Wow! You are so easy to talk to. Don't you love to go to the beach, the country, and try out new restaurants? Me, too. We both know what's important in life now: family, loyalty, honesty, someone to lean on & someone to be strong for. It is so great that we have our Catholic faith in common. I have always felt it was a gift that I was lucky enough to have been born a Catholic & given the gift of faith. I have a strong faith & you do too. Going to church with someone on Sunday, and brunch or lunch is a real treat. I love old movies so when the wind howls, or the rain is pouring down- let me watch Nick & Nora & Aster. You know who I mean.. Cuddling on the couch, eating popcorn, watching a good old movie- what more is there? Well, a lot more, but this is pretty good! I'm not retired yet, so I do have to get up early for work. Join me for some coffee & biscotti or some scrambled eggs. I usually watch Fox & Friends in the morning before going to work, run out with my dog and zip off to work. You have to be a dog person or at least be open to the love from a dog. Leisure time is at a premium, but I will make it for you. Hope you do the same. I don't think you will be disappointed in what I look like, but chemistry doesn't care. Sometimes there is just something special about someone that is so appealing.

Looking to reach and touch a man's heart... I have been described by others as kind with classic and formal taste. I describe myself as young at heart, psychologically healthy, and well grounded in the Catholic faith. I have found that classic and formal taste also allows for enjoyment of a fun mix of the traditional and contemporary! I have a great interest in relationship dynamics--all the different kinds of relationships that we encounter during our lives--and child development. Children are precious and wonderful gifts to our lives given by God to be surrounded by as much love and security as we can give them! I am passionate about marriage, home, and family being the happiest way to live this side of heaven. I am a cradle Catholic holding the belief that marriage and motherhood (in that order) is the God-designed fullest expression of womanhood. I am grounded in timeless values and convictions. I would also describe myself as a "steel magnolia." I love to laugh at genuinely humorous things. My sense of humor is rather dry. I enjoy high comedy and generally do not enjoy slapstick. My preference is humor that does not cause someone to walk away hurt and does not tear people down. If everyone I'm with can't laugh at the joke so to speak, then it's not funny to me. Especially from the time I was made a single mother, I focused on raising my daughters and, purposely for my daughters' benefit, did not allow the possibility of re-marriage to be an option. I now look forward to being the wife of a gentleman with a traditional belief in a husband's role in the sanctity and permanence of Catholic marriage. After God, family is practically everything and the thing on this earth for which I am most thankful. Especially here, in the very liberal state of Maryland, it is very difficult to meet a single man, available for marriage, who is seriously practicing the Catholic faith. My intent is to date to discern marriage and not just for the sake of dating... I pray that my poor choice and judgment in choosing my former husband will not be my one and only chance to live within the sacrament of marriage. It was heartbreaking to experience pervasive betrayal during which the vows were disrespected and shattered and the family I thought we were building was broken apart. I have been single for a long time, but I remain hopeful and optimistic that God hasn't finished working things out for me yet! :)

Independent, loyal, confident, with a sense of humor and humility. Very close with my family and love my career. Most would say I'm an extrovert, with an adventurous spirit. Willing to try just about anything at least once :) Surround myself with positive people. Life is too short to wallow in disappointment. The past is over. Live in the "now" and enjoy life. Grew up in DC area, then moved to Gettysburg, PA, in my 30's for 13 years. City girl turned country girl, but has since returned :) I love to explore new things, exercise, attend sporting events, happy hours, travel and enjoy all that DC has to offer. You? By far, my greatest accomplishment is my son (9). He is an amazing young man and so much fun! Ideally, if you are loyal, smart, optimistic, fun, close with your family, love to laugh, work hard and play hard too :) Spontaneity will always earn you extra points! But let's be honest, attraction and chemistry are must-haves from the start Everything else will fall into place...

I stumbled on this site site while looking for a church to attend in New York City. I found the video intriguing, responding to real need of the times, thus prompting me to write this "profile". And who knows, maybe, as a consequence, this may also clarify what God's plan is for me. Meeting someone around my age I can relate to is an attractive proposition; however, I am not in a hurry to jump into exclusive or long term relationships unless there are compelling reasons. Hope this "confession" does not disqualify my case.

I am a passionate young lady in quest of enhancing my faith in the Lord with a God-loving person. I have a beautiful daughter who is teaching me how to pray. She is the apple of my eyes. She attends Sunday school and inspires me in her devotion at such a young age. I grew in a Christian family, but now familiarizing myself with Catholicism. I majored in Law in college, but just reactivate to my true passion, Fashion Design, to earn my daily bread. It has been fun. Family and close friends are instrumental to me. My friends would describe me as passionate, loving, truthful, determined, caring to others, especially the poor, the oppressed, and the sick. Everyday is truly a blessed day for me. I like designing clothes, being a mom, pairing wines with foods, sightseeing the wonder of the world and appreciating art in words and objects. I hope to reveal more when I meet you.

Let's cut right to the chase--what men really want to know is (1) will she laugh at my jokes (2) does she love to dance and (3) is she smart enough to hold down a conversation? Right? Right! So, here are the answers: (1) Yes. Especially if you tackle me and hold you on the ground and tickle me (2) YES!!! Love, love dancing...all kinds. You want it...you got it! I can bust a move (3) Well, I'm modest as well........ OK, on a serious note... I'm driven; love audacious challenges

New year is a good time to reflect on and seek what is meaningful. Think that must include some singing and dancing! I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice (and even when not so nice sometimes). A good walk in the park or a hike. Or, bundle up for a cycle ride. Hope to travel some this year. .....

I am truly humbled by the experiences I have had in my life and the fantastic support system I have. My family has always been my rock, my foundation, and the source of my primary education. My faith is the other source of stability, peace, and guidance that I have relied on all my life. I have had a wonderful education both here and abroad (grad school for archaeology in Ireland) and now I have a job where I truly believe in the mission which is fundraising for a historic house museum in DC. I love to travel (a must for me), explore historic houses/sites, cook, try new wines and beers, exercise, movies, catching up on a favorite show, watching a sporting event, playing basketball, and generally being active and social. I am from this area, but am always eager to try new things and go new places. I value honesty, compassion, humility, confidence, intentionality, a good work ethic, and an outgoing nature. Above all else, the ability to connect on a spiritual level with someone who understands and values the Catholic faith as I do.
