What an incredible journey I am on...growing up in a large Catholic family, under the guidance of my wonderful parents, who were married for 62 years! And with my 4 children and 5 grandchildren, life is an adventure everyday! But the most important part has my faith journey, which challenges me to be more faith-filled and focused on the purpose of this life here on earth and to grow as a Christian. The journey isn't always easy but I find strength in my relationship with God, who continues to love me even though when I fail! I'm a spirited, social creature with many interests and would love to share a thought, a hug, a smile, a laugh, a project, or just time with that special someone. I enjoy very much being a Mom, even though most of my children are busy pursing life outside these four walls of home. I have a great career with lots of opportunities to make a difference. My family and friends say I'm a good listener, engaged when it to comes to interesting conversation, with my heart in the right place. I love to just hang out with family and friends, share a good story, and laugh at the stuff that just doesn't matter that much! I find that as time marches on, there's a lot of stuff! Life has taught me some valuable lessons so if you're not willing to take the risk and explore the possible, you may miss a golden opportunity! Take a chance ...drop me a line... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I am currently a hard-working Realtor. I had to take early retirement from BellSouth because of down-sizing after working there for 32 years. I was a Senior Engineer. My husband passed away March 7, 2007. I have 3 sons: Two live in NC, the oldest is in KY. I enjoy meeting people and look forward to whatever the future has to offer me. I love to travel. My friends and I go on trips several times per year.

First passion, my faith and relationship with God. "For through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." Galatians 3:23-27. My passion in life is to run the race faithfully and complete the task set before me, that is, being a witness to the good news of God's grace~sometimes I fail. Second passion, my family~being a mother, grandma, and a sister. Third passion, being a Catholic educator, leading others to Christ and seeing God through the eyes of children is an awesome experience. My son has been influential on my life. He passed away at the age of 22 from melanoma. He was strong willed, having great faith and trust in God until he left this earth. In my leisure time I like reading, doing needlework, and gardening.

Hello! Here's a part of my story.....I was married for thirty-three years when my husband passed away. I was fortunate to be employed at the the time but have since retired. I try to stay busy and volunteer several days a week for different activities at the church I attend. I would like to meet someone who shares some of my views, (but doesn't always need to agree with me, that might be boring). Someone to go out with to dinner or a movie, maybe for a walk or a drive, maybe a picnic. Someone to talk with, laugh and just enjoy each other's company. This fall I traveled for the first time to Europe and I Absolutely loved it! Italy was awesome! Naturally I didn't get to visit every city so I'm thinking I must return some day. Would be an added bonus if I met someone that would also enjoy an Italian, (or elsewhere), vacation.

I am a very sociable person, enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I was married for thirty and fourteen years, widowed twice. I have children and grandchildren with whom I have close relationships. I returned to college after my children were older and that experience broadened my life. I like to travel, enjoy the planning almost as much, especially if I have someone to discuss with. I like to cook and to entertain at home. I have a comfortable life, enjoy good health, and thank God each morning for my many blessings. But I do miss having a dear man in my life.

I'm not really sure what to tell you about myself. So here goes.... I taught school for 29 years and that was very time consuming, but I really loved teaching. I worked with children who had special needs in the elementary school level. But now that i am retired I am passionate about the volunteering I do. I am a CASA advocate and I have one case. I am basically the 'voice' for children in the court system. I volunteer at BirthRight once a week. I help young moms and their children. Just recently I started volunteering in a kindergarten class. The children are so precious and so much fun to work with. My volunteering allows me to give back to my community. When I am not volunteering I like to read mysteries, historical fiction, etc. I also like to needlepoint. I have taken some classes in social work so I can best help the folks I volunteer for. A few years ago I finished a Master's in Theological Studies at St. Meinad in Indiana. The time spent there was wonderful. I have since gone there for retreats. It is so peaceful and lovely. I am hoping to go to Ireland to do some genealogy. I've done as much as I can do on the internet but I really need to check out the records. I enjoy life.
