I am a very fun loving, active and adventurous individual looking for someone special who likes to explore and take on new challenges. I love to have fun and enjoy a good laugh now and then with family and friends. My current hobbies include dancing, traveling, taking long bike rides and walking. Favorite times of the year are the spring and summer. I am a nature lover and enjoy doing things outdoors, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Of course when the weather is not so nice I enjoy taking in a good movie and visiting one of my favorite restaurants. I am also an animal lover. Growing up our family has always had a dog that everyone would spend time with and take for long walks. Currently, I have a little lap dog that is half Chihuahua and terrier. In the near future, I hope to add a yellow Labrador to the family. My family and friends describe me as a fun-loving individual that they can count on for almost everything. Both family and friends have always played an important role in my life. They are the one thing that continually gives me the strength I need at times when things dont seem to go as planned, I thank God for having them every day. In the near future, I hope to make some everlasting new friends through www.catholicmatch.com. Perhaps maybe even meet that special someone to share new adventures and challenges with in the near future.

I am a person of faith, trusting that God will guide me to find my match. I am originally from Brazil, living here for many years. Divorced, but also free to marry in the church since I had not been previously married in the catholic church. I believe life would be more enjoyable if shared with a good caring catholic man. I would like to live every moment with someone kind and positive like I try to be. I love a good walking, music, movies, books, a cup of coffee, good food, family, friendship, and a good laugh.

Still single, but I try to live by the words - A single life is not a wasted life! Looking for a friend, partner and soulmate who is unique and interested in enjoying life on the weekends, watch sports activities, discuss mundane and world issues with an open mind, have a sense of humor, and most of all a relaxed attitude toward what life brings next, which is mostly surprises!

I'm Molly. I live and work in at L'Arche Irenicon, a community of people with and without disabilities sharing life together. I've been living in community for five years (last year in Kolkata, India), and this experience has profoundly impacted my life. If I say that Tom, Fran, Dan, Phil and John--my housemates with developmental disabilities--have been my greatest teachers, I know I run the risk of sounding sentimental. However, this happens to be the truth, so I am going to say it. Living with disability teaches a certain way of being vulnerable, a way of living without the masks that most of us use to make it through everyday life. It is also a life rooted in the physicality of the body--its beauty and limitations. I have been an imperfect student of this way of life, but fortunately, L'Arche is a lesson that never ends. My role in community has changed over the years as I took on leadership roles, worked part-time while going to graduate school, volunteered with our sister community in India, and transitioned back into daily life in the house. In my free time I enjoy reading (especially fantasy, science fiction, mysteries, and historical fiction), writing, drinking strong tea (preferably PG Tips), traveling, taking long walks (especially when traveling), gardening, and cooking. I grew up on the coast and love spending time at the beach. I've grown to appreciate my local YMCA, particularly the spinning classes there, and have recently started to explore yoga. I often visit my family on my days off and find that to be an important time of renewal in my week. I tend to give and receive love through sharing quality time.

This is me - I grew up in Illinois, came out east for grad school, and found myself staying. What can I say - I love living by the ocean. I cannot imagine ever straying too far from it. Of course, being out here, I am far from my family, which is scattered across the country. Though I do not get to see them as often as I would like, they are the most important people in my life. I have diverse interests. I love animals, science, outdoors activities (hiking, biking, kayaking, etc) or spending time with a good book or favorite TV show/movie. I love watching and playing sports. You can pretty much tell what season it is by which teams I am following (Bulls, Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears). Basketball was always a particular favorite. Baking, crafts, music are all hobbies of mine. I am looking for someone who is interested in some of the same things that I am, as common interests are important. At the same time, I love to learn and to be challenged. If any of this sounds like you or you'd like to learn more, I would love to hear from you.

I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. I am fortunate to work in Catholic Education and blessed to consider it my vocation. I work at an inner-city Catholic Elementary school. To me there is nothing more fulfilling then watching the minds of eight year olds ignite. I love to live an active life and love to explore through traveling. My parents traveled the world with my brothers and I growing up. So I have a wanderlust spirit. I am confident, driven, silly, and classy. I am a true lady. I have a sense of style and yet have the ability to run in heels. I am a socialite who enjoys good fashion, strong cocktails, and parties for every occasion. My friends would call me a loyal and fierce friend with a big heart. In my free time, I love to cook, garden, go on road trips, sing in the shower, chase the sunset, and learn the history of various lighthouses.

My friends and family would describe me as solid, kind hearted, persistent and funny. I'm witty and use sarcasm often. I love the simple things in life -- a smile, calm sunny days and great company. Looking for someone who is comfortable in their own skin and values a great relationship. I would be a hypocrite if I pretended that chivalry wouldn't win you brownie points -- Absolutely :)

I love being outdoors, especially enjoy taking brisk walks and enjoying nature. I enjoy teaching computer science courses as well as my job as a software architect; I work in the genetics/healthcare field, and there's never a boring day! My first career was 14 years as professional musician, performing in the Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. areas -- so I still enjoy music, particularly classical, and have kept my musical contacts by serving as a volunteer on the boards of various arts organizations and schools. Volunteering is very energizing for me. My dad, who recently died, influenced me the most. I was devastated that he died before I could travel to Maryland to say goodbye. He was an amazing person - an electrical engineer and computing pioneer, and was a pilot in WW II in the Army Air Corps. He is definitely the reason why I eventually became a scientist. Aside from walks outdoors, I spend what leisure time I have reading. I love mysteries and spy novels (P.D. James, Reginald Hill, Louise Penny, Len Deighton) and non-fiction, particularly biographies. I just finished reading "Four of the Three Musketeers," a wonderful biography about the Marx Brothers, and am currently working on "Engineers of Victory" by Paul Kennedy, and "From Bacteria to Bach and Back" by Daniel Dennett. And, of course, I love spending time with my three wonderful grown children, which usually involves cooking! I am fortunate that they all currently also reside in Massachusetts.
