52, Fort Mitchell, KYThanks for stopping by : } I'm just a simple girl looking for a simple guy. I KNOW you are out there! I've been divorced 13 years. I have dedicated those years to giving to my kids 100%. My oldest daughter will be a sophomore at the University of Kentucky in the fall & her sister just graduated from high school and is also headed to UK in the Fall. Not sure where to even start with being an empty nester! I know for sure that I'm ready to fill the one void in my life......finding a sweet, kind, caring, gentle man who will love me, respect me, & make me feel safe for the rest of my life. I'm down to earth & would prefer no drama at this stage of my life. I come from a close Catholic family. Having been on my own for 15 years as a single Mom, I have become so much stronger & independent than I thought I would ever be. I'm ready for my partner......my second chance. Let's get through this thing called life together! I've been searching for you for a long time! I pray that you will walk into my life very soon...life is so short!
62, Owensboro, KYFirst passion, my faith and relationship with God. "For through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." Galatians 3:23-27. My passion in life is to run the race faithfully and complete the task set before me, that is, being a witness to the good news of God's grace~sometimes I fail. Second passion, my family~being a mother, grandma, and a sister. Third passion, being a Catholic educator, leading others to Christ and seeing God through the eyes of children is an awesome experience. My son has been influential on my life. He passed away at the age of 22 from melanoma. He was strong willed, having great faith and trust in God until he left this earth. In my leisure time I like reading, doing needlework, and gardening.
68, Prospect, KYWhat to say to attract someone to me is way too subjective. Yes, I am humorous, attractive, active and great with communication but you will need to find that our yourself. I am ready to start a new chapter in my life called retirement/travel/commitment. If your chapter reads the same, contact me.
40, Louisville, KYHi there:) I'm not very good at talking about myself but I'll give it a shot.... I am a very happy, positive person that has a true love for the Catholic Church and its teachings. I have always attended a Catholic Church throughout my life. Although, I was not raised Catholic. I went through RCIA a few years ago and since then, I have sponsored one person. My children are being raised in the catholic school system. Growing up, there was always an overwhelming attraction to learning the bible through catholic teachings. I have two children that are wonderful and happy:) I work in the medical field in an emergency room. It's a great sense of joy to be able to help people in need or help families through their darkest hours. I'm a take it slow kind of girl. I've been out of a relationship for a long time so I could focus on my kids, myself and my faith. I love life and I know God has someone he'd like to put in my life to share my happiness with. I'm ready when His plan is ready for me:)
53, Lexington, KYIn being in education for 28.5 years, I was very passionate about teaching!:) You see, I started teaching when I was 21.5 years old! I enjoy helping others and seeing the smiles on their faces when I have dones things for them that they couldn't have done themselves. It's amazing what a smile on someone's face does to your heart!:) Have you ever thought about how fortunate some of us are to be able to do for others? Think about that for a minute and then 're-read' what I just wrote and you will understand why I am so passionate about helping others. Along with my parents, my teachers and coaches influenced my life tremendously!! Perhaps, that is why I became a teacher and coached track for many years!:) Awwww....:) In my leisure time, I love to take walks and go hiking on trails that lead to water falls. To me, that is so stress relieving and just allows you to 'stop and smell the roses' along the way!
26, Louisville, KYI'm a medical student from Columbus, Ohio currently living in Louisville, KY. I'm loving my medical education so far and my future career as a physician is very important to me. This is my first year of clinical education where I actually get to be in the hospitals and seeing patients and I am having the time of my life. When I'm not studying or working, I spend time socializing with my friends and looking for new ways to have a good time. I especially love trying new restaurants, coffee shops, and wineries. Cooking and baking are two of my other biggest hobbies and love to share the things I make with the people in my life! I currently have a baking "bucket list" and am having a lot of fun trying out new and more complicated recipes. I've had several opportunities to travel the world and live abroad, and continuing to do so is really important to me. My favorite travels have been to Ireland, France, and Uganda. I'm a Notre Dame grad and love to watch the Fighting Irish every saturday in the fall. I try to make it back to campus at least once a year for a football game. Most importantly though, I'm a committed catholic. I was born and raised but really chose the faith for myself in my late teens. I think the purpose of my life is to glorify God in all that I do.
40, Magnolia, KYHello fellow Catholics. I'm looking forward to meeting someone who shares my faith and beliefs. I have two kids and am a busy working mom. My family is important to me. I'm the third of four children. I still attend the church I grew up in. I enjoy movies and going out to eat. I also enjoy nature and outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. I enjoy a little vegetable and flower gardening. I often vacation at the beach and love the ocean. My favorite time was kayaking with young dolphins playing by the kayak. I was fortunate enough to video the experience so I get to relive it. I also love to visit the mountains and especially enjoy waterfalls. Traveling is something I love to do, but don't get to enough. My parents have been the biggest influence in my life. They are a wonderful example for me, having been married for over 45 years now. I grew up on a farm where they taught me the value of hard work.
56, Lexington, KYHello! I am passionate about the outdoors, particularly walking, hiking, and gardening. I look forward to having a companion who enjoys the outdoors as well, and I would look forward to new adventures!! I am a nurturing person who likes to make a house a home, and make memories that live on. I would like to meet a man who walks close with God daily and carries peace in his heart. My mother, now deceased, was most influential to me through her humility & love for Jesus. I am one of eight, in which my mother made sure we all went through the sacraments of the Catholic faith, as I did with my 2 daughters. I am blessed to have them living close by and having grandchildren:) I would like to share my favorite bible passage... Philippians 4: 6-7. This is the first passage I remembered by heart, and it came from a special bible study, in which I find it holds direct instructions and promises!! It is my hope that God will bring me together with a man, to share in a beautiful life together, in His perfect timing.
53, Versailles, KYI am passionate about life! Each day is gift from God... I love sharing my passion with friends, family, and my students. I teach science, horsemanship and train horses. I enjoy the moments, big and small. I like to laugh, music, art, the outdoors, travel and photography. A good book is a easy to get lost in! I am spontaneous, but organized and hard working. I can stand on my own feet, with the Grace of God. I have been through a lot, but my heart is honest and open. The hard times have taught me many things, first and most important, trust God!!! My leisure time is spent in whatever the moment offers, a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck, watching the sun set with a glass of good wine, outdoors is the best and I am very active and love trying new things and seeing new places.
38, Louisville, KYI enjoy watching good movies. I like to sit at the park and watch the water. It's calming. I want to own a corporation one day. I love traveling and learning new things. One thing I don't like is writing a book about myself.
69, Louisville, KYThis is the best time in my life, and I would like to share it with a special man who is a trustworthy friend, loyal companion, and romantic partner. Friends describe me as classy and sophisticated; I am also grounded, down-to-earth, and secure. I was born and grew up in Louisville, KY, moved away in 1980 and returned as a widow in 2012. I am retired after a career in academia and the public sector. I believe relationships work well when, in addition to chemistry and the intangibles, a couple shares values & interests. Some values: Compassion (toward self and others, and being able to give & receive compassion); belief & trust in God; social justice; simplicity & non-materialism (I'm a minimalist at heart); integrity; freedom; mindfulness; respect for nature & protecting the environment; & doing something to make our community, country & world a better place. Some interests: Art & architecture; progressive politics & public policy; stimulating conversation; literature & poetry; movies; the performing arts; classical music; & travel (local, national & international). In my 20s, I served in the Peace Corps, which helped me become a "citizen of the world" & sparked my lifelong love of travel and cross-cultural adventures. I have traveled in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific, but not Latin America yet. The man I would like to meet doesn't have to be a "Renaissance man" per se, but I'd like someone with comparable depth and breadth of life experiences. I am looking for a well-educated man with an intellectual bent, who likes stimulating conversations on all types of topics. Life is too short not to try to experience joy and discovery of something new each day. Also, I find that a sense of humor and being able to be playful helps with the inevitable "rubs" and irritations in relationships and life.
