33, Olathe, KSI love the simple things in life: flip flops, coloring, the smell of leaves burning on a fall day, thunderstorms, and a good cup of coffee. I have a very strong belief that everything in our life happens for a reason and God uses each and every experience to teach us, no matter how small the lesson. He is number one in my life and I strive everyday to live the life He wants for me. I am a teacher and love everything there is about school, crayons, pencils, playdough, and inspiring students to want to learn. I am currently getting a second master's degree and love learning. It is one of the many things that excites me! I have the most amazing family and wonderful friends a girl could ask for. I am lucky enough to teach 2nd grade at an amazing Catholic school that is my home away from home.
25, Ottawa, KSI am passionate about helping other people, which is how I landed in health care. I graduated from the Ultrasound Program through Fort Hays State and was hired by my clinical site. I hope to gain some experience so I can go on a medical mission trip outside of the United States at some point. But at this point, I'm unsure of where I want to go. My parents have always been there for me and supported me with everything that I have chosen to do, along with the rest of my family. I enjoy going to the Royals games, sporting kc, and ku basketball games!
30, Saint Marys, KSI really enjoy spending time with my family and friends; quality time either doing activities together, just talking, or cooking for them. I tend to be on the quieter side until I really get to know someone, but like spending time with more outgoing people. I grew up on the West Coast and have always liked going for walks out in the country and away from town, preferably close to a body of water. I am very interested in finding out the history of every place I visit and dream of being able to someday travel to each of the 50 states, though I am not one of those people who have to be going constantly. My hobbies are spending time with my young nieces and nephews whenever I get the chance, coking, sewing and crafting, playing the piano...and reading whenever I can find a spare minute. My favorite books are the Book of Psalms, Charles Dicken's "David Copperfield", and Calvin & Hobbes. I am currently working at a law office and title insurance company as well as going to community college in the evenings. I tend to be drawn to people who have a sense of humor and who like to do fun, maybe slightly crazy things sometimes.
22, Atchison, KSI am passionate about theatre and music and am double-majoring right now. In my leisure time I enjoy cookie-baking, drawing comic strips, song-writing, play-writing, any type of writing in general, and drinking lots and lots of coffee. Toodle-oo!
24, Kansas City, KSI am a really shy person until you get to know me. I love kids and can't wait to have a family of my own some day. I am very close to my family, and love to hang out with friends and family in my spare time. I love to go camping, take the boat out during the summer and going to the shooting range.
24, Topeka, KSI look forward to finding someone who has a caring heart, is honest, and has a sense of humor. I want to find someone who finds a joy in serving others because it is important to me and is incorporated into my daily life. And if you like dachshunds, we will get along well!
32, Olathe, KSI am a single foster parent currently caring for two beautiful baby boys (ages 1 and 3). Fostering is a passion of mine and I'm looking for someone who can appreciate that and share it with me. It's not easy but so worth it to make a difference in the life of these children. It's a commitment though and understandably not for everyone. Between the boys and a full time job, I don't have much down time. I work in the engineering field as a drafter/designer in the power industry. I am a homebody by nature and a great evening to me is when the boys and I just hang out and play in the front yard, snuggle up and watch a movie after dinner and do some reading before bed. However, those evenings are few and far between, it seems we always have somewhere to go or something to do.
21, Topeka, KSI am currently a student at Washburn University studying vocal performance. However, I have realized I would really like to pursue church ministry after graduation. My Catholic faith, family and friends are the center of my life. I enjoy hanging out with people in my free time, taking road trips to visit people I haven't seen in a while, and making people smile as much as possible. My dad is my biggest fan. I am definitely a daddy's girl, and thank God for him everyday. I hope to be as giving and helpful as my dad as continue to grow. Liturgy of the hours? Rosary? Let's go!!:)
26, Kansas City, KSHere I am, sitting down to a beer after a day on the job, reflecting...about how to give a good first impression from a computer screen. Nope, got nothing. Here's my attempt: I'm a high school teacher and love my job! I'm down-to-earth, relaxed, perceptive, and enjoy finding the playful humor in everyday situations. I am very close with my family, even though we live a couple hours apart. I'm passionate about turning off electronics and just being truly present with people and enjoying the scenery around you. I enjoy traveling, but I don't need to bungee jump to have fun. (In fact, please don't make me. I have a fear of heights, so I would probably just cry haha) I love going off the beaten path to simply listen and learn peoples' stories. A few quirky facts about me: 1.) I coach high school bowling. Am I good? No. Does that matter to a school that is desperate for a coach? No. 2.) The other day, one of my students called me "grandma." Accident? I think not. More like Freudian slip! I'd like to think it means I'm an old soul who makes good cookies. 3.) Sometimes I eat oatmeal cold and raw. Like, with milk and brown sugar...duh, I'm not THAT gross. 4.) I had an 11-year-old rescue dog named Terrence for a year. He now lives with my parents because he has severe separation anxiety and destroyed a big piece of my carpet (God bless his little heart!). He is a lot happier now, hanging out with my parents' dog, and I still get to cuddle him when I visit. (Side note: I physically cannot restrain myself from petting puppies that are in my vicinity) 5.) I love reading, doing yoga, playing piano, watching movies, coffee dates, cuddling cute things, listening to live music - alternative bands, orchestral, acoustic open mic nights...that kind of thing. I crowd surfed at Warped Tour when I was 15...I've kind of calmed down since :) I hope to hear from you!
27, Olathe, KSMy life is rooted in my relationship with God and my desire to reach heaven and to bring as many others with me as possible. Therefore, the faith, hope and love I've received from God are the most important things in my life. As far as earthly things go, fellowship with friends and family is what I value most. Our fellowship is often centered around faith, sports, food, music, dance, and art. Moments of sharing those things with friends and family, as well as conversations well beyond those topics, are my greatest joys and memories. Those are the things I'm passionate about. In all aspects of life, I'm interested in how beauty opens peoples' hearts, teaches us about each other, and brings us closer together. In my free time, I'm typically reading, enjoying said interests with my friends and family, dancing, or exercising.
24, Overland Park, KSI'm the middle of five kids and loved growing up in such a big(relatively) family! I was raised catholic bumping around from latin mass and catholic school to homeschooling to public. Faith is the number one thing I look at when dating. But I also strive to eat fairly healthy and workout regularly. I'm a black belt in tae kwon do, ran two marathons, ski instructed and am now wanting to get into yoga(recently found out dead pose was a thing.) So having someone who kept their body up like their mind would be great! As for location, I recently moved back to KS after a few years being a ski bum in the mountains.
32, Lawrence, KSMy passport is a little bit dusty but I do love to explore the world and new cultures. I have tried and failed to learn many languages but I had fun in the process. Watching sports and movies with my family is where I find my laughs now. :)
