24, Columbia, MDThese things aren't easy to write! Hmmm...I love to laugh and joke around and I love to love others. I'm pretty chill but at the same time am very driven and determined to do whatever it takes to achieve greatness. In another life I'd live peacefully by a beach somewhere, but for now I'm looking to get stuff done in the crazy (but awesome) city of DC. I look for and expect the best from others, and have been taught to strive for excellence no matter how hard it might be. I love to sing (off key), watch tv, and get drinks with friends to destress. Sidebar, grammar mistakes irk me.
31, Catonsville, MDMy ten facts list: 1) I own the most active dog in the world, Pepper. She and I hiked a week of the Appalachian Trail together last summer, and I would love to do it again. 2) I went to the University of Notre Dame, so football is my second religion. 3) I have done 4 half marathons, and I plan on doing another in a few months, but I don't think I'd ever do a full marathon! 4) I grew up "church-hopping" - not different faiths, but different parishes. I have probably been to about 8 different churches in our area somewhat regularly. 5) My church choir's motto is "sing loud, sing wrong". I fulfill both. 6) My Bachelor's degree is in architecture. I worked in it for a while, but I'm glad I don't do it anymore. I have a lot of respect for architects! 7) I don't care that much about TV. My roommate controls the remote, so I watch whatever she turns on, but I do keep up with Game of Thrones. 8) I'm not a very girly girl, but I do enjoy cooking. I don't do much baking though. 9) When they asked what color car I had on my parking pass form, I wrote, "ugly". They didn't ask what that meant, and just gave me the pass. 10) On my list of places to travel I have Macchu Picchu, Peru; Meteora, Greece, Indonesia, Thailand, and England. One of my college roommates was from Indonesia and I've never been. I did get scuba certified at one point, so going diving in some really cool areas would be an amazing trip. I hope that gives you some ideas about me and my interests!
23, Owings Mills, MDHi, I am passionate about art, people, cats and my faith. I look forward to new days and better starts. I am young but well educated. I respect authority and the elderly and not because my life has a large gap between generations at the moment. So my mother has the most influential person in my life, she is strong, wise and someone i look up too everyday. In my leisure time I enjoy to read and write, I try to turn most of the leisure time to work time where i spend time working on new portraits or other arts while listening to whatever i have on the tv. Outside the home I like going out just to meet new people and have a good time.
24, Lutherville-Timonium, MDHi. I'm Katie. What I look forward to most? The future. So far all the things that have happened in my life have only lead me to me a better person and to be in better relationships with others and God. Seems to be a pattern that has developed, so I look forward to more growth and love. My friendships are a huge part of my life. I'm really invested in the people I chose to surround myself with. Honestly and loyalty are by far my strongest personality traits. A great buffalo sauce is a weak spot for me, I love jolly ranchers, and chew way too much gum (at least I'm always minty fresh ) I hate mornings and struggle to get out of bed when my alarm goes off, but am ready if you want to do something at 2am! I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that I may be more introverted then I was 5 years ago.
29, Silver Spring, MDHi! I think the best adventures are those shared and experienced with others. Whether it is traveling, exploring new places, cooking, or enjoying a good movie or book, adventures can be found wherever you look. Even though I am a bit reserved in new social situations, I become more outgoing once I get to know someone. I'm a full time grad student but I still enjoy having a balanced life that is not consumed by school. Family and friends are important to me and I enjoy spending time with them. I love spending time with my friends, watching movies, going hiking, playing sports, dancing, or just relaxing and catching up. I have a great parish community where I am part of the choir and also teach a Sunday school class.
25, Baltimore, MDHey! My name is Liz. I am someone who loves fun, even if it just means watching movies with friends. I love all things Star Trek, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, among other sci-fi, fantasy, and comedies. I love cats, and currently have a kitten named TARDIS. I try to work hard to achieve my dreams, always working to stand back up when life pushes me down. My faith had gotten me through a lot of hard times, and I've come out stronger. I am currently finishing up my undergraduate degree, a B.S. in biology with a focus in pre-physical therapy. My fall back plan is to go into Student Affairs. I'm heavily involved with residential life on campus and am loving it. I am praying God helps me determine between my two passions. I come from a large, Catholic family. I am the oldest of 9, and love everyone dearly. I am highly family oriented, and see family as one of the most important things in life.
