Be still and know that I am God... Those words carried me through an unexpected crumbling of my marriage. I lead my son to God. Am seeking companionship... Love to be goofy or get serious about church talk.

  • Katherine, 28 from Agawam, MA
    28, Agawam, MA
My name is Katherine. I am 28 years old. My family is very important to me. Without them I wouldn't be where I am today. I was adopted 15 years ago by my parents. I work as a PCA for my mother so I don't get much leisure time. I look forward to having a family of my own someday. i had been lost for a long time but as I got older I finally figured out what had been missing. My faith had been missing from my life since my grandparents passed away when I was in high school. But this year in January I decided it was time to make my confirmation. So I made my confirmation this year and since then I attend mass at least once a week.

I enjoy nature and love snakes, spiders, and insects. Ideally, I'd like to meet someone who enjoys walking in the woods. Saint Francis is my patron saint. Sometimes I struggle with my faith, especially when things go wrong. I'd like to meet someone with whom I can grow in my faith.

I hear it all the time from people. "I'm passionate about it." "I'm not going to quit, It's my passion". Or I hear it as advice to students and others "Follow your passion". What a bunch of BS. "Follow Your Passion" is easily the worst advice you could ever give or get. Why ? Because everyone is passionate about something. Usually more than 1 thing. We are born with it. There are always going to be things we love to do. That we dream about doing. That we really really want to do with our lives. Those passions aren't worth a nickel.
