor and a dose of ornery thrown in for good measure. Very simply put I am hoping for the opportunity to find a friend. In time that friendship becomes the basis for something very special. A hand to hold, someone to share the up and downs with, your fears and dreams. Someone that makes you a better you by being in your life. It's truly a blessing and privilege to have someone in your life --- I'm not seeking something complicated or fancy......just a friend, a hand to hold....then????

I am a shy person but a driven person. I will do what it takes to accomplish my life goals. I come from a very large and strongly devoted catholic family. I have a close relationship with my family, I like being with my family and enjoying life. I enjoy teaching religious education classes for younger children and I am also very involved at my parish. One of my passions is to help others, I am willing to give someone my food so they are able to eat. On my free time when my nose is not buried in a book, or on the computer for school, I like to take pictures, go on walks, sing my heart out (even though I am not the best), listen to music, and also read.

Hi! I am very passionate about my family, friends and catholic faith. I raised my daughter as a single parent and therefore am a very independent person. I will become a grandmother for the first time in June of 2017. I get my independence from my mother, she taught me to rely on my faith which I do. I don't know how people go thru life without it. In my leisure I enjoy taking walks, exercising, shopping, concerts, listening to music, The Blues, Old Time Rock and Roll Country Western such as Blake Shelton etc., getting together with friends and relatives, watching football, reading when I find the time, movies and camping. Basically I feel that I am pretty broad minded when it comes to doing new things. I am passionate about my work as a Parent Educator with the Parents As Teachers program. Thanks for looking and listening.

I am a multi-faceted woman of many interests. I teach middle school, which allows me to tap into my two main passions: music and working with people. This also means I love adventure, because no five minute interval is the same! The thing I most enjoy about teaching is witnessing the improvement my students make in the three years I have with them - not just in my subject area, but as young people. The beginning of 6th grade to end of 8th grade makes for an amazing transformation! I enjoy fitness activities - sometimes it's pure punishment to see how far I can push myself, but many early mornings, it is absolute bliss as I hear the world awaken, or see the morning constellations in the winter sky. I run, training for events ranging from 5K to full marathons; lift weights with a trainer; and teach POUND at our local rec center. I enjoy volunteering at school events, and am active in a variety of service clubs at the local and state level - this allows me to see my students outside of my classroom doing things they love (and gets me to sporting events), and lets me meet a variety of people of all ages and backgrounds. My family and faith have been positive and strong influences in my life. My rural upbringing has kept me grounded with a strong work ethic and kind heart. I enjoy many different activities, but mostly the people I am able to share them with. Whether it is having a meal at a new restaurant (be it something with fine linens and amazing cuisine, or a pub with craft beer and mouth-watering burgers), a concert, movie, ball game, or a museum - I'm open to just about anything. I enjoy travel, outdoor and indoor fun, active sports and being a fan, academics, and music. When I need time to myself, I can be found out for an easy run or walk on the trail, practicing (I teach but still perform a little bit, too, and nothing is better for stress release than getting lost in music), or reading.

I'm passionate about my children and grandchildren. They are such a blessing and bring so much joy to my life. Volunteering at my church and in the community gives my life meaning. My parents taught me the importance of unconditional love. I experienced 47 years of a beautiful marriage. My children taught me to love unselfishly. I admire Pope Francis and believe strongly in his teachings on mercy, loving one another and the environment. I enjoy reading, playing cards, and walking , especially on nature trails. Spending time with my friends is also very important to me.
