  • Dawn, 46 from Erlanger, KY
    46, Erlanger, KY
I'm here for love. To really love someone, you have to know him. That's why I spend my CatholicMatch time getting to know people, especially by meeting them in person. (For instance, you can meet me and many other CMmers the events that members host around the US and other parts of the world. We'd love to have you join us-- see the Events page.) This does work! Patience, faith, and focus on God are key. Meet many people along the way! I'd love to share the fond memories, faith, and good friends with you. But first things first-- keep reading the rest of my profile-- there's good stuff here. ;) I'm a rare woman. I say this with a good dose of humility. I am a combination of innocence and wisdom, hope and caution, spontaneity and reflection, enthusiasm and reticence, idealism and simplicity, affection and modesty. There is so much I have to discover about so many aspects of life, and I look forward to it all. I have learned to look at life as an adventure. I try to embrace the joys and challenges in life. I am a social person, but I have had the opportunity to be by myself enough to know who I am, where I have come from and where I am going. I've cultivated a deep relationship with God and He in turn has given me many gifts. I've been able to grow as a woman, knowing that I am able to stand on my own feet. I don't need a relationship with a man to be happy, as I already am. I just want to share the joy I have with someone and have him share his life with me!

  • Marybeth, 51 from Erlanger, KY
    51, Erlanger, KY
I am a loving, kind, empathetic and loyal 49 year old professional woman interested in making friends and, hopefully, meeting that special someone. I recently went through a bit of a "transformation" and feel great about it. I used to spend most of my time and energy on my super fast-paced, high stress career in South Florida until health issues required me to take a break. All of a sudden I was faced with waking up each day and not going into the office. What a difference. After some time, I felt like God was leading me to act on my long-supressed desire to spend more time with my family. So, I packed up my two cats, dug out some winter clothes and ventured "north" to the Northern KY/Cincinnati for some months. My parents and most of my sisters/brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews live in Northern KY and I've been visiting the area regularly for 20 odd years. The rest of my family is in Pittsburgh, where I grew up (and, yes, I am a Steelers fan!). As much as I love the warm sunshine, sandy beaches and lifestyle of South Florida, I have found that I love the closeness of family more. I've spent time doing some of the simple, meaningful things that I never had much time for before: attending bible study classes, baking with my nieces, laughing with my sisters over board games, getting cooking tips from my dad, watching my nephew compete at Tae-kwon-do and getting beat at video games by my 9 year old Godson. I have learned to slow down and "smell the roses" so to speak; and I love it. For now I'll be splitting my time between Northern KY and Florida, but expect that I will be permanently relocating in the Northern KY area before the end of the year. My interests are varied-travel, theatre, movies, history, reading, fashion, etc. I'm just not a huge fan of cold weather so I've not spent much time doing things like skiing, ice skating or sledding. Although day to day I am generally a very healthy eater, I do treat myself to all different kinds of food (Indian, Cuban, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Thai, etc.) and am the stereotypical lover of all things chocolate!
  • Ashley, 27 from Florence, KY
    27, Florence, KY
Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile! I try to live out my life as a daily prayer, with frequent thoughts of thanksgiving for this wonderful life God has allowed me to live. I enjoy meeting others and thrive off of social interaction. I work in a pharmacy and the best part of my job is being able to interact with coworkers and customers. I make friends easily and would say I am easy to get along with. I look forward to living a simple life with my spouse. I want to live within my financial means and do not expect my husband to make a fortune to make me happy. I am family oriented and nothing makes me more happy than to have time to spend with my loved ones.
  • Teresa, 27 from Newport, KY
    27, Newport, KY
Hello, my name is Teresa :) I'm the oldest of seven, and am close to my family. My sister is one of my best friends. She has a adorable son named Vincent, whom I am a doting aunt over ;) Haha. I graduated Northern Kentucky University with a degree in History & a minor in Medieval & Renaissance Studies. I have worked for the local library nearby for ten years now. I love how much the library means to the community & my coworkers are like a second family to me. I'm a geek :P No use hiding it. I'm a honest person (not cruelly so, I just can't lie to save my life haha, but you can confide in me & I will keep to that). I am into pop culture things such as Marvel movies, Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc. I also like anime/manga, historical fiction, fantasy, paranormal, etc. Just depends if it grabs me but those are the main genres. I love cooking. Can I say a cheesy thing like walking & listening to music? But hey, I do like walking, as well as singing in the car while driving. Haha. I would love to explore more things like trail walking/hiking, volunteering at a farm, making soap, crafts, etc. I like to lately just see what local stuff is happening that may be fun. I am also the introvert though, & love chillin out at home in my pajamas & relaxing as well. Haha! I love spending time with my family & friends, whether it is just hanging out or going out to have fun. I thought I would give online dating a go since it's hard to meet like minded fellow Catholics my age. I am looking for that someone who is not only be the love of my life, but my best friend, who also holds the Catholic Faith important to them, as we both help each other grow in holiness & strive to get to Heaven. If you make me laugh & are a fellow geek, bonus points ;)
  • Danielle, 19 from Falmouth, KY
    19, Falmouth, KY
I'm a Catholic college student looking for my calling in life. Maybe I'll be a nun, maybe I won't. I'm a single pringle who's ready to mingle, and I'd rather mingle with people who share my religious views and don't carelessly use the phrase "oh my God" every 12 seconds. I have other preferences too.
  • Danielle, 30 from Covington, KY
    30, Covington, KY
I'm a Kentucky graduate working in the medical field. I love international travel, volunteering, being a professional bridesmaid, and I am always up for a new adventure. I like to read, spend time with family and friends, and being outside. I am always up to try new things. I love meeting new people and would describe myself as a friendly, outgoing, and glass half full person.

Passionate about helping others. I do volunteer work whenever I can. My most memorable experiences with volunteering was with Special Olympics. Looking forward to working with them again soon. I enjoy my job and love taking a spontaneous trip. I am most happy outdoors, but there's always a good movie when the weather dictates the day. Like exploring new places, museums, restaurants to name a few. I like WWII history especially the old airplanes.
  • Michaela, 20 from Cold Spring, KY
    20, Cold Spring, KY
I am studying to become a high school history teacher! I love family, friends, and people in general. Love making people smile and laugh. There's nothing better than making people feel loved. I'm passionate about service, and I'm a firm believer that we'll never be truly happy in life unless we're living how God meant us to be. After all, we're all meant to be saints. The people who have affected my character most are the nuns that taught me growing up and my parish priest. I wouldn't be who I am without my Catholic Faith, and it was nurtured and ingrained by those dear people. It is hard to find people with like values and morals, and that's one of the reasons why I'm here. I have also recently undergone a surgery which took a lot out of me and required me to take a semester off of school. For a while I was pretty crushed, but honestly, it has humbled me and brought me closer to God. I don't think I'd be where I am without the prayers that have been offered for me. There's a lot of writing required for my major, so I have a lot of school work which takes a fairly big portion of my time. But, with my leisure time I really enjoy spending time with friends and being outside, I love watching Classic television shows and movies, and I really enjoy reading.
