I am most passionate about it the Church I love being Catholic and all that it pertains. I am looking forward to serving God more faithfully in my vocation. I believe I am called to marriage and looking forward to having children. My Dad is the most influential in my life. I recently lost my parents to cancer. I miss them everyday. I know they're with God that gives me peace. I like watching TV shows, being on the internet, and hanging out with friends.

I teach religion in the catholic school I went to growing up. I work at a girls' camp in the summer. I enjoy making things and do-it-yourself projects. I'm not afraid to work, I'll bait my own hook but I still can't unhook the fish. In August 2011 I was able to go to World Youth Day, Madrid and be within 20 ft of Pope Benedict among a couple million other faithful Catholics from around the world, it was an amazing experience and only made me want to visit the Vatican even more. I hope to go there one day. Most things I do are with/for my family. I love to laugh and pick fun, and I tend to spend more time and energy doing things for other people. I am looking for a guy who is committed to growing in their faith, someone to grow closer to God with.

I love to cook and bake! I enjoy making homemade meals and cooking Holiday dinners. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, don't be afraid to ask. :)

I am traditionally minded, I value modesty and my faith is very important to me. I'm tall, 5'10", friendly and enjoy good conversations and simple fun. I tend to be a strong leader, but capable of being submissive. I have many hobbies ranging from gardening to oil painting. I don't really know what else to say, but feel free to say hello and start a conversation if you want to know any more!

I have lived in Kentucky for my entire life - growing up in Louisville and attending college in Lexington - except for a short stint in Madison, Wisconsin for graduate school. Two years later, I am very glad to be home again, back near friends and family! I feel like I've spent so many years in school that I'm just now having the chance to rediscover old hobbies and to learn new ones. I've always loved watching and playing sports - I played field hockey in high school and college, grew up watching my brother and sister play competitive soccer, and am a fan of UofL and UK basketball (yeah, I'm one of those bad fans that won't pick sides). I love to read and can spend whole days curled up with a good book. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities when the opportunities present themselves. I studied American history in undergraduate and graduate school and still love to visit historical sites and museums. I also like to do other "nerdy" activities - like jigsaw and crossword puzzles. I've also really gotten into cooking in the last few years and enjoy trying out new recipes whenever I can. I like to try new activities whenever I can, especially if I have someone fun to come along!

I like to be busy and by that I mean I like to have things to do. I do enjoy my downtime but most of the time I prefer to be going somewhere, visiting a friend, going to an event, working on a project, etc. I also enjoy staying active and I try to work out several times each week. I have recently gotten back into reading for fun and the kinds of books I read are all across the board.

I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education, Language Arts. I teach high school English and am currently working towards my Master's degree in Learning Behavior Disorders. I am an English nerd; I love to read Shakespeare and correct your grammar in my spare time. I played collegiate volleyball for four years and have carried my passion for volleyball over to coaching, which I do throughout the year. On Sundays after Mass, I like to drink wine and watch The Walking Dead. AND, if my time isn't taken up between all of these activities, I like to play my guitar and create sappy Coldplay covers. In all seriousness, my Catholic faith is the foundation of my being; every action I take and decision I make is firmly rooted in my faith. I can't imagine a life without it. I'm hoping to meet someone who feels the same.

A few words to describe me: Louisvillian, sweet-tea loving southern gal, tennis playing, introvert, ambitious, joiner, dance-party-loving, dog-mom. I guess I split my time between 4 buckets: my faith, work, family, fun. Since there's sections for the first 3 I'll describe the latter here. In my free time I like to play tennis, volunteer in the community, walk my dog at the park/trails, and try out new restaurants with friends. I enjoy learning new things. Tennis was something I picked up out of the blue about two years ago. This year I started teaching myself calligraphy, and my next goal is to learn how to play the piano. I tend to gravitate to more low-key social settings, but I also like to surround myself with extroverts because it brings me out of my shell!
