I am extremely family oriented, love to read, go to movies, I love sports, especially football, college and pro. I work full time+ and am always excited to learn new things. Received my BS in 2007 - went to school full time and worked full time. I am currently taking an insurance class to better understand my current position in finance. I am honest, down to earth, and seek companionship - friendship foremost, and if a relationship builds from that, I would love it.
  • Catherine, 66 from Shreveport, LA

I am a people person, and I love to go out to dinner, play cards, watch movies or go to the theater. I also like quiet nights at home watching TV, reading, or visiting with good friends. I love being in the woods or on the water but I am not fond of tent camping or fishing. I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I am loyal, sweet, generous & independent. I am devoted to my family and try to spend as much time as possible with my three grandsons. I love to travel and try to attend Mass wherever I am (past locales include Paris, Venice, London, etc). I have two Standard Poodles who are my 4-legged, furry children.

I am a widow and loved my husband dearly as he loved me, but I know that I've got to go on with my life. I love keeping my home nice and being with friends. Yard work is something I have to do. My family are all grown and live away from home, but I hear from them often, actually not enough. The most important thing in life is to love and to be loved. I like to dine out every once in a while but wouldn't want to do it all the time. I like to cook and since it's just me I don't do as much anymore. Love animals especially dogs and horses. traveling sometime is o.k. also. my favorite t.v. shows are golden girls, raymond, frasier and keeping up appearances, my favorite movies loin king fried green tomatoes, and ghost. I love to laugh it makes me feel good and I like to make other people laugh too.

I enjoy people who are companionate and are givers . I love getting with a variety of personalities and enjoy music and dancing, bike riding, workout plus volunterein. But my main focus is that someone understands that placing God first in a relationship. My parents have been married for 62 years and still are so "inLove" plus are major family people and pray always! I have had 6 children...all grown and great kids and 4 grandchildren . We all are in this world temporarily so it is so important to prepare for meeting Our Lord!

I'm so very happy to have found this website as I am serious about dating in a mature and respectful way that includes my Catholicism. I'm still a novice in this on line dating. I am passionate about life, a gift from God. And I'm especially passionate about ever growing in my relationship with God, and myself and by that becoming the woman He created; able to serve others with joy! I have been richly blessed with several wise mentors that have greatly influenced my life. I mention the 5 that have had the most: My spiritual directors: Monsignor Murray Clayton, Fr Curtis Woods, and Fr. LeRoy Metro. My aunt , Tia Helen, and my long time mentor , Dr. Robert Minniear. I enjoy walking, going to the movies, great and deep conversations, exploring new cultures, being open to learning new things like fishing, camping etc. I love spending time with my family especially my 3 sweet young grandchildren, as well as spending time with my friends. Enjoy going dancing as well as all types of museums and taking short and long trips. One of my favorite things is quiet time/solitude to re energize. Mostly I love just doing simple things. I am looking forward to discovering if Our Lord's will is to have a second chance to be a wife; to be married and experience this intimate, challenging and growth provoking committed relationship. I was not mature when I married and knew little about myself and God. It's exciting to me to enter this sacred sacrament as the person/woman I am today! A woman God has been working on for a long time ( and will continue ). I'd love to share all the love, and joy I feel in my heart with a kind, funny and loving man that also has an active relationship with God. And who wants and values tha sacrament of marriage.

I'm a fairly simple woman. My family is very important to me. My Mother is still living (91) and very important to me. I have 2 son's (40 & 37) and 2 grandchildren! I'm retired from the medical field after 42 years. I love to fish and proudly live on a lake.

I am passionate about my calling as a teacher. I look forward to being with my students and sharing with them. I enjoy my colleagues. I have little leisure time. What time I have I share with my father and I do sports to stay physically fit and in shape. I enjoy nutritious foods and I enjoy wearing pretty clothes. The people that have had the most influence on me have been my own teachers. Many of them have contributed to changing my life for the better, although not perhaps at the time they were teaching me. I hope I am a positive influence in the lives of my own students. I look upon this "job" I do every day as a "calling" so it is not a job. I consider teaching to be a noble profession. I have taught many years and the more I teach, the more responsibility I have. I could be passionate about lots of things. I think, in my retirement, which is not forthcoming, I would enjoy writing books. This would keep me occupied and would be productive. I have had to write articles as a professor. I have been editor-in-chief, now twice, for volumes on film. I would enjoy writing, I know. I would like to take up a new sport, like golf. I played golf and I think I would enjoy it very much fun for the future. I would like to take a chance with Catholic Match as I have looked upon the site for years but I have done nothing. I enjoy watching movies as this is my current research, research on film. I enjoy cooking, however I cook very little. This is something I would like to do in the future, more cooking. I relish delicious meals and fresh fish, above all. I forgot to mention the wine to round out the meal! I would hope whomever I would "match up" with would enjoy wine with dinner.
