I am a friendly, caring, fun-loving, intelligent woman with a wry sense of humor who is deeply committed to my faith, family and friends. I love the outdoors and being physically active through hiking, biking, running, water sports and skiing. I enjoy experiencing all life has to offer such as cultural events, concerts (especially classical), travel near and far, theatre, movies, museums and eclectic restaurants. I have cultivated rich, warm friendships that have spanned decades. I am most proud of and enriched by the volunteer work Ive done with the church and various charities. I am blessed to have a life that is personally and professionally satisfying. I look forward to meeting someone to share the journey.

I am a people person. I like to be out and about most of the time but appreciate downtime every now and then. I am 40% charmer 30% adorable 20% incorrigible and 10% nerd which makes me about 100% awesome. I love to laugh. Being a good and faithful friend without expectation is important to me. I am the friend that will drive 100 miles to pick you up at the drop of a hat. I really enjoy wine. I never want to run another race in my life. The answer is always "yes" for a roadtrip. Social media is cool, but think connecting in person is even cooler. Being able to put down the smartphone/tablet/electronics is important. Reading books--actual books--are great. I make great homemade mac n'cheese.

I'm not looking for prince charming. But after being on this site since January and having met no one, I'm wondering what is it about my profile that turns men away? What is it that I have said - or didn't say - that keeps men from responding? Personally, I'd rather have a "thank you" or hear that we're not a match than to be viewed and ignored. This site should be better than secular sites, right? If you wouldn't mind, could you take a moment and tell me what prevents you from having a conversation with me? If it's something I can improve within my profile, that could be valuable information. Thank you. I am an active, practicing Catholic; and my faith is central to my life. I love enjoying the gifts God has blessed us with in this life here on earth: nature, music, art, creativity, history, etc. My life has taught me a lot; and I especially learned much about marriage through my divorce. Sounds contrary, but the experience and subsequent healing forced me to explore what God designed marriage to be, not what I thought it was. I have learned that it's more about giving than getting; it's more about serving my husband than it is about how happy he can make me; it's more about taking care of each other and helping each other on our journey to heaven than anything else. This means I will want to know how I can help you each day; and how I can pray for you. I will want to help you be the man God created you to be. I want to be the girlfriend/wife that holds your hand, gives you hugs, listens to your stories and stresses, supports your dreams, and rubs the stress from your shoulders. I stated that I have a few extra pounds, which is true, but I am actively working to change that (and I'd love to continue working on that with my partner), so it's not something that will be permanent. In fact, I have lost over 50 lbs since I first started paying attention. I enjoy walking and hiking. I used to swim, play tennis, and play volleyball; and I wouldn't mind trying these again. I also purchased a used bike last year, so I'd like to start doing some riding as well. I also said I can't relocate. For the most part that is true; however, I might be able to get that decision changed under the right circumstances.

Everyone has a job. I have a mission. I'm the female version of Jack Bauer, except prettier and petite. Sometimes I need to improvise, like when there was no money for a field trip to the Baltimore Zoo or for a bus to the National Zoo and I had to cover the cost so some of my special needs students could see zebras. Some missions have zebras. It's always a challenge working with special needs kids, but they give me back the love and patience that I give them. They tell me about how, when they're professional athletes, they'll take me to their games and buy me a new car. And the older ones always make sure the little ones know to be extra nice to their favorite teacher. Having a mission can involve some extensive travel; the Great Pyramids, Machu Picchu, Muse du Louvre or even going on Safari. I like being a little adventurous and try something new, and a first date over trying a new cuisine (something neither of us have tried before) or just a hike through Patapsco Park tells me that you do too. Still afraid of heights, like when I'm standing 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon testing myself, but maybe I just need someone to push me over the edge--in a good way. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to send the first message and ask out a woman who has her flaws but will always give you "me-time" and let you hold the remote control.

Hello! I am a "Cradle Catholic" and I would love to have the opportunity to attend Mass with a gentleman who has an on-going personal relationship with God.

I am a single lady who enjoys walking and reading. Currently in graduate school and enjoy attending mass as part of my prayer life each day when it is possible. Curious about people and things and find pleasure learning about both. Also enjoys intellectualism and critical analysis of situations and issues. I live a quiet life and enjoy learning things from other people to broaden my horizon. I have never been married and has no kids. In my life journey, i have learnt a lot from several people that have come my way and i have been selective in picking the best learning experience and forgetting about the rest. I continue to learn like one of my mentor used to say from cradle to the grave and it has been wonderful sometimes and not so wonderful at other times. Such is life and our experience are unique and contribute to we who are.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I am a Baltimore native and I recently started a new job at an organic grocery store. In 2014, I officially became a doula and that helped me realize that my vocation lies within that field. I'm planning on going back to school in the fall to pursue nursing and to ultimately become a nurse midwife. I love animals- I have a mastiff pitbull mix and a cat. I like trying new foods, exploring craft beer (sour beers are my fav), and seeing new cities. I try to live as naturally as is realistic. I think it's important to know where your food comes from (my dream is to have my own farm!). I value the importance of knowing what you put into your body and how to live in the bodies as they were naturally designed. I love Mumford and Sons, perfectly pulled espressos, drinking tea, and reading.

I'm a happy fun-loving woman who loves her life. : ) In addition to work (which I do have a lot of fun at - teaching 4th and 5th graders) I'm always up to something active and creative like planning faith events with a young adult group I'm a part of, enjoying and acting in theatre, creating artwork, and staying active and reading...to name a few. : )

I am independent, strong-willed, and have a high sense of moral values. I love travelling having been to most of Western Europe backpacking all by myself. I am financially self-sufficient--my small house is paid off and have another rental property. I am so particular in having good credit that I live within my means. I look forward to having a sincere, honest and dedicated life partner. My mom is so influential for all of us growing up. She is a model mother. She sacrificed so much so all of us (we're seven) go to college. She is a very positive person, believes in the good nature of God. I worked as a research analyst, economist, statistician with the Bureau of Agricultural Economics in the Philippines. While with the agency, I was sent on a government scholarship to pursue a Masters of Science in Economics at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. I had been an adjunct professor teaching economics in various colleges and universities. After I served my contract, I joined my siblings in Baltimore, Maryland. I worked as a clinical research coordinator and research manager at Johns Hopkins University To be physically fit, I love to go walking around the lake and enjoy the great outdoors. I enjoy cleaning and beautifying the house. Now, I am busy adapting the minimalist trend of home decorating.

I am passionate about my faith, family and friends. While a cradle Catholic, my faith has strengthened in the last several years. My work schedule is a little odd at the moment, so I like to make the most of my weekends. When the weather is nice, I prefer to be outside hiking or biking (casually) or doing day trips. I also enjoy swimming. I've been in this area a while now, but I feel like I've only scratched the surface and there is more to explore.
