"This is your life. Do what you want and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. If you don't have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over-analysing, life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Life is simple. Open your heart, mind and arms to new things and people, we are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is and share your inspiring dream with them. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating. Life is short, live your dream and wear your passion."

"Annulled? Aack!" I totally get it! My 20s hardly unfolded as hoped. But I've learned SO much about myself and my faith, particularly that any sustained strength others perceive is all God's, not my own. You're still reading! Greetings! Nerd, class-act, mother hen, question machine, sharp as a tack and [occasionally] tough as nails--or so they say. While I don't deny these, here's a peek beneath some life-long labels: With no place like home for a Kansas girl, I clicked my heels--I do have fun red shoes, though my style differs from Dorothy's--and returned four years ago. I'm still rediscovering Kansas City from an adult's perspective. When the position I adored in a grade school was cut, I opted for a role-reversal to student again myself. As I finish lingering credits, I'm considering grad school toward becoming an educational psychologist. One characteristic that compels me is a "service heart" with passions especially for children/youth, learning plus literacy and respect for the God-given dignity in ALL. I partially get my "kid fix" now teaching 7th grade CCD. Whenever folks stop guessing I'm only 24 and I've mastered a more commanding presence, I may be interested in prison ministry. Some would quip that CCD with middle schoolers is solid prep ;) A few sources of joy: helping my one Grandma who's local (both are well at 95!), joining friends on the town and silently pretending I'm in "the cool group" for the first time since 4th grade, walks/hikes, museums of all sorts, game nights, painting (canvas, walls, furniture, whatever), design, landscaping, resigning myself that my beloved darkroom will not make a resurgence and giving digital photography a go, writing a poetry anthology, concerts/sporting events/festivals/art fairs and crossing off my "To Read" list before I need large print editions. I'm mostly positive and spirited, root for underdogs, relish sunsets, once was rumored to be attacked by a cougar, like a subtle pun, honest-to-goodness sustained a scar scrubbing the bathroom, always use turn signals changing lanes and sorta despise water balloons. Compliments toward me tend to be on a bright smile, warmth, knack with kidlets, solid handshake, hereditary gift-wrapping prowess and memory for obscure yet obviously critical details like someone's favorite cookie. The best ever was a friend who "saw Christ shining through [me]." Jaw dropped: W-O-W. Gracious Lord, help me be that more!

I grew up on a farm in northeast Kansas with 3 siblings. I am passionate about helping others, I love to laugh, and constantly find joy in the world around me. I have a large extended family and we are all really close! Friends and family have played a huge role in molding me into the person I am today!! I was raised catholic, and adore my faith!! I didn't realize how important it was to me until I got older. When I was in high school I experienced a lot of loss that really brought me to my knees. I had no where to go but up, and this helped me to cling to our Father and rediscover Catholicism at a deeper level! I still don't know as much about my faith as I could, but I strive to become a better version of myself everyday! I am currently in graduate school at the University of Saint Mary studying to be a physical therapist. This is definitely my dream job, and I feel I can help a lot of people through this line of work!! I have been through a lot of ups and downs in my life and these experiences help me to empathize with a myriad of people. I feel very blessed to have been through the struggles that I have because God has worked through these hard times to mold my character! I am very into watching and playing sports. My whole family is, so it makes for a really fun time watching games together!! I was raised to be a big KU basketball fan but then my three siblings went to college at K-state and converted. Despite their betrayal I have stayed true to the Blue!! My parents and most of my extended family are still big KU fans, so I have a lot of cheer support when we're watching games! ha. Growing up on a farm gave me a great appreciation for the outdoors and I'm definitely not afraid to get a little dirt on my hands! I really enjoy being outside, running, hiking, and fishing. My favorite summer pastime is going out to the lake, camping, and boating!! I have waterskied since I was 5 and I also enjoy wakeboarding and tubing!!

I am looking forward to new experiences in life. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but I am also content spending time alone and practicing hobbies or finding new interests. I love sports, books, interesting conversation, and a good beer. :) There is a lot more to me, so just ask!

Hello! I love my family and friends, and also love travel, music, adventure, and service. My perfect day would consist of being silly and laughing so hard that it'd make Tony Horton jealous, mixed in with the gorgeous outdoors and some good deep soul baring conversation. There should also be lots of food involved! I love the Catholic faith and strive and hope to grow spiritually, leaning on those around me. Service with the poor and in missions have really revealed Christ to me in my life! Have a great day!

I've discovered than I'm an extroverted introvert. Some of my favorite things are tacos, Switchfoot, books, and dancing. I love going on adventures--traveling or simply exploring a new hiking trail. One of my favorite quotes is "an inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered."

Hello! I am a nurse practitioner and have a true passion of caring for others. I love that with my job I get to do this every day. I am a huge fan of the KU Jayhawks and the Royals. I try to go to as many games as possible! While I don't have any children of my own, I absolutely adore kids. Being an aunt is my favorite job!

Three important things you need to know about me: I am obsessed with baseball (go Royals!). Road trips are my favorite way to travel. I love all things country. I'm a small-town girl from a large Catholic family. My family and the Catholic values I've been raised in have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am so grateful to my parents for that. My youngest sibling is 12 so it is fun to still have little kids around when I go home to visit. I began running my senior year of college and I am starting to train now for my first half-marathon in June. I enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, baking, hiking and visiting new places.
